Constructive criticism incoming! I love kickboxing style workouts, but many of them end up being more of a modified aerobics class than anything related to punching and kicking. My goal is to help, not to offend. * The 2nd sequence punching up at the sky was basically a no-weight shoulder press which has no real basis in any striking art I know. Suggest instead doing a sequence of jabs low (to the body), middle (to the chest), and high (to the face). This engages the deltoid similarly. * The same movement was employed from the plank position. That one works though because it's abs, back, and balance. Your demonstrator should try and keep her hips level during these, though. She was rocking quite a lot which lessens the core work. * Side kicks. There are two types that vary based on foot position and purpose. A side kick is done with the hips at 90%, knee chambers up and in, then extends out pushing through the heel, which is the contact point. It's a power kick or a push. The other is a round(house) kick, where the knee comes up, but not forward of the body, then the lower leg extends kicking with the shin or shoelaces. It's a soccer kick turned 90%. It's goal is speed. You need to differentiate. Power should come with slower music. * Side kick-step sequence modified nicely to the heel-kick. * Side kick-jumping jack modified nicely to the roundhouse, both worked with the pace of the music you had * Squat punches at the end needed more spice. Horse stance (sumo squat position) works well, and allows a wider base for powerful punches. This is a finisher, so it should be full intensity arms after those 3 previous leg sequences. Feel free to get on the toes a bit and recruit a little hip movement for power with these, while staying deep in the stance. It'll feel a lot better than your narrow squat position. * There needs to be a cool down. It's so important to cool down properly after this type of workout to prevent injury and preserve flexibility. 3-4 min is all that's needed, but it is essential. * Music is so critical. We naturally follow the beat and sync up with it. Punching sequences need to be with faster bpm songs. Kicks with slower. That front-kick, back-kick combo was an absolute beast at the pace you had. And there were several punch sequences where the music was slow with no beat at all while the singer did her interlude. Avoid that kind of song for a workout since it drops that audio cue we learn to listen for. I know this is always a challenge, but something to be aware of. * As a professionalism bit, the squeaky cartoon noises didn't work for me. You decide if that's the personality/brand you want to project. If so, embrace it and make it your own. If not, figure out how you do want people to see you and your work, and project that. Your work is your resume! Again, my goal is constructive here. It was a fun workout that could be fairly easily modified to be more consistent with what was advertised. Respectfully, K.

Great work out with good rounds but should have said this is for beginners with two breaks. I don't think have two 30second breaks is a good ideas as we rest in between routines.
I was very nice, just a little comment, sometimes "begginers" doesn't feel like, the person was in the same speed that "advance", Jumping jacks in basic way are just leg side to side, maybe just to considered people really are in begginners could be do it slower. Thanks! keep do it.

This was a great workout. It's important to remember that you're punching, not just spinning your arms around; using force takes it up a level.
