@@primeoggaming876 His armour from season 1 throughout is just more standard, and hides his organs more, then changed his look in season 7 that looks bit more like him in rots
I have to wonder why people get upset at his loss to the Gungans. Sure, they aren't the most advanced, but that doesn't change the fact that he was fighting against an *entire army of trained warriors by himself.* Winning against those odds would take a miracle for anyone fighting alone, especially a non-Force wielder.
I also think its not something to get upset, but it was a battle that could have been longer and more dramatic....with grievous tearing the gungans with the spininng lightsabers left and right.... like krell did to the clones... turning the battle into a terror scene with the thunderstorm and grievous jumping from the unpowered tanks and ships taking out the gungans with his claws or feet until the duel with tarpals and eventual sacrifice..but the entire episode seemed rushed or cheap...

cptTK421 there’s one clip in the clone wars movie where the separatists kidnapped Jabba’s son and showed an entire table of heads of the bounty hunters he hired to get his son back.
cptTK421 we’ve seen grievous crush a clone with his foot, ahsoka decapitated four death watch warriors and the rolling heads were included in the following shot. We’ve seen satine a named and somewhat likable character stabbed through the stomach and killed in the arms of someone who loved her. I don’t think the show would shy away from that.
@@CaveMiner you can briefly hear it shut off when Grievous stomps on the Clone, they must've had a shif change around the time they were finalizing it.
In a way, Grievous got his wish, though he never gets to see it: With Luke gone, there are no Jedi in the future. (I refuse to acknowledge Rey as a Jedi. Fight me.)
The moment with Jar Jar and Grievous was scary for me, lol. The fact that Jar Jar of all characters survived an encounter with Grievous is really funny to me.
Grevious might seem evil, but remember that he has seen many of his kind killed, his lover killed, his body destroyed, misled to hate the Jedi, and his brain has been tampered with by Sidious. (Atleast in the legends version)
Fun fact, Grievous was trained by Dooku who was trained by Yoda, and Dooku acknowledged that Grievous was his best apprentice in terms of learning light saber combat. Grievous was so effective because he’s basically like fighting 4 Yodas at once in a lightsaber duel minus the force. He also has the blood of a powerful Jedi running through what’s left of his organic body, and brain implants that enhance his senses and basically make him into a T1000.
My favorite General Grievous moments: 1:10-2:53 General Grievous duels and captures Eeth Koth 3:33-5:14 General Grievous vs Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Battle of Saleucami 8:32-9:36 General Grievous attacks Obi-Wan Kenobi's fleet 11:22-12:15 General Grievous vs Ahsoka Tano during the Battle on Florrum 15:50-16:23 General Grievous meets Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Coruscant 16:43-18:27 General Grievous vs Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Battle of Utapau
When grevious battles kenobi for the last time, and he draws all four lightsabers you can see that the two he has on his right arms are anakins and kenobis but anakins is actually green.
I like 2003 general grievous the best of course but I LOVE the voice of 2008 grievous and he’s still pretty awesome I like how he’s always piecing himself back together he’s just all around very creepy we NEED more live action grievous
The reason Lucasfilm never had those two interact in Clone Wars is because in ROTS, it’s implied that Grevious meets Anakin for the first time aboard his capital ship during the battle of Coruscant, so they never had them cross paths throughout the tv show. Talk about attention to detail.
Y’know for moments where he is portrayed as a coward he’s actually adhering to the Rules Count Dooku laid out in 2D version, if he’s lacking any one quality of fear or intimidation it’s best for him to retreat. And when he is successful as an Antagonist he is an intimidating villain that throws the Jedi off Focus, it’s a shame grievous was only ever shown killing Clones, Padawans and Knights in the show rather than add to his credibility by killing a Jedi Master. And also had an advantage in showing more of His Origin as a Kaleesh Warrior, even in the Unfinished episodes he’s a badass 😂
The only criticism I have about the Clone Wars is Grievous' coughing. I'm not sure if this is still canon or not, but I know it was when the clone wars was still being made; Grievous never coughed until Mace Windu crushed his plating around his lungs, which happened literally right before Grievous boarded his ship with Chancellor Palpatine on it, and Obi-Wan and Anakin rescued him at the beginning of Episode 3.
The Senate tbh Grievous is overall better in 2003. Let's hope that he is shown kidnapping the Chancellor in season 7 of TCW. Grievous needs more epic scenes.
@@CaveMiner Yes! I agree completely! 2003 Grievous was brutal, but he was brutal in an elegant way. Clone Wars and ROTS Grievous felt more like a brute force machine rather than a cunning, merciless Jedi Hunter.
I think Windu was the first person to ever fight Grevious as he went out his way to disable Grevious. In the clone wars he literally got defeated by an army of Gungans which shows how weak he became over time. Im not sure where 2003's clone wars fits in the timeline, i feel like it should havd started from there though since he was a very deadly and skilled enemy

