All the years I have been watching your channel (7 years now?!) I have never questioned your integrity and frankly, never will. You and your group are some of the shining lights in the firearms community. Keep doing what you are doing and never ever stop.
Naahhh Biitch it is stunning , to me , to see references to him on many other channels , in video and comment sections. The guy made a bigger difference than even I'm currently aware of. Time will tell. Just blows my mind.
Thank you for sticking to your guns brother! I hope everyone watches this video and goes to Glock and demands that they really put some work into making their guns as good as the hype.
We don’t hold anything back. Never have. People hate us because we are successful at what we do I guess. They can keep on hating and I’ll keep actually shooting guns. 😇
I totally undstand where you're coming from brother. But I definitely agree with you that gun channels shouldn't be paid off to say nice things. But I beleive that men and women should be compensated for their work. With that said, if you look at their other videos, they tend to show whenever a gun or gun part fails. They could've easily edited that stuff out.
Zach, I do not do puff pieces. If a company wants a puff piece I tell them where to go. You’ll notice I don’t showcase much Century stuff...they wanted me to lie and I refused to do it. Unfortunately it’s the nature of the beast. Some companies are used to the old crooked writer game of “we pay you a ton of money and you write a glowing review” but we simply don’t do that. Never have. Never will.
Tactical Toolbox never liked Glocks. But Barry and Eric, and Chad got me into them. And you sir showed me how I can make it better and sexy lol. All yall do a good job
Zach LaMarca there are two points to be made. For one, their audience has grown a lot since that brochure was printed so I'd think they're worth more than 4k nowadays. Second, I don't think it says anywhere that you can send them a piece of crap and they'll tell us it's great. Also, I can't help but notice that unlike another channel ran by a bald bearded guy who seems to be named after a brand of liquor, I don't see comments that are critical of them being deleted so that says something to. I kinda felt like breaking out the pitchforks and torches myself at first but I think Yankee blew things out of proportion. He always has been a drama queen.
I got to shoot for the first time 2 weeks again and it was amazing. Just wanted to thank you guys for being one of the channels that got me into firearms. My parents aren't particularly pro gun but there aren't against either. I am lucky to have a gun owning extended family member. I shot a p320, p226, a 119 and a .22 1911. Had a blast, can't wait for deer season to end so I can go out to the land so I can shoot outside and get behind some long guns (that weren't allowed in the indoor range). I look forward to shooting again and hopefully getting one when I am able to
Eric you now and forever rock! Your integrity sets you apart from most gun channels. Your fan base will expand exponentially because of your character. Stay strong brother. Never doubt the millions of fans who support you.
The enduring appeal of this channel, in my opinion, is the winning combination of your knowledge and experience, down-home folksy southern approachability, the camaraderie the two of you share, and last but certainly not least, the incredible marksmanship both of you routinely exhibit. That last point is important, as it gives everything you say a lot more credibility. Ringing steel with a 9mm pistol @ 75 yards at will? Makes me perk up and listen to what you have to say! I couldn’t give two rat-turds what you make from manufacturers. If Glock buys you both Cadillac Escalades with solid-gold spinners, fine by me. I have learned so much from this channel-for free-that I have no grounds for criticizing you guys at all. You two owe me NOTHING. On the other hand, I owe you a lot for educating me on the finer points of firearm ownership. When Barry passed, I was worried that the channel would fade away, but Chad stepped up and found his voice and Eric took over as the main personality. Your content and output have consistently improved since then. The largest single factor in the change in public opinion regarding suppressors over the last few years is probably due to this channel’s advocacy. That is an incredible impact on the 2A community, and one to be very proud of. Keep up the good work, gentlemen!
Eric & the Iraqveteran8888 crew - you do and say what your opinions are! That's the way it should be, and to hell with the manufacturers. Keep it up guys! We appreciate you sharing your findings.
My favorite is the latest “5.5” version, with front serrations, and no cutout on grip. Added Ameriglo night sights. No plastic sights for me. Never was a Glock fan until the “5.5” came out.
Glock needs to drop their prices back down to the $400 range and stop thinking they are worth what they are asking. Then maybe I will consider upgrading from my gen3 models.
Completely agree. Even the used gunna are too much. New gen 5's should be 400, used should be around 250 to 275 at most. There's really nothing cool or interesting about Glocks. They're literally the most basic, generic, no featured gun there is, and they act like they're the hot shit in town. If i ever do buy a Glock, it would be gen 3 and i would modify the shit outta it. Till then I'll keep enjoying my canik's, walthers, and hk's, and two of those are half of what Glock cost and come loaded with features Glock owners could only dream off... "perfection"my ass.
