Actually in the Utapau arc we would’ve had another Anakin and Grievous encounter and yes Grievous actually sees him for the first time without any droids in his way
Grievous was Sidious’ way of slowly picking off the Jedi Order with the express notion that the Council wouldn’t be stupid enough to send the Chosen One off to face down the Galaxy’s resident Jedi Hunter, they would send supposedly experienced masters instead, so Sidious got his apprentice AND wiped out a serious chunk of the Jedi Order pre-66, a double win. He just didn’t allow for Kenobi even Yoda to a degree that was a strategic blunder. As a by-product, Grievous and Obi-Wan became well acquainted.
They never met. They had encounters but it was never a formal meeting. They've both seen holograms of each other though. Anakin and Grievous were near each other in space, during the Gungan episode where Grievous was defeated, except Grievous couldn't see him properly, and Anakin was unconious, and than finally during the Uatpau Arc, where Anakin was looking ahead and didn't see him, and Grievous was probably not paying attention to him since Obi-Wan was mocking him.

The battle droids were often portrayed as rather simple-minded and played for laughs in the animated series, but I think they were genuinely terrifying in the vast numbers shown in the prequel trilogy. Not to mention that they are easily smarter and more competent than a lot of people nowadays.
Unlike Obi-Wan and Anakin, who treat those the clones like they’re closest friends and brother figures . Grievous treated those droids like they’re his unworthy slaves getting ready to meet their permanently dismissals.

*BATTLE DROID:* Ohhhh noooooooo... _(powers down)_
1:49
“Wait what are you doing!?”
Battle droid approximately 3 seconds before death
"Uh-oh... uh-oh!"
*insert something happening here*
Droid:I can’t still seem to hit anything!
Stormtrooper: I feel your pain 😭
Dooku: Greivous, These battle droids are expensive.
Not even a year later
Greivous abuses battle droids
Count Dooku: Grevious, those battle droids are expensive
Grevious: IDC
I don't want to be that guy, but if I remember, the battle droids were cheap to produce. which in my mind makes it funnier because he can always get a replacement to abuse
I really love how the droids became so lacking in memory wipes and constantly having their programming updated they literally developed sentience
Grievous was a brilliant general and tactician cursed with a very low intelligence military to lead. I suppose I can understand his frustration
1:29 can we appreciate the hero move from that droid who sacrificed his last power to give Grievous the coordinates before he passed out ?? :D
He's actually the smart one, they're almost there, and he can recharge and catch up 😂
We ArE.. sIr.. ThErE.. AlMoSt
Its funny because in CW Anakin only met Grievous once and even then it was briefly but Obi-wan cant go an episode without hearing “Ah general Kenobi~”
Press F to pay your respect to the unfortunate droids who suffered Grievous fury and anger

Grievous’ droid smacking back hand literally takes their heads off lol.
Good old pimp-slap
I freaking love General Grievous
Imagine how dark and messed up this would be if these scenes involved humans instead of droids
2:13 dat laugh tho
Haha the last video was just sad hahaha, other droid got knocked out instead of the one talking haha
It’s basically Matthew wood talking to himself because he voices grievous and the droids
Just like how Dee Bradley baker talks to himself as the clones
1:27 the one that just read him the directions and sounded perfectly fine immediately loses power right afterwards
Their batteries are probably from apple
This is the perfect video explaining gym teachers versus students
I have to sympathize- what kind of soldier responds to an equipment status check with "I don't know I haven't used it yet!" in a snotty voice? That's asking for it.
yeah, better not tell your commander the truth, might hurt his snowflake feelings.
@@scottmatheson3346 thats not how military operations work.....
This was one of general, Grevious‘s favorite pastimes, along with collecting light sabers
0:16 such a wholesome grevious moment, the happy music of him doing something great
The battle droids were often portrayed as rather simple-minded and played for laughs in the animated series, but I think they were genuinely terrifying in the vast numbers shown in the prequel trilogy. Not to mention that they are easily smarter and more competent than a lot of people nowadays.
1:41 Grievous: Stupid Battle Droids.
This is on people’s recommended congratulations
Unless that escape pod did not have room for two, that was a really scummy move lmao 0:26
Lmao
Yea but griveous is known for being scummy
😆
0:25
0:22 HEY
Battle Droids in the Clone Wars are hysterical, but I also kinda feel bad for Grevious since he's surrounded by idiots basically
Unlike Obi-Wan and Anakin, who treat those the clones like they’re closest friends and brother figures . Grievous treated those droids like they’re his unworthy slaves getting ready to meet their permanently dismissals.
i love how grievous hardly talks in any of these, just grunts and punches their heads off
Battle droids: *warn Grievous that they’re running out of power*
Battle droids: *run out of power*
Grievous: •o•
I like to imagine that droid the grevious took out is the same one every single time. What a grevious life it would be for a droid if he get rebuilt each time only to be abused by his boss again
A grevious life indeed...

