The weather channel sells fear. Remember that the weather channel is a tv station and they sell drama for ratings and viewers at the expense of people's livelihoods. There's no accuracy when it comes to their reporting and they always skew their numbers to the higher end and they are never accurate. Example they'll forecast a foot of snow and the town will get a dusting. They sell drama for ratings! If you want a accurate report with factual reporting turn to a local weather station

I am here today on behalf of The Weather Channel to testify about the increasing impacts of climate change on the agricultural and rural communities of the United States, as well as the impact on the entire U.S. population. Our job is to prepare Americans for these difficult times and help them navigate our changing Earth. Our responsibility as scientists is to follow the data. We are on the side of the American people, and it is up to us to explain the science in plain terms. - Jim Cantore statement before US congress in 2021

The newly found independence for 20th-century Africans brought about significant political, economic, and social changes. Politically, many African nations transitioned from colonial rule to independent governance, often adopting democratic systems. Economically, some countries experienced growth and development, while others faced challenges such as poverty and corruption. Socially, Africans endeavored to reclaim and celebrate their cultural identities, though issues like gender inequality persisted. Overall, the journey of "free" Africa has been a mix of progress and setbacks, reflecting the complexities of nation-building and societal transformation.

Maybe if he didn't stand knee deep in a ditch.. leaning into a make-believe wind..... When people were walking by behind him in casually in tennis shoes on dry ground. The weather channel is all about sensationalization that's it.
You will actually get better hurricane reporting from lots of people on RUclips who run weather channels..... Show you real time radar.... Storm chaser videos.... During the event.
Check out Max velocity-severe weather center. Forget the fake weather channel.

Let's hope Jim is not forced to stay and do reports as the storm hits. I have always said, news stations might stop sending reporters out in storms when one of them is killed. Until then, we will see the mandatory reporter trying to stand up against the rain and wind. I think these people are fools for doing these reports.