I am a fan of the changes in the new 2.0. Honestly, just about every major player in the polymer wonder / striker fired game is kicking Glock's ass with their price points, and the reliability that Glock became famous for is now becoming common place in the industry. If you can't bring a reliable option to the table, you go out of business (cough* Remington cough*). Glocks just aren't that special anymore. I still like my old ones and I'm sure the new ones are just as good, but they are kidding themselves if they truly think they are worth what they are asking.
Gen 3 is still the golden standard by which I judge all other Glocks. When I was in LE, I carried a Gen 3 Glock 17. At the time, that was the newest model but I still wouldn't have had it any other way.
Simplicity is often best and why Gaston Glock wasn't willing to make drastic changes to his pistol. Glock Gen 5 is the last Generation under Gaston's watch. Gaston and Glock weren't without controversy that's for sure. They did revolutionize the firearm industry and now those who laughed and scoffed at him and his pistol now copied it. There might be many clones, but only one of them will be a true classic. Thank you Gaston Glock .
I have owned 13 different Glocks. I had the Gen 3 19 and traded it for a Gen 5 and I have to say I like the 5 better. I can feel the difference. The Gen 4 and 5 definitely for me have softer recoil. than previous models. Everyone is different. I agree.
He seems “irritated” throughout the video. Defensive?... something on his mind? It was a little weird & uncomfortable. I’m about to buy my FIRST gun & Glock 19 Gen 5 makes sense to me after a lot of research.
@@jrummel13 Doesn't really make sense, the slightly thinner size doesn't really outweigh the glock 19's 15+1 capacity imo. I held a glock 43x and loved how it felt but then once I weighed the options I went with a glock 19 which is just about as easily concealable.
Germany here, so I am not allwoed to carry and its freakin hard to own a firearm. Nevertheless, I love this channel exactly for what you said at the beginning of that video! Keep up the good work guys, love your work!
"It's a Glock." About the best description I've ever heard for a Glock pistol. I'm not a "fanboy" but I do own one (a Gen 5 BTW). I've shot others. Not only have I never had a malfunction, I don't think I've ever seen one malfunction. My only criticism of them is "they're boring." And in this case, that's a good thing. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Eric for making your reviews unbiased and fair to everything. Reviews should be out there to show the good AND the bad. If the gun makers don't see and hear the bad, they won't know where to improve.
0:48 WOW nothing but respect!!!!!!! Thank you for having the honor! I have nothing but respect for you man!!! I love Glock, but they have to understand that they are not perfect!
Eric, your integrity, honesty, and just plain intresting attention to detail is what caused me to SMASH the subscribe button......Happy Veterans day my fellow Vet.
I’m glad you made your stance clear on your motives. Standing strong for what you believe in means a lot to me and also I’m sure many of your viewers. I’m happy to watch your unbiased videos. Keep it up Chad and Eric!
I just got mine a few day ago and love it, it's a Glock nothing more nothing less. People just love to hate, just like with what smart phone you carry. It never ends for haters. Don't worry be happy!
Good for you Eric and Chad! Had glocks since the 80's and am stopping at my gen3 for now. There's really no need to change it. You guys are not the only ones with something bad to say about the 43 or even gen4 pistols, finally in this gadgety "modern" world of ours, glock gone done and screwed up a close to perfect pistol. They just had to mess with it. And BTW Glock if you're reading why not make a 9mm carbine? You already have the 33rd mag.
Wow, this video showed up in my feed, I did just get my first Glock - 19 gen 5 MOS. But.. I think I’m more impressed with how you put it out there that you’re not making videos to be liked by companies, but for your viewers. Just like me! Thank you, seriously.
Great video. Glock has consistently produced a great mod. 19. I confess that I own 7 glocks. 3 are mod.19's. My everyday carry, drawer next to the couch, and a project gun that is going to be 2/3 race for play. I've carried a Glock for my everyday carry since I could purchase the first 17, 1986? They are an excellent tool. I trust my life to a Glock.
Good for your honesty, Eric. I had a problem with a 30S and Glock was real defensive so I understand your initial comment. I too like Glocks and own several but they are just one manufacturer and there are a lot of other guns just as good.
You are the first to mention how the gen 5 may be viewed by first time Glock buyers. I have been buying and shooting guns for 17 years and never wanted a Glock. Out of nowhere I bought a new g19 and love it. The market it full of equally reliable, more ergonomic semi autos but they are so over serrated, relief cuts all over the place and very busy looking. I now appreciate the clean simple looking Glock. The smooth grips and beveled slide make this the best looking Glock in my opinion. They tell me it has a better barrel, trigger and a bunch of other internal upgrades. I still will be buying a CZ product next...
Eric, just reading some of your replies, and I picked up that you have some troubles in your life. Prayers for you and keep doing what you do. I have been a fan for years and wish you well.
