It's funny you say that, because I had never watched the original video when it came out. I don't like that kind of content. But since I have to use it for editing from time to time, I've since seen it. I straight up did not know just how bad that video was. I assumed he just did his thing from like 20 to 50 ft away, and left. I did not know he walked straight up to it and recorded panning close-ups. Like I already thought him getting away with it was crazy, but now that I know the full context, I feel that way tenfold.

Believe it or not but when I was a kid I would cry about a dead pet (a parrot, a cat) but now I'm not very emotional about it. I got myself a parrot like two years ago and he died a week of two after I believe because of stress. I wasn't really sad but rather confused and frustrated. What I'm trying to say is that not everyone will go grieve about a dead bird or cry about it. This feeling of loss is more... subtle, I'd say. And no, I'm not a psychopath. I have empathy for human beings and animals

I think the point is his pattern of disrespect for the dead, even the life that is close to him or that he is responsible for seems like nothing to him. I agree that the Paul brothers have only managed to stay relevant because, as much as I hate to admit it, they're charismatic as hell. While I get the impression that they've never once felt sorry for the awful things they've done, they do a genuinely great job of playing the part and acting sorry. It isn't until you slow them down and really listen to what they're saying, or zoom out and look at their full track record, that it becomes more clear they're a sham. They have the ability to *sound* sympathetic, so the kindest and most forgiving people (and also children who can't fully comprehend how bad their actions are) feel like they *have* to give these men another chance. They give a bangin speech, they say exactly what their audience wants to hear, and promise something that their audience desperately wants or needs (companionship, a sense of belonging, and sometimes promises of financial gain).
The Paul brothers are the only RUclips channels I outright banned my nieces from watching at all years ago. No arguing no negotiations. Other terrible channels have all been negotiated and they need to understand why that channel may not be appropriate. To be able to watch, Rebecca zamolo, ace family sniper wolf and dhar man. We constantly use critical thinking when they watch them around me. These guys have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. No matter how much critical thinking we could do would save them.

Being that blase about the animals, I mean, it might be putting on a strong face (literally toxic masc - you see, men ARE permitted to feel things and show ii, don't you know?), but put into context - well, we have something along the way to socio-whatever. No, I am not some therapist - we are talking about a pattern of behavior that shows he REALLY doesn't care about the feelings and experiences of entities outside himself. Put another way, he would be a great executive in modern America.
One of my main issues is that every time something happens to his pets he says "I did nothing wrong". Which means he won't change anything to prevent the next tragedy, and sure enough they keep happening.
Oh yeah, his treatment of animals is extremely insightful. And disgusting. The same can be said for a lot of wealthy celebs, unfortunately, for whom pets are a true commodity. Trying to keep track of where these animals disappear to is a challenge.
The one (1) good thing he's done for any of his pets is the large aviary he has for his new parrot. It looks pretty nice. Hopefully safe enough to prevent the bird from sharing the tragic fate of Maverick.
Yeah his pet history is abysmal. If one pet dies tragically, it's sad but sometimes things happen. If it happens a second time, I'd raise an eyebrow but it could be chalked up to some really bad luck. But three or more?? The ingredients look so random?? 100% daily value vit A and E, 15% potassium, 30% magnesium, baaaasically no sodium at all... is it even meant to be hydrating? No clue what A and E are for, and of course my sodium needs are super skewed... but the balance of electrolytes here seems off.

This is RUclips's fault. They have a ToS, but they only apply it to small content creators. The big content creators that make RUclips a LOT of Money, like Logan Paul and Sniperwolf (And at one time) Onision are all given a pass because YoTube gives them a pass. It was only when Onision started drawing National attention to Yoube and his channel, did RUclips actually do something, But Logan Paul and Sniperwolf have violated the ToS MULTIPLE Times, and YT looks the other way.
In the scheme of things, Logan could have refunded every single fan that bought Crypto Zoo from a small chunk of profits from any one of his ventures. Prime, WWE, Boxing, Podcasting,... dude wouldn't have even felt the sting.

I grew up in the time of Vine, and I never really enjoyed the Paul brothers since they just seemed so fake to me so I never paid attention to them. Then, when I learned of the Aokigahara Forest incident, I swore away from even watching any of either of their content -- Logan because it was his doing and Jake because he was defending it -- so whenever I saw their faces I would just move to something else. Despite that, when I began hearing of Logan turning things around with a successful podcast and all, I was proud of him and how he managed to turn himself around... then Coffeezilla put out his videos about Cryptozoo. When all that happened, I wasn't shocked, but I was disappointed. Very, very disappointed. I can't imagine how actual fans of Logan's feel, especially with his current actions with that lousy "refund". Thanks for your reporting here, Jimmy. I just recently ran into your channel, and I've enjoyed every video I've seen of yours. You're factual but, when you're going to say something opinionated, you make it very clear. I lived in Japan for a bit, in the Mt. Fuji area (the city of Kofu, specifically) and we did a few trips to Aokigahara and generally the area around Mt. Fuji to learn about the history and cultures there. When he uploaded his Japan vlogs I was absolutely disgusted, but the forest incident...I honestly cant express how infuriated I still am by this, and by the lack of consequences. Believe it or not but when I was a kid I would cry about a dead pet (a parrot, a cat) but now I'm not very emotional about it. I got myself a parrot like two years ago and he died a week of two after I believe because of stress. I wasn't really sad but rather confused and frustrated. What I'm trying to say is that not everyone will go grieve about a dead bird or cry about it. This feeling of loss is more... subtle, I'd say. And no, I'm not a psychopath. I think the point is his pattern of disrespect for the dead, even the life that is close to him or that he is responsible for seems like nothing to him. Nobody is citing the one incident of him being neutral about the death of his pet (an entire cornerstone of his brand no less) as evidence of him being a psychopath.

I agree that the Paul brothers have only managed to stay relevant because, as much as I hate to admit it, they're charismatic as hell. While I get the impression that they've never once felt sorry for the awful things they've done, they do a genuinely great job of playing the part and acting sorry. It isn't until you slow them down and really listen to what they're saying, or zoom out and look at their full track record, that it becomes more clear they're a sham. They have the ability to *sound* sympathetic, so the kindest and most forgiving people (and also children who can't fully comprehend how bad their actions are) feel like they *have* to give these men another chance. They give a bangin speech, they say exactly what their audience wants to hear, and promise something that their audience desperately wants or needs (companionship, a sense of belonging, and sometimes promises of financial gain).
The Paul brothers are the only RUclips channels I outright banned my nieces from watching at all years ago. No arguing no negotiations.

Being that blase about the animals, I mean, it might be putting on a strong face (literally toxic masc - you see, men ARE permitted to feel things and show ii, don't you know?), but put into context - well, we have something along the way to socio-whatever. The ingredients look so random?? 100% daily value vit A and E, 15% potassium, 30% magnesium, baaaasically no sodium at all... is it even meant to be hydrating? No clue what A and E are for, and of course my sodium needs are super skewed... but the balance of electrolytes here seems off.

I grew up in the time of Vine, and I never really enjoyed the Paul brothers since they just seemed so fake to me so I never paid attention to them. Then, when I learned of the Aokigahara Forest incident, I swore away from even watching any of either of their content -- Logan because it was his doing and Jake because he was defending it -- so whenever I saw their faces I would just move to something else. Despite that, when I began hearing of Logan turning things around with a successful podcast and all, I was proud of him and how he managed to turn himself around... then Coffeezilla put out his videos about Cryptozoo. When all that happened, I wasn't shocked, but I was disappointed. Very, very disappointed. I can't imagine how actual fans of Logan's feel, especially with his current actions with that lousy "refund".
