Hey Felix from Golden sun. I loved your game as a kid and entered a drawing of you into the county fair when I was 16. Good to see you are alive and well. How's Wayard?
No hype, no over emphasis on price or materials...just pure enthusiasm and appreciation for knives, use and design. One of the best knife videos of recent history💪💪
I am sorry, but all of those spidercos with the plastic candles. I just can’t stand not one of them carbon fiber G 10 titanium all 1 million times better than that plastic crap
Most exciting knife debut yet. The intro! The collection! The hair! But seriously, your insight into what makes knives excellent is unique, informative and genuinely beneficial to the conversation. Instant subscribe. I can’t wait to see what you share next.
You're not only a knife collector and a user, but also a sharpening „connesoire“. Even people who knows sharpening do enjoy sharpening videos. Sharing your knowledge on this would make a lot of knife-fans happy. Thanks for all your efforts
I really really love listening to collectors explain the reasons behind their rankings and why they purchased a particular blade. I found my self agreeing and disagreeing throughout the video. Really loved that your focus was on the practicalities of the blades and not just the usual a regurgitation of materials & specs which really mean nothing. I admit I was hurt when you dissed my beloved ParaMilitary 2 but good news - I'll get over it. Sharp blades all.
Very cool having another spokesman from a company with no biases and a true knife collector! Looking forward to more videos, and very witty channel name 😀
I bought the Spyderco Watu based on your presentation of "underated" or "less well known" knives on KnifeCenter. I really like it, too. I also spent some serious money on a Arno Bernard knife with no regrets. Thanks for sharing your insights!
Really love this general well thought out overview of your knife collection. So much info to unpack. Will watch this or at least parts of it many times to come.
Seth, I was already a fan. You completely won me with this. I agreed with nearly everything you said. I love my Delica Wharncliffe. I agree with you regarding tip down carry on the Spyderco Military. Lastly, I have had more than a few CRK Knives go in and out of my collection. I was recently able to purchase a Large Sebenza 31 and I went with the Small Inkosi. For me, they are the knives that I compare everything else to. All the other knives are "in addition to" what I consider the best investment one can make when purchasing a folding knife. The Sebenza is almost as good as cash. They hold their value. I owned more expensive knives and was left wanting. I have a few Spydercos and a couple fixed blades on my want list. The only other thing I will buy are CRK folders. Your calm, insightful presentation is greatly appreciated. I will watch this again.
There were some major surprises for me. The spydie chef being rated so high. That knife with the massive fullers was a “what knife is that?!” moment. The OZ being ranked as low as it was. But gotta love this stuff. This is HIS collection and HIS list and I was here for it. Need to get me a Sebenza someday. I am sold. I own a umnumzaan but that will not be my only CRK now. This man LOVES him some spyderco, so do I.
Excellent video Seth! I wanted to comment probably 100 times but didn’t wanna miss the next knife while typing. So overall, awesome and I agree with so many things you pointed out! Best quote, “I would carry it more…if I had less knives”, I couldn’t relate more!
Hey man, what a whooper of a first video, and well done. Im 15 minutes in presently but really connect with your preferences and thought process. Spyderco is probably my favorite brand overall, and moki is so underrated. I love backlocks and Japanese knives. The Stretch and more recently the Leafjumper are some of my all time favorite users.
Outstanding, Mr. V! Subscribed and Notifications on! Bring it! Your insights are always interesting and informative. I love that you don't fear challenging conventional wisdom, or confirming it when you agree. Looking forward to more videos!
excellent "real talk" video......."a much better Seth than the other Seth on KnifeCenter, for sure". I didn't know you had all this in you. I didn't even like you much ...on KnifeCenter... now I have a whole different perspective. You are AWESOME.
That is the fastest I have ever heard Seth talk about single knives LOl. Him saying he needs to go faster to get through the video and then still taking the same amount of time on each knife. Cool collection. Thanks for sharing.
Love the video Seth. The content reflects how much thought you put into the list. It's nice to see a content creator that uses all his knives. It is also refreshing to have some light shone on some knives that aren't on everyone else's lists.
Chris Reeve and Wilson combat collaborating on a knife is amazing, both companies building to the tightest tolerance in their own respective fields. The fact that I didn’t know about this and Seth V is the one to tell me makes me less disappointed in myself.
4:20 I could not source a Hap 40 SUS 410 Spyderco for nothing. I ordered a grey Delica to have what Nick Shabazz had and saw the wharnrcliffe version on the site, back when Blade HQ had a brick & Mortar in American Fork. I couldn't believe it because it ticked so many boxes for me. They both came and i never opened the gray, but carried only the wharnie for over a year. It was my favorite and then one day I got a chance to get a HAP 40 and it was my favorite model! WHOO HOO! Now I also have what Seth V has! Coolness!