I just bought mine and watched this while my grace period is in effect (BTW if u want to slow down 3 days, buy a gun). I’m happy it got your guys approval. I respect your input.
Props on calling out GLOCK company. Nowadays too many companies think they can strongarm youtubers to give a good review for pretty much free advertisement( if it's not sponsored).
So much from the hate of the other channel about being biased or supplied by gun companies, And following this channel for a long time it always has been about honest reviews and opinions with the good and bad points.
Carolina Prepper I would agree. However, I think the gen 4s have much better grip texture. I had my gen 3 G23’s grip customized by cold bore and love it.
I disagree. I finally came to Glock after they came out with the latest version of the Gen5. The first version of the 5, not so much. For the G20, I had to buy the Gen4 because there is no Gen5 in G20 10mm. Had to change to a MaNally trigger in my G20 Gen4. My Gen5 stock triggers were much better than previous Glock generation stock triggers.
Eric and Chad, do guys remember avoid the Noid, the Dominos Pizza joint commercial? Don't allow others in youtube land rattle you. You guys are what we call back home, good people! Keep up the good work. God bless.
squick1842 No that’s not why he is irritated at all. The problem is all the Yankee Marshal stuff. And the selling out to the manufacturers and the NRA. “ “ Supposedly. ???
I agree he seemed irritated but disagree about Chad. Chad seems like a great guy and I love his input on all the video's. Eric and Chad are basically brothers from what I can tell. It's all the bs drama going on. I personally see nothing wrong with anything Eric or Chad said. TYM took it out of context and made a video trying to garner attention. He's a blow hard.
when ANY manufacturer had a product reviewed and it had a fault ,instead of getting angry at the reviewer, use your corporate resources to IMPROVE it and correct the issues. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
Appreciate you being honest and not allowing Glock or any other manufacturer for that matter influence your judgement for their own benefit. I own Glocks and like them but don’t drink the “Glock Perfection” Kool Aid and no one should...it’s probably the one thing that keeps them focus in making sure they continue to make the best possible product for our benefit, the consumer. In the end, it’s best for business so needless to say, very disappointed they even tried messing with you like that...completely uncalled for. Kudos to you brother!!!
Ha, this is like me at the range. I get to my stall, take my backpack off, dump like 2 dozen mags on the counter, and just keep shooting until I'm dry. They call me Mini Meltdown Man. What can I say, it's what Glock 19s are good for.
I watch this channel and the military arms channel. Just keep doing what you do and please don't change a thing. Funny thing about the Glock 43 video, I bought one after watching the video you guys made. I carry it every day and feel pretty damn safe with it. Keep up the good work!!!
I see what your doing here and there in the vid and i get why, but stop defending yourself, fellas. No need to explain yourselves. You put out good educational and enjoyable material. And the bulk of your subscriber base, that's watched your videos for years, knows it. Keep up the good work guys.
He comes off condescending and douchie and smug but hes funny for the most part and throughout all the videos they have made he seems pretty cool just misunderstood. I can tell hes a good guy deep down. And hes done a great job filling the shoes of the late great Barry :( (R.I.P.) I love all their videos and im a big fan except for the fun they made of the TSA (yes im a TSA agent) in onevof their earlier vids.
Eric, the only people who have ever questioned your integrity are the people that are jealous of your efforts and skill. The best thing this channel can do is push forward without acknowledging that negativity.
You say you work for the viewers and honor and integrity is to us. What do you have to saw about the brochure circulating showing your prices for a favorable review?
Just keep on doing what you do, the way you do it. Ignore those who need to be verbally abusive in order to disguise their own shortcomings and self-hatred.
It’s the process of tinnifer coating that is restricted by epa. Glock was sending the slides over seas to treat them then sending them back to U. S. A. To assemble them.
"There seems to be some confusion about who we work for... my integrity is to my viewers"
I respect that.

First Glock was the Gen 5 Glock 17. I did it for the ambi slide release.
Great pistol.
obatron-one just picked up the gen5 19 - dropped about 699 with tax. I’m loving it, everyone around here seems it’s too expensive, but it’s so comfy..
I just got mine a few day ago and love it, it's a Glock nothing more nothing less. People just love to hate, just like with what smart phone you carry. It never ends for haters. Don't worry be happy!
Thanks guys, I'm about to buy my first gun gen5 9mm and you have reassured me that I am making the correct choice.
This is the best way to spend a lunch break at work! Keep up the great videos guys...More Gun Gripes too.
Wow, this video showed up in my feed, I did just get my first Glock - 19 gen 5 MOS. But.. I think I’m more impressed with how you put it out there that you’re not making videos to be liked by companies, but for your viewers. Just like me! Thank you, seriously.
"I don't think its the gun. I think it's me." Yep, it's you.
And that’s why this is my favorite gun channel!
Thank you for your service and your integrity Eric!
