I really, really, REALLY did not understand what that meant as a kid. As an adult, who has DESPERATELY needed to stall telling bad news I TOTALLY get it, lol
Silas Carson is the only actor who officially was killed three times on screen in the entire saga. Besides playing Nute Gunray, he also played Jedi Master Ki-Adi Mundi, who was murdered in Episode III. Also, in Episode I he played captain of the ship that brought Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to Gunray's ship. And he was killed by Gunray's order.
I am saying officially because so many extras and stand ins played multiple roles in the movies and could have possibly be killed as many or even more times than Carson, but it is impossible to know or even find out.
Despite his role being deminished as trilogy progressed, he is still one of only two villains who appeared in all three prequels, the other being Palpatine/Darth Sidious.
