You must intimidate them, make them feel outmatched, or just cause chaos all around. That's the only way to negate their Force advantage. Unfortunately, most of the Jedi we see remain calm when facing both them and Grievous, puts them a great disadvantage. Alternatively, you can go the Mandalorian way and use buckshot. Which, why the Magnaguards don't have that loaded in an arm-mounted slugthower is beyond me. Had they had that, we definitely would've seen many more Jedi deaths.

I like how Anakin’s fighting style has more and more aggression in it the further into the show you get. He’s fought Magnaguards enough times to display this. When he rescued R2, there was some aggression in him but he had more of a Jedi’s grace than anything. Meanwhile, in the dining room ambush, Anakin disrespectfully kicks down a cut down Magnaguard and grabs and crushes a punch with his mechanical arm in a manner that makes you swear you saw fear or intimidation in the poor shocky bastard, while on Naboo he’s more or less throwing Magnaguards around and across rooms and halls and catches Dooku by surprise more than once, making him use the Force to bring Anakin down.

Exactly. On an individual basis, Grievous' bodyguards were tough matches for Obi-Wan & Anakin in Revenge of the Sith. In the original script, the one fighting Obi-Wan was even supposed to land a few major hits. They were clearly intended to be top tier threats, yet in TCW they are overmatched in large groups by the likes of Ahsoka or Nahdar.
Dude the magnaguards absolutely wreck Ahsoka, Anakin, and obi wan in the show, though they do win more often because... well their fighting them more often.

So the lesson I see here is that if you combine four Magna Guards with a skilled lightsaber combatant/Jedi killer, they can't lose. I'm particularly referring to when Eeth Koth was defeated by Grievous and when Dooku captured Anakin. Though I suppose that's mostly because it involves a single combatant fighting against five.
Anakin: defeats Grievous's Magnaguards with some but not too much difficulty rescuing R2 Also Anakin: doesn't slice a single one of Dooku's yellow Magnaguards
I wouldn't get my hopes up. They were practically defunct following a New Hope. Those owned by a Hutt in the comics when Luke was searching for someone to train him were starting to fall apart due to disrepair, possibly being made illegal. Years later in the Mandalorian part of the timeline... I think we'd be hard pressed to find some still functioning.
That would be highly unlikely since Separatist droids were banned by Sidious. And there are probably little to no Magnaguards left, maybe some factories that got destroyed or disabled. And nobody would use them unless some engineer found some and used them for their own protection. Sorry to be a party pooper.

Droid body, legs, arms, a minifig head a cloth piece (Does not bloody exist irl cuz why not have nice things) and has the best block animation in the game.
Imagine stumbling across a reprogrammable, repairable MagnaGaurd. You'd either have an excellent sparring partner, or something that can give common thugs a good beating.
The Magnaguards had a few weaknesses. First, their weapon: while it could clash with a Lightsaber perfectly well, the only setting it apparently had was "stun like a bitch". Imagine if they had Saberstaffs like the Jedi Courascant Guard had instead, they would be far more lethal. They land hits all the time, but their very weapons preclude them from being genuinely lethal without a prolonged period of zapping. Second, they're droids. A natural weakness, sure, but they get chopped up extremely easily by any lightsaber. As Dooku and his four bot squad shows, with proper support they can easily outmaneuver a Jedi with their tactical programming and group functionality. Imagine if it whatever allows their staffs to clash was plated on their chests - that alone would cut down on a lot of their takedowns. These guys had serious potential, and its a shame we only ever see them fighting Jedi.
These guys had the skills of a jedi knight, not surprised separatists leaders use them as personal bodyguards but I wonder how hard and expensive was to build one to make the confederacy win the war building millions of them.

I noticed both in the movies and in the show that there are two distinct types of Magna Guard Staffs. The "Bulb" Variant and the Pike Variant, as I called them. I noticed that when the Magna Guard Black series figure had two staffs. From what the Movie is depicting, "Bulb" Staff armed Magna's are considerably less advanced than the Piked armed Variants. In ROS, The Bulb staff armed one goes down very quickly compared to the other one. My nerd fan canon is that The Pike design replaced the Bulb design, but since It was expensive to produce, Newer Magna Guards were armed with the older, less efficient design. It might be a stretch, but when Eeth Koth was getting poked by two Guard's with the bulb design, he still fought for a time. When Anakin got jabbed with the new design, he was knocked down on his feet and visibly more affected. Blame Henry for the massive nerd knowledge

What? Shaak Ti absolutely demolished a ton of them when she was already tired. There was like hundreds of them in the tunnel alone and she didn’t destroy them all but still if they were that powerful they would have easily stopped her.
Really wish the show didn't treat these as basically just more cannon fodder for Jedi considering that like Grievous they were literally MADE to fight/kill them. I know that that against top tier duelists like Obi-Wan, Anakin and Windu they'd inevitably lose but they should have at least made them put a good bit more effort against them.

The IG100s in Clone Wars were a field Grey color and could be taken down even by lesser Jedi yet in ROTS we have the two IG100s whom could put up a fight against Obi-Wan and Anakin ... perhaps they were a different model type as they did have a differenr colour of Blue and Alabaster and with the combat experience that could explain why they are tougher than the average IG100??? Given in the ROTS one of them was said to have been hit by friendlh fire from R2D2 dragging a Super Battle Droid and using its own laser gun cannons to waste fellow droids...
In the original Battlefront II (PS2) these guys had pistols that fired missiles. And grenade launchers. As well as poisons. That sucks, wish we coulda used some of the lighting staffs.
If I were a Jedi I'd probably be more afraid of the Magna Guards then anything else. You could decapitate these mechanical monsters but they'll still be after you.

I find them to be a rare mix: Cool but working as a team but still expendable. A few good examples are 0:30 - 0:40 and 2:47 - 2:57.

Of course dooku's robots do a lot of staff spins. It's very obvious who trained them
quite a missed oppertunity to put these in BF2 as infiltrators
For droids they are very strong as a team and btw general grievous might be the coolest character in clone wars
In the original Battlefront II (PS2) these guys had pistols that fired missiles. And grenade launchers. As well as poisons. That sucks, wish we coulda used some of the lighting staffs.

Why didn't General Grievous execute Eath Koth or just had ALL 4 instesd of just 2 of his Magnaguards set the Electrostaffs to kill rather than torture
