Okay but to be fair they did rip off a lot of her ideas and video making stylization.
Here's a list of things Legal Eagle stole from Blaire:
      1. Using a microphone to record words. Erm you could just shout loud enough for people to hear? No need to steal that one
      2. Using Internet to upload videos. Clearly they were jealous of Blaire's internet use and couldn't be fucked to work out a shamanistic ritual to project their videos into the spirit eye of mankind so their wisdom could be spread through the aether.
      3. Using consecutive images taken rapidly of a subject then spliced together in order to create the illusion of movement. Okay, bud, this one is pretty obvious. You could just uh, I dunno, make an old master's style oil painting that expresses what you feel instead?
      4. Using patterns of sounds imbued with meaning in order to express feelings on a subjects. Everyone knows Blaire won language from Al'gumox the mouth of eternity in a bet and used it to spread awareness about predatory businesses. Language is hers, do not use it, please grunt, scream or shut up.

I got on Blair's bad side after daring to point out mistakes in one of her videos. That video in question, was one where she talked about these various wilderness camps located in Utah. She made some statement there about how what they were doing was illegal, which unfortunately for everyone involved, can't be further from the truth. I offered details that pointed out her mistake there, something she had repeated ad nauseum in the video with things like "it's illegal" and so on. I even went onto her discord, providing links to various Utah laws governing such wilderness camps, in an effort to point her in a direction which, at best I hoped would see a second video coming out with the updated information, and at worst would warrant an annotation somewhere about the mistake.
Neither happened, and the only comment Blair made was something to the effect of "Well it's illegal federally." However I pointed out again, that there was no actual federal law or guideline that governed such camps, and my reward for daring to prove her wrong, was to be summarily banned from her discord.
Thing is, at the time? I wasn't doing this to try to one up her, or anything of that sort. I genuinely wanted her to get the right information out there, and to help others better understand WHY so many of these places were located in Utah, where I lived at the time. Blair's reaction was more a case of "I'm right, even when I'm wrong, so fuck off."

I just wanna say that Oz is certainly not the only one to be manipulated by a romantic partner into being the "bad guy" delivering their abuse for them. I hope he never thinks he's a bad person for this. It is so common. Anyone can become the hateful messenger.
I was groomed by an asshole at 16 (dated for 3 years) and while that alone says enough about the person who did it, I was also shunned by ALL of our mutual friends because they thought I was a horrible, controlling bitch. Let me remind you that my horrible controlling bitchiness took place from ages 16-19. My ex was 28-31 at this time. All of our mutuals were 24+ for the entire relationship. One of those ex friends was kind enough to explain this to me after the break up, though not in kind words. I don't blame him for that, because at the time he thought I was an awful person.
It took me weeks to understand, because I was always ELATED to see our friends, but they somehow thought I really disliked or even hated them. It's because of my ex. It's because of how he talked about me, and how he relied on me to express all of his grievances. Because of how he made it so clear it was him vs the world and I wanted desperately to help him find the happiness I thought he deserved, so I never told anyone the complaints were coming from him. The people who I considered my support network, who made my miserable existence under his thumb bearable, my ONLY friends. They all shunned me and left me alone, without any help or support, in a time I was so depressed - even worse after losing my relationship of 3 years - that I had to call an old childhood friend I hadn't spoken to in YEARS to stay with me and prevent me from hurting myself ...
And I still didn't realize for months what had happened to me. Why all of the people I held dearest to my heart hated me, and thought I felt the same. I had no idea how I could have messed up so badly that not a single person in my life for those 3 years wanted anything to do with me. But it wasn't me. It was, and it wasn't. It's been over 5 years since that break up and I still get the occasional message asking how I'm doing and apologizing for what happened when I was a teenager. I suppose the facade slipped when there wasn't someone there to filter the hate and vitriol through. Or maybe it was because they found out how old I was.
Oz Is not at fault. He was barely reaching into his adult years. I'll be 25 next year. I feel both ancient and infantile at the same time. I feel like I've been through so much, yet I don't know a damn thing. You can never be too old to be effectively manipulated by someone vile enough ... but how young he was certainly makes it easier. How could he know to look out for the signs? How would he even know the signs?

