He was cool under pressure I think. But he’s still human so he got curious of what that thing was in the distance. But when the droid showed up he wasn’t really scared, because I don’t think that it’s in their training to be scared. There is that one episode with Plo-koon where some clones gets shot out to outer space and they panic. Whether or not they add this episode to the new season of the clone wars, there's unfinished scenes where echo became a cyborg and the separatists used him for information
I think the Commando’s really show how inconsistent the power level of the droids can be. Sometimes they are terrifyingly effective and sometimes they are about as useful as battle droids. But they also show just how much the shows animation quality improved as time went on.
It's obvious that when they're not as good is when they face people with plot armour, like Captain Rex who single handedly takes a whole squad out. Apparently it's hard to accept that clones lose some battle too, just like those two ARF troopers who should've 100% been taken out.

The BX Commando Droid series was used to protect high members of the Separatist Alliance. They were used to infiltrate and could use their vibroswords to block Jedi Lightsabers. Rarely, one of them (mostly captains) could be seen with _double bladed vibroswords_ but they were mostly scarce. They were also used as a special unit in The Citadel with specialized magnetized armor that would prove ineffective against Jedi force pushes, pulls, and slams. However powerful Jedi Masters could still manage to push them. The BX Commando Droids costed 10,755 Credits where the B1 Battle Droid costed 1,800 Credits (if you refer to the Roleplaying Game Books by George Lucas). They were rarely used and only (as mentioned earlier) in stealth or infiltration operatives. The counter to these droids were the Commando Clones, who were a very elite and special unit that got their own line of books, comics, lore, toys, games, and videos/mini movies. The Commando Droid is still today one of my personal favorite troopers since my favorite faction was the Separatist Alliance. The CIS had cheaper droids where human troopers required: Growing, sleep, food, water, medical care, training, and armor. Not to mention if a human got his arm shot off in battle he would scream and focus on his arm where as a droid would continue to fight, and if killed, could be transported into a different body for later battles. This was my Ted-Talk on why intergalactic artificial intelligence is a great opportunity for war means and for means of ending all human life.
Also another reason the Separatist Alliance is my favorite faction is because they are one of the good side factions. Along with the Rebellion and Resistance. They fight for freedom from a corrupt government (the Grand Republic Army). The Republic wanted to control the galaxy. The Rebellion wanted freedom from a corrupt government. The Empire wanted to control the galaxy. The Resistance wanted to- Okay I think you get the point.

I agree really they shouldn’t have bothered with battle droids that much these were far superior, I get using the battle droids as cannon fodder but they were used all the time, destroyers, super battle droids, commando droids and others would’ve been a better choice to make more of those
I think for ship boarding, and guarding outposts or other important areas should be the jobs of B2 super battle droids and commando droids, but large offensives that were mostly suicidal should be the job of tanks and b1 droids since they were expendable. The fact that they don’t use them often, also adds to the effectiveness of commandos. That is why they should mix in some commandos with some b1s and b2s when guarding areas and boarding ships. The constant switch in tactics for each unit would scramble every unit including commanding units. For jedi battles, it would be ideal to have commando droids to play sniper rolls, while a swarm of random droids play as main attack units. Reason I find these things so creepy is because their appearance and movement evoke the imagery of a horror movie monster, particularly of the slender & frighteningly fast kind
I always enjoy to imagine Commando droids were similar to clones in that they all had different personalities that could develop, if they hadnt gotten consistent memory wipes.
The commando droids are impressive, but sometimes I think they sometimes skim on quality when manufacturing them. Some of them do take a good while to go down, but other times they go down way too easy.
The ones on the rishi moon and the citadel were some of the best ones. The former for realizing they could disguise as clones and the latter for the sheer effort it took to beat them and the fact one of them took down echo

Well, depends; If you are in starwars, you probably get confused with the baby zombie and you will die... If you are in minecraft... He will backstab you with a sword in the middle of the night...
the entire rookies episode doesnt make sense continuity wise, like how does the republic already have enough commando droids to train with if they're "new" and how do arc troopers already have phase 1.5 armor in the very first year of the war
Love these guys, I always thought the empire should've seriously invented a version of them with less expensive material but retain their intellect and combat prowess and then mass-produce and integrate them in place of the b1's. They're programmed primarily for stealth, yeah.. but they sure as hell excel at just about any occupation you give them as seen throughout the show, including fighting on the battlefields.