" If you would allow us to close down for a few- OH MY GO- "
*gets cut in half*
" Any more complaints? "
"Uhhh... NO!"
"no!"
"No."
"nO."
"I Don't think so..."
@Ethan Schmid "... Yiiikes!"
Oh my god theres a full conversation in here-
@Julian Vaul is your transmitter working?
@Julian Vaul Ow! Alright, I'll check on it!
To quote The Simpsons: “Why? Why was I programmed to feel pain?”
He treats them like punching bag slaves rather than his only reinforcements.
Grievous rolling his eyes at the droids moaning as they walked was the funniest part of this video
It's the Star Wars equivalent of people yelling at or destroying their computers.
"is your transmitter working?"
"I don't know, I haven't used it yet"
Give me a battle droid army right now, I'd be dying of laughter on every mission
bro he literally still punched him as he saluted him and said SIR!😂😂😂😂
Those droids have more personality than most people I know.
You know what General Grevious has? Anger issues. All he has is extremely super aggressive anger issues. I find it a little bit funny whenever he’s takes it out on the battle droids. But I still feel bad for the battle droids, no matter how funny they can be.
man i loved the battle droids i always had some pity for them
Everyday dozens of battle droids get abused and left to be expendable, but you can help
Donate 5 credits to help a battle Droid
0:36 Not this again! How could your power cells be so depleted?!
*BATTLE DROID:* You would not let us ride on one of those creatures with you, sir. If you would allow us to close down for a few-- *_OH MY GO--!_*
@@lancecurry7538 Anymore complains?
@@Rover259Wild Nope. I don’t think so.
@@clayton4887 that's what I thought! now let's find that pod!
@@Rover259Wild Yikes.
The episode where the Droid were running low on power were comedy gold
Hey Hey Hey watch it!
Battle Droids have souls
“Is your transmitter working yet?” “I don’t know, I haven’t used it ye-“ *wack*
1:32
All right, I’ll check on it!
Best scene lmfaoooo
1:44 makes me laugh so hard everytime. He didnt had to punch both of them but he just hates them
Haha! Clankers go boom!
I love the lung cancer growl every time he swings at one
Obviously, Gen Grievous owns a home gaming system...
I mean if you were given command of incompetent machines over competent and adaptable soldiers you would be as mad as grevious too and would probably want to hit something. Example, telling your Alexa to do something and then it does something completely the opposite.
Plus, before he was a cyborg, Grievous was a warrior with actually competent followers 😂
Anyone else find such humor in that scene in which Dooku tells Grievous not to destroy B-1s out of anger as they are "Expensive?" If that's the case, then Dooku is an old fool falling into a price gouging trap.🤣🤣🤣
These droids have a lot more sass in here than in the movies 😂
clone wars grievous is insanely cool and sometimes even funny lmao xD
1:43 he just running there wrecking them for no reason 😂😂😂
I saw that as well lmao
Ship was rigged for destruction by Obi Wan,if only he didn't literally reveal it to Grievous by a hologram,he would have been a goner.
I like how the droids are saying more than just Rodger Rodger or negative Negative
If I started a complaint department, I'm taking me queues from Grievous.
0:26
i freaking love that scene😊😁✨❤️
i love how he rolls his eyes bc of how stupid
the battle droids r lol❤️❤️
i love grievous☺️
I see my favorite General still finds the lack of faith in the droids disturbing.
I swear at this point grievous must have killed more B1 droids than clones
Gotta give the Jedi credit, they treat there soldiers with respect.
*cough* Krell *cough*
@firewarrior8298 Well he was a traitor so no.
Man there aren't enough words to describe how much fun and how much I love Grievous interact with his droid army
Battle Droids? More like metal punching bags. XD
They call him the D̶r̶o̶i̶d̶ ̶G̶e̶n̶e̶r̶a̶l̶
I call him the Droid Pimp
Droid: "Speaks back to Grevious*
Grevious: "So you have chosen death."
Grievous is to battle droids is what Krell is to clones
I would love to have a battle droid, the way they sound and speak is funny and entertaining to me 😂
I’m starting to think that after “The Rise of Skywalker” that Every Droid just Goes “Fuck it” and decides to take I’ve the Galaxy
I would like to believe that if Grievous actually took care of his battle droid troops, he would've stood a better chance against the Jedi lol
The droids were actually quite smart and reasonable, Grevious was just kinda impatient .
I like to keep it in my head he just puts their heads in a carboard box
I laughed so hard at 1:34, battle droid responding, "I dont know, I haven't used it yet"
And people say the clone wars isn't a kids show.