They also are bigger, more established creators. That is the primary difference. Blair was clearly and inarguably a much bigger creator then Wonder and Oz were newer, less established creators (and, I believe, both younger then One Topic/the click), and both were heavily reliant on Blair at the time of the crisis.
It is crystal clear that Blair never saw Wonder/Oz as being a partner, they were useful idiots to her (from her thinking, not that I am saying they were), while I suspect she saw OT/the click as being more collaborators.
The thing about manipulators is that they seek out those that are most vulnerable, and almost always avoid anyone who is, or they perceive to be, more powerful or on an equal footing with them. Because, ultimately, the manipulator is deeply delusional in that they only view the world only through their eyes, and as such are desperately afraid that they will be out manipulated by those they can’t control.

During the pandemic, I started listening to a certain kind of commentary channel. Snarky with a discernible moral code. I enjoy my snarky bitches, so I started watching her Blair's one series that went after MLMs and what not. Ironically, I found her as a recommendation on Creepshow Art's channel. I liked CSA at first but one night I listened to a few of them in a row as I worked on a project. Somewhere it became obvious, she was clearly just a mean, narrow-minded person who liked being self-righteous. So I unsubbed, switched to Blair's channel and let it play for a while. Sure enough, after a long listen, I realized her content was vacuous (other creators did it better) and she too just had the same mean note in her voice. so I unsubbed to her.

But _then_ she was accused of having stalked a RUclipsr named EmilyArtful for at least 8 years (with or without the help of her partner, Anthony, who was Emily's ex). The stalking allegedly included harassing Emily, getting her fired at least once, getting access to some underage photos of her, and much more. CSA then tried to pin everything on a stalker of her own, but the holes in her story were too big for the platform to buy. She has since faded into obscurity. There are some detailed videos discussing this situation, I recommend looking into them if you want to know more.

1:30 The question about the effect by that editor was specifically about one that was used on the NFL logo in one of Blair’s videos, and it wasn’t for a Legal Eagle video, it was for a private project of the editor in question.
It was never about the torn paper and highlighter effect, she just THOUGHT that was it. That’s the most fucked up thing about it. She got mad at a wrong thing and completely destroyed her own career as a result.

When Blair dropped her response video, i was both confused and felt like i was being led on. I didn't know about anything that had happened on Twitter/X, nor do I use those platforms, so the only way I was gonna find out about it was either a RUclips recommended, a RUclipsr covering it, or Blair talking about it. And oh boy did it really feel manipulative. I used to watch her content and was a fan, but... Well why would i want to be a fan of someone who's doing stuff that hurts people while talking about companies that do stuff that hurt people and condemning them. Its a double standard.
If anyone you know somehow is only supporting her and is singing lah lah lah about this situation, i recommend showing them the Click's response. His response is currently the part thats most resonent with me to this day about this, ans i hope the forclosure of (im terrible with names sorry if im saying the wrong person) Oz's home.

What she did to everyone is awful, but one that triggered me the worst (actual term, not meme haha funny) was the accusations against Click. As someone who WAS assaulted as a child, making a 'haha free candy' joke isnt being a predator. its like 6th grade edginess that i'd expect between friends, not an admission of predatory behaviour. I'm usually not a 'it was just a joke' kind of guy, but it WAS just a joke. there are so many other things that upset me with her allegations of course, but that one just stuck out to me as the easiest one to put into words.

there are people out there “joking” about literally ra*ing children and describing it in details (as a “joke” ofc /s). there are people telling those “jokes” TO CHILDREN DIRECTLY and she went after a joke that is at best edgy and directed to a mature audience.