Yo bro what's up
If I were to trust my life to any one particular handgun, it would definitely be a Glock 19.
Thank you to all my fellow veterans for your service. Have a great Veteran's Day!
This is the most non-nonsense review I have ever seen...
It's fantastic!
Getting this soon as my first pistol. Can't wait!
Props on calling out GLOCK company. Nowadays too many companies think they can strongarm youtubers to give a good review for pretty much free advertisement( if it's not sponsored).
“Got one today and I love it as much as the Gen 3 And 4’s....!”
So much from the hate of the other channel about being biased or supplied by gun companies, And following this channel for a long time it always has been about honest reviews and opinions with the good and bad points.
I fucking love you guys! Barry wold be proud!!!
Not even 2 minutes into the video and he's Earned a Sub and a Like
I agree the gen 3 glocks best made model hands down only models I own and recommend thanks for sharing
Carolina Prepper I would agree. However, I think the gen 4s have much better grip texture. I had my gen 3 G23’s grip customized by cold bore and love it.
A lot of people seem to complain about gen3 grips, they fit me just fine.
God bless.
**hugs phone that I'm using to watch this because Eric is here for us** 😢
much love and respect for your unbiased review!! bought my first gun this week, Glock 19 gen 3.
damn, took me a minute and 30 seconds to hit the subscribe button, well done.
i love that you guys don't back down and stand up for your principles.
Eric seems irritated haha
justin M I got that too!! He is pissed
Noticed
I would be too if Chad were always saying stuff trying to bump in on my review. I think Chad needs to STFU abit.
squick1842
No that’s not why he is irritated at all. The problem is all the Yankee Marshal stuff. And the selling out to the manufacturers and the NRA. “ “
Supposedly.
Chad is like a brother of John Wick damn!!!
I got the blue label version so damn cheap: I love it
I heard allot of people complaining about the frame not matching the beveled front end. I finally got mine in today and it matched perfectly!
someone sounds pissed off .
TheCristo68
I'd say he has every right to be. If I had my name dragged through the mud for making money off my work I'd be angry about it too
Ha, this is like me at the range. I get to my stall, take my backpack off, dump like 2 dozen mags on the counter, and just keep shooting until I'm dry. They call me Mini Meltdown Man.
What can I say, it's what Glock 19s are good for.
TYM is a complete tool but I'd be lying if I said the whole debacle that went down didn't change my opinion of this channel.
What debacle?
TYM is an odd apple but speaks the truth
TYM is an asshole. He hates on more successful channels and his viewers are leaving him
Casey F Ryback Do you have a point? Or did you just feel like running your mouth?
Custom Southern Arms pretty sure he was saying he won't watch that channel anymore like a lot of other people
I watch this channel and the military arms channel. Just keep doing what you do and please don't change a thing. Funny thing about the Glock 43 video, I bought one after watching the video you guys made. I carry it every day and feel pretty damn safe with it. Keep up the good work!!!
Some of those loads are not "smoke-less"... almost back to flint locks
It's your review videos and not Glock's official...your opinion and we respect it
Don't fix something unless its broken. Sorry, but thats my opinion. I say stick with the Gen 3.
Agree.
PistolManiac100 fix it until its broken, then retrace your steps apparently ,thats thinking lately
Yeah. Thats the same thing 1911 people say.
Its just real common sense, thats all.
PistolManiac100 agree 100%. But they had to mess with it.
I don’t see a thing wrong with this video. Why in the world did glock want you to take this down ? You guys give your honest opinion and I love that.
Hello from Ireland 🇮🇪
Stay away from my gold leprechaun!
I personally haven’t seen your g48 video. But i can admit i got rid of my 48 before i even hit 500 rounds. Gen 5 19 or 17 can never go wrong.
He'll yea you don't need to take anyone's shit he'll yea
I see what your doing here and there in the vid and i get why, but stop defending yourself, fellas. No need to explain yourselves. You put out good educational and enjoyable material. And the bulk of your subscriber base, that's watched your videos for years, knows it. Keep up the good work guys.
Hola amigos!
Good Hombre
Como estas broha
Finally a gun guy who’s not offensive. I’m a big fan of your work ✊🏾
Eric's cool as ever. I've tried to watch Chad but he always annoys me.
Your so right about Glocks, they were like " ok, one shape forever, no changes, no questions"
Anyone who uses "perfection" as their slogan should not be allowed to make multiple generations of "perfection" it either is or it isn't.
Just keep on doing what you do, the way you do it. Ignore those who need to be verbally abusive in order to disguise their own shortcomings and self-hatred.
Glock is a shitty company, that has been riding one success for decades.
It’s the process of tinnifer coating that is restricted by epa. Glock was sending the slides over seas to treat them then sending them back to U. S. A. To assemble them.
