NAPA urethane will last a few years, likely the best option other than bed liner. I would recommend just line-x the whole thing and be done with it. Buy once, cry once. We are going to Windrock in April if ur ready. For the black parts, I've had the best luck with VHT Roll bar paint. It's tough stuff from a rattle can.
I have been thinking about raptor liner since I can tint it any color. Just not sure if I am ready to pull the trigger on it haha. I appreciate the info!!
@@samthejeepguy5245 raptor ain't bad and it'll last. I would stay away from shiney as more gloss just shows more imperfections. If you do strip some of the finish / decals back off be sure to use etch primer before the raptor. Windrock season is approaching. RL will love it and we'll take extra precautions to keep him wheels down.
Your audio is terrible. Extremely hard to hear you at times and never very loud throughout the entire video. May I suggest an upgrade ?. I went with a wireless lavaliere/lapel mic for around $42 off Amazon and actually very pleased with it. But by all means, you choose what works best for you of course. Just please, choose something and good luck with your future videos.
Thank you for the feedback! I use an iPhone to record my videos and I used to have a life proof case. That’s why the audio is so bad. I have learned a lot more about how to get better sound and have looked at some wireless mics to help.
@@samthejeepguy5245 I totally understand about the life proof case & I'm glad you learned the main cause for the poor audio level. You can spend a fortune on all the different high end options but I'm cheap lol. I watched a lot of reviews on RUclips and eventually decided to try this one www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TV7J574/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 No, I don't work for and I am not affiliated with the manufacturer nor do I sell this product. It's just information I'm sharing since I've had the mic for close to one year and was not only impressed with performance but actually I'm very please with it and have had no issues. And at $47 you definitely can't beat the price. It came with on transmitter pack but two mics, one a lapel and one on a wire headset and comes standard with the 3.5mm plug which was what I needed since I too use both my iPhone & Ipad. You won't find my videos on RUclips as they're instructional videos made for a nonprofit I volunteer with. Bu, what works best for me isn't necessarily going to be the best solution for someone else. Good luck with your search & with your future videos & thanks for replying to my post, I hope I was helpful. JC
@@samthejeepguy5245 Awesome, sounds like it's in good hands. Seriously, I have had fantastic success with an inexpensive lavalier set off Amazon for around $50, came with the clip on lapel mic and a seperate wire wrap around with short boom mic and one receiver. Also has the 3.5mm plug used with iPhone/iPads so very simple hookup. In depth reviews here on youTube so you're able to view & decide on your own. Good luck and keep up the great videos.
GOOD PREP IS CRUCIAL to end results and longevity....

Sounds good! I hope i will be ready by April. And RL is actually pretty careful with his Jeep haven't seen him get close to rolling....... Yet hahaha
Prolly need to sand it down to bare metal so it has something to stick to better
Don't hate on the black jeep 🤣 lol I think its about time I re-rattle my hood, maybe I'll make a video on it.
Hey Somebody has to be the black jeep of the family haha. Just remeber prep work is your best friend for painting!
I blame your prep work more then the rattle can.
I agree that’s why it was coming off. Did a lot more prep work when I sprayed the raptor liner. Appreciate you watching
Ur suppose to strip the existing paint first..