The new season gave General Grievous a major buff and updated his look as well. It would have been awesome to finally see General Grievous actually contending and looking the way he does in the movie.
Nah his new armor is actually a major downgrad, his organs are exposed
But instead he only has like 5 frames of screentime.
Anyone realise Grievous changed his look in season 7 to look more like himself in rots
Yes, during the majority of the Clone Wars he had a different armor set on. Near the end is where he changed to RotS armor.
Changed how?
@@primeoggaming876 His armour from season 1 throughout is just more standard, and hides his organs more, then changed his look in season 7 that looks bit more like him in rots

Also mentioned in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
I wish the show explored where Grievous' hatred of the Jedi came from.

Hol up, they were actually gonna include the severed head falling?
Well, that gives the "too graphic" rumor a little credibility. I mean, pretty sure it's wrong, but that clip made it, however briefly, valid.
cptTK421 there’s one clip in the clone wars movie where the separatists kidnapped Jabba’s son and showed an entire table of heads of the bounty hunters he hired to get his son back.
Are we going to forget the multiple times a Clone got their head severed, onscreen
Pre Vizslars death? You see his corpse with no head....
cptTK421 we’ve seen grievous crush a clone with his foot, ahsoka decapitated four death watch warriors and the rolling heads were included in the following shot. We’ve seen satine a named and somewhat likable character stabbed through the stomach and killed in the arms of someone who loved her. I don’t think the show would shy away from that.
cptTK421 we’ve seen a slave commit suicide, a teenage Padawan hunted and killed, terrorist bombings etc there’s just so much

Grevious might seem evil, but remember that he has seen many of his kind killed, his lover killed, his body destroyed, misled to hate the Jedi, and his brain has been tampered with by Sidious.
(Atleast in the legends version)
Jedi can’t beat grievous
But jar jar binks can
He didn't a good group of gungans did and they completely out smarted him

Obi-wan: Hold my blue milk
4:50 Well Grievous got what he wanted
Not really. Obi Wan and Yoda(and others) lasted all the way to the Death Star and made Luke a Jedi
When General Grievous said "It's Morbin' Time" I was amazed, like, what an amazing character development!
15:08 now THAT'S the kind of Grievous I wish we could have seen more of
Fun fact, Grievous was trained by Dooku who was trained by Yoda, and Dooku acknowledged that Grievous was his best apprentice in terms of learning light saber combat.
Grievous was so effective because he’s basically like fighting 4 Yodas at once in a lightsaber duel minus the force. He also has the blood of a powerful Jedi running through what’s left of his organic body, and brain implants that enhance his senses and basically make him into a T1000.
This video gets 10 ”General Kenobi” out of 10

3:33-5:14 General Grievous vs Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Battle of Saleucami
8:32-9:36 General Grievous attacks Obi-Wan Kenobi's fleet
11:22-12:15 General Grievous vs Ahsoka Tano during the Battle on Florrum
15:50-16:23 General Grievous meets Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Coruscant
16:43-18:27 General Grievous vs Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Battle of Utapau
I love how Grievous is basically an athesmatic ethnic cleanser and we still love him.

“How does it feel to die?” God i love Grievous, imagine him in mortal kombat
I'd be scared shitless if I saw him sliding menacingly like that towards me
When grevious battles kenobi for the last time, and he draws all four lightsabers you can see that the two he has on his right arms are anakins and kenobis but anakins is actually green.

The only and first time Anakin SAW Grievous, before ROTS, Funny how he never met him.
Palpatine wasn't gonna take the chance that Grievous would kill Anakin, him being the heir to the dark side throne and all
@@chiefclonecone Didn't Palaptine tell Dooku to tell Grievous not to kill Anakin or something?
The reason Lucasfilm never had those two interact in Clone Wars is because in ROTS, it’s implied that Grevious meets Anakin for the first time aboard his capital ship during the battle of Coruscant, so they never had them cross paths throughout the tv show. Talk about attention to detail.
@@chiefclonecone grievous would get destroyed by anakin
The amount of people that aren't immediately killed or incapacitated by his kicks is much higher than it should be.
Lol "so many light sabers to add to my collection"😂they put that in there for us hardcore fans intentionally lmao
This compilation of my best moments will make a fine addition to my collection.
It’s not really murder if it was legally sanctioned combat between Grievous and another combatant
Master Koth is just being self righteous
Seeing Grievous decimate the Nightsisters without mercy, that's the Grievous we needed more of in The Clone Wars

Grievous:I’ve been looking forward to MEETING YOU.
Dooku:You said it wrong general
The 2003 show isn't canon anymore sadly
@@kis4kasper And somehow Revan isn't either, but at the time of the show it was canon.
