How to make General Grievous angry:
Step 1: *exist*
Step Omega: Mention his height.
Be a droid, or a sassy Jedi that says hello there
Step 2: state that obi wan kenobi is better.
There is no need to make him angry, angry is his normal mood. XD
Step 3: Tell him he submitted to the changes instead of having chosen them.
So it’s 100% canon that the original hello there in episode 3 is a mockery of grevious hence why he laughed when Kenobi did it

He works really well as either, honestly. I just wish the Clone Wars show could have found a better balance and still kept him as a viable threat.

@@seprithlicastia463 The Strongest is BY FAR Mother Talzin. But Ventress was no joke, she was becoming strong enough that Dooku was ordered to kill her because she surpassed the level of regular sith assassin (basically she was way above the inquisitors).
Grevious also fought Maul in that same invasion and although he was force pushed away for a while, he was the one who eventually killed Talzin (granted, she was locked in a duel with both Dooku AND the Senate).
He was a pre big deal, the Night Sisters were all naturally force sensative (and could use magic to make their less attuned brothers also force sensative).

He unironically isn't a coward he's just not fucking stupid when his ship is going to blow up he immediately gets to an escape pod or his personal fighter to survive he uses every advantage he can which is why he 'cheats' which is ridiculous to accuse him of when he's fighting literal space wizards who can defy the laws of physics and space using space magic he uses Fear panic scare tactics ambush tactics and intimidation because he knows that it is what gives him his edge against the Jedi Mace windu already showed that if the Jedi are able to focus and use the force on him they can turn him into a tin can so he overwhelms them with four different lightsabers striking and striking again and again as this 7 ft tall monstrosity in order to overwhelm them and not allow them to concentrate you'll notice even in the show that when he is defeated or the Jedi survive him it is always because they use the force knowing that his advantage is gone and he is now severely disadvantaged by you know because he isn't connected to the force he retreats because otherwise he would get turned into scrap metal the force is extremely overpowered without it when you face someone with the force you are mostly cannon fodder the fact that he is able to survive at all makes him a god-tier warrior and tactician

Grievous literally is smort at 9:36 ngl I believe obi wan somewhat admires Grievous' quick thinking. Actually it may be the reason that obi wan has a plan every time he is going to deal with Grievous. So grievous automatically knows when obi wan has a plan through experience.

@@aitipsea3909 I heavily disagree. You don’t beat horror movie monster grievous. Also the motivation isn’t even made clear in Clone Wars show, it’s made clear in now non-cannon comics. His motive was to get revenge on the Jedi for killing his people. Plus 2003’s Clone Wars was supposed to be about spectacle leading up to Revenge of the Sith.

In 2008 it is shown he has a personal grudge against the jedi and while the reason why it's not communicated it's still light years ahead 2003 in terms of characterization, not to mention we are explicitly told the reason why he's a cyborg and what are his views on things like the Republic or the different people of the galaxy
And by admitting 2003 is all spectacle focused with extremely little substance you have basically demoted it to Sequel status: lots of action of pretty visuals but if you start to think about it you realize how inept it all is

@@aitipsea3909rewatching clone wars 2003, especially the attack on coruscant, it becomes super clear the focus was on pretty animation and rule of cool over story or dialogue. mace windu and yoda just posing dramatically as they tell each other the same thing about needing to protect the city. it’s goofy and fun and has its place, but I’m tired of people positioning it over other portrayals just because it looks cool. ideally i’d have the extremely impressive animation of the 2D series with the character and theme driven story structures of later seasons of the 3D one