Also these commando droid were so badass when they appeared they made the separatists seem cool af
It’s such a shame that we didn’t get a lot more action out of these badass droids! Especially in the regular series!
It would have been fucking GODLY to see Kalani come back in Rebels to save Captain Rex and the Clones by unleashing squads of Commando Droids on Imperials.
Reason I find these things so creepy is because their appearance and movement evoke the imagery of a horror movie monster, particularly of the slender & frighteningly fast kind
Probably one of the most badass infantry battle droids the CIS had to offer
5:03 this episode is so engrained into my memory I still have dreams about it
I always enjoy to imagine Commando droids were similar to clones in that they all had different personalities that could develop, if they hadnt gotten consistent memory wipes.
3:48 anyone else think that hand to hand combat was nice
3:30 just noticed there's pinup on the wall.
9:03 Damn, what a carnage
This episode should be named separatist montage kills
Can we talk about how badass those two arf troopers were though? They were holding their damn own against those commando droids
Love the sound their blasters make!!! Cool as hell
3:19 I always thought this guy said “Woah”. And not clones. I’m sad now.

Bounty hunter commando droids should have been a skin in Star Wars battlefront 2 (2017)
When these guys got added to Battlefront II it increased my experience by about 3000%
Vibroblade FTW
i really dig the different variations of the commando droids i wish we would have that too in bf2
You know shits going down when commando droids and super battle droids put deployed together
I love just how monotone they are even when they laugh they still sound awesome
*sees commando droids* "Oh my look at the time."
I love their little sounds they make
When they walk/move like these 3:51
Yeah me too , to me its a like an angry sound
2:01 spy:ROGER ROGER. *gets shot between the eyes.*
ZC gamer and reacts what episode is that

0:56 - Insert "To be continued..." meme
Or the Last surprise meme
The arf trooper that punched that commando droid is badass
Imagine if you had the Star Forge and could make millions of BX droid every day for free
Millions of Death Stars?
@@PlayBoX-qq9kr well your gonna need a army to run those Death Stars
6:52 That's why commando droids are awesome
Shooting form is excellent. They're perfect soldiers
these droid are definitely a nightmare for many. especially when they rushed to them for a close range/melee combat. or even a jedi....
For expample in 5:25 (THEY LOOK SO BAD ASS HAH)
Holy mother of god, these guys are awesome.
their 3 types of commando droids
1. the ones that are bad ass
2. the ones that get rekt easily
3. the ones that are horrifying as crap (Im talking about the episode where rex had to fend off against commandos, that ep scared the crap out of me as a kid)
Apparently, not even upgraded versions of the B-1 battle droids can escape the “RoGeR rOgEr”.
*What's scarier?:*
*A Commando Droid*
*or*
*A Baby Zombie Riding a Chicken*
ᎷᎡ.KᎪ- ᏴᎾᎾᎷ the speadster little sh*ts
Well, depends; If you are in starwars, you probably get confused with the baby zombie and you will die... If you are in minecraft... He will backstab you with a sword in the middle of the night...
I like how Domino squad trained against commando droids but the ones they actually faced in the field were far more cunning and deadly
the entire rookies episode doesnt make sense continuity wise, like how does the republic already have enough commando droids to train with if they're "new" and how do arc troopers already have phase 1.5 armor in the very first year of the war
9:04 they make sure to keep one alive to question, the intelligence of these droids was just menacing
3:20 What it actually says : Clones!
What we heard : *WHOA!*
They are coming to Battlefront 2 on the 26th along with ARC Troopers, I can't wait!!
8:03 Deathstroke??
3:11 What if Droid says "Why are you closing eyes?" in this moment?
Why did the commandos let him in when his eyes are not white and they are off
I love THAT DOUBLE BARREL HEAVY BLASTER SO MUCH! it LOOKS like a WW1 machine gun and sounds CHONKY.
5:09 man what a scream
11 months late but that ain't a scream. That was one of the bikes
I love that they can go toe-to-toe with a jedi
Imagine an entire army of just these droids. Terrifying.
Fortunately for the Republic, they were really expensive
You make me wanna rewatch the series.. AGAIN! Always love watching the tragedy of Domino Squad
I enjoy playing as these guys in Battlefront 2. They’re fun and effective.
Everybody gangsta till the Commando Droids start jumping
