@@sethmoss8671 That is for sure. However the worst thing about Tarkin where that 1) His...less than sane philosophy. (Especially considering how popular it became even before the Empire which made things worse.) And 2) That he was a competent madman. Krennic on the other hand, was quite arrogant and self-centered, neither traits of which would help him as grand Moff. If anything, in the off chance the Rebels could not get him, Vader would. Many in the Empire where replaceable. But there is always a reason the replacement did not get the rank in question in the first place.

You can tell he too had a terrible temper like General Grevious considering he had that Commando Droid executed just for telling him that the prisoners escaped even tho the droid didn't even caused that.

@@christophersanchez7731 Exactly! There's another thing people are ignoring is Sobeck, the bastard who got many Clone Troopers slaughtered in brutal ways and sadistically tortured a Jedi and planned on doing the same thing to more is no hero. He's not even trying to save the anybody. It's pure spite, simple as that. It doesn't matter if the guy he tried to kill did horrible things in the future. Nobody knew what he would do, not even Sobeck. I hate that people are trying to make Sobeck into a blameless victim.
This is one of my favorite voices and villains in clone wars. And he had a really stupid tactical droid😆
Fun fact the name of this stupid droid is k2 b4 in honor of kobe Bryant
@@Diexd123 Neat! Thanks for the info.
And Ashley Ecstein did do a terrific Job of making her sound monotone
I think this Sobeck feling scared by Dooky
8:45 The moment he almost saved countless lives.
It wouldn't have mattered if he succeeded. Palpatine would just have someone else become the Grand moff and control the Death Star, like Krennic

Osi? Who gave Sobeck such a silly name?
@@tavellclinton9256 Sounds egyptian ngl
I love how Soebeck is just a Christopher Walken impression
Literally, if you watch the Filoni Zone for these eps it's explicit that that's the basis of his voice lmao.
James Arnold Taylor as Space Jesus, Jedi Optimus Prime and Separatists Christopher Walken
You can tell he too had a terrible temper like General Grevious considering he had that Commando Droid executed just for telling him that the prisoners escaped even tho the droid didn't even caused that.
Him and Grievous would be good friends tho lol. Since they hate Jedi so much
If Christopher Walken was a Seperatist.
Such a great villain (or anti-hero depending on perspective)
Ahsoka made a big mistake here.

When I was young, I mistook him for Moralo Eval
Same species, so completely understandable.
Same species and I think they acted roughly the same so wouldn’t blame you there.
If Princess Leia knew about this guy, she would’ve loved him for almost saving Alderaan.
Osi Sobeck's tone reminds me of Ren (from Ren and Stimpy, not Kylo): You eeeediots!
According to James Arnold Taylor (Osi's VA), his tone was based on Christopher Walken and Al Pacino.

I can’t believe he was close at killing Tarkin.
He looks like a crocodile
Sobeck was a crocodile idol of ancient egypt
I wish it was Obiwan who killed Sobeck. I will tell you why. Because both Obiwan and Sobeck were voiced by the same person.
Nice video
I thought his name was soyjack
More all scenes video
His voice is a joke compared to the german one,(lesser extend same to the clone troopers and others.)
