Great video. Hope you'll feel better! If you have been an M50 owner I would skip this one. Enough with the M50 type frustrations and FOMO's. Save money get yourself the R7, the R6 ii a Sony or a Fuji.

The sigma 18-35 is an apsc lens, no idea why he tried to use a speed booster with it
What really sucks about the R50... and the R10s we have, but the R50 is the WORST at heat management. Even when I'm just using it as a webcam, eventually it will shutdown due to overheating. My office is a consistent 69 degrees F... nice... or lower... and this still happens. The REAL problem is when RECORDING... I can't get more than 20min of recording time before the R50s shut down due to overheating... which is INSANE, and I can't imagine no one could design a better heat-managed camera, and apparently this is a proper thing, all over the place, which is just stupid and nuts. The R10s can last at least 40min though at 4K, and don't really have problems at 1080p60, but damn.. those R50s are DOOMED.... unless literally no one genuinely cares or uses the video function, or just not enough for Canon or anyone else to care?? I have no idea. It's just dumb.
Other than that, the video quality and photos are exceptional, and clearly the best that I've taken.

When you read the articles from some professional photographers you will find the answer. As a M50 previously owner I have found a vast improvements in to R50 camera, from the M50. What I don’t understand some of those experts say the R50 is a beginner camera, does that mean after using this camera for about six months and become a decent camera user, you will have to go out and buy another camera? 😊😊😊

autofucus was slow because you was recording in 4k on the r50 and in 4k you get canon contrast system autofocus in 1080p you get canons dual pixel autofocus which is fast and instant.
thats funny , the cheaper by comparison -a6100 and zve10 has pdaf from the getgo

Where are the RF-S prime lenses?!!! E.g. 22mm...
what is the alternative to the sigma 16 1.4 for the R50? or should we just get a EF to RF adapter?
There’s none yet… Canon has disabled thirds for making lenses for the RF-s series for now

Hello! Can you transfer files from this camera to a phone via usb c connection? If you use a cable with two usb c ends, one connecting to the phone and one connecting to the camera. I do pictures in tourist areas and I print them on spot. I need to be really fast. My phone is conected through wifi to a printer. I need to transfer the photos to the phone via cable. Thank you!

I use a pretty old now iPhone SE, which I use for phone calls some messaging and taking pictures, so now I want to take better pictures, but also doing video, hence I was looking at cameras - now I am in the position of buying a new iPhone 1k plus or buying the R50 with 2 lenses for just a little over half the price of a phone I will never use 90% of its features.
now having watch to many Pootube videos I am trapped do I go for a Canon R50 or consider the Canon R8 which is a big step up - for someone new to video production - comes down to the question - will I get enough out of the R50 first before moving up to the R8 (or what ever replaces it in time) ? to many questions not enough answers.
The M50 was a great budget camera and I still carry it everywhere. But it has it's limitations. Time-lapse is frustrating on an M50. I hope the R50 actually ahs a time-lapse feature.