14:28 I did the exact same thing with my edc’s. I always carry (have been for many years) the same 3 (4 but the forth as only been added less than a year ago to the small select club) knives, sometimes all 3 at at time but mostly 2/3 comes out while the third is on the knife bench getting some tlc. Well as it has been years and I still enjoy them just as much as when I initially got them, and I don’t plan on changing for many years to come (I still acquire new blades on a semi regular basis, at least once every couple months minimum) but none have dethroned my edc combo. All that to say, I love those 3 so much, I have a new in sealed box backup, hiden in a safe, for all 3 (haven’t purchased the backup for #4 yet). Once you find what is perfection for your personal taste/hands/chosen use case and start carrying it everyday, the last thing you want is for it to be sold out or worse; discontinued, if the time ever comes that you need to replace it. By having a backup already ready to go, on top of HAVING A BACKUP READY TO GO, thus no down time, you get to drown your sorrows of loosing your favourite blade by opening a brand new one in box without delay.
Great video Seth! I learned a ton listening to you while you explained your thoughts behind each knife in your collection. Looking forward to what comes next! I am about 2 years in on officially collecting knives myself. Keep the knowledge and discussions coming.
Seth! Happy to see you on the tubes~ The set up looks clean. Had to mention… I’m a para 3 cruwear fan! I’d the straggler wants a fam in Japan, I’m the man. 🎉 looking forward to the next video and beyond! ❤
Glad to see the Socom Elite so high up. I paid that knife zero attention until I saw one in a store and decided to check it out on a whim. I was sold instantly
Great video man ! I totally agree with you on the Stretch XL G10 needing scales to match with its swagger. I made myself some Unigold fatcarbon scales to go full "Pimp my Knife" and can't say enough good things about it now.
Yo..sup Seth.! Found your channel while surfing, Was rather surprised but pleasantly excited especially with that Lovelace collab..! DCA must be jealously proud of your new endeavour. All we need now is for Thomas to review all his bar blades. There is nothing like a bit of competition in the knife community upscaling the quality & designs Looking forward to your giveaways (maybe)or even do a swap/sales episode etc. It's kind of strange that we don't hear "larger than average". Excellent vid mate. Congrats mate, got yourself a new sub from Christmas Island & Australia.
I appreciate folders, but fixed knives are my interest. But want to thank you for sharing your love of knives and collection and introducing the SpydieChef. I have been entertaining a folder that is salt water resistant and that knife is a serious contender.
I want to thank you for your amazing work on this project as well as I have ever seen in anyone's knife collection!! I have learned more about the history of Spyderco in this video than I can ever imagine. I have hated Spyderco knives for their shitty handles and the ugliest looking knives ever. I have recently broke down and bought a Yojimbo 2,Manix 2, and PM2 just to have in my collection basically to make comparison with most reviews on RUclips and shut my friends up for years of consistent harassment on my lack of experience in the hobby 😂. I have modified all of them to AWT scales and all the latest internals and I like them. I have to say that I give you some of the utmost respect for your collection and the dedication to the ability to keep all of them in the best condition of actual users and the perspective from actually working with them in edc! Fantastic video presentation dude! Thank you!
Recognizing the greatness of 2 of my favs. The Spydiechef, which it is 1000% time to make some in Magnacut. And the Presidio 2 Mini in aluminum is the most quintessential ‘knife’ feeling knife. Just classic. Bring back the aluminum, Benchmade.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, Seth! And I must say, it was awesome that there isn’t a single bugout in this beautiful collection of folders. I found myself agreeing with you on most aspects, like the pm2 and where it actually stands, and the Military being superior. If the Caribbean had a beefier aftermarket scales option, to give it a bit more rigidity, and thus, a better action and fidget factor, it would be one of the best ever! It’s a real miss, that no one has offered that yet. Speaking of the Military, and how tip down is indeed the proper way to carry and deploy it, a few years ago, I received one in a trade, and it had a deep carry Lynch clip, which sucked in my mind, until I tried it. It was a very noticeable improvement. Hard to explain but it’s better and also frees up some space at the top of your pocket. If you still love the Millie, I highly recommend it!
No collection is complete without a little Sanrenmu knife or two :D My first "quality" locking knife from some 6-7 years ago is a little SRM 6040 that resides on my car keys to this day. It is for sure my most used and useful knife (besides the ones in the kitchen), it came to the rescue so many times. Until I bought it, my idea of a pocket knife was either a swiss army knife or a rickety, wobbly fleamarket Chinese knife. When I felt that solid lockup and overall sturdiness of a such small knife, I was blown away. I was so frustrated I could not flick it open with the thumbstuds like I saw on the Youtubz. Bear in mind it is a stiff, tiny, backlock, but I eventually got it to flick out after many hours of practice, polishing the washers, tuning the pivot, etc. Don't get me started how my brain exploded when I got one of their 7010 Sebenza copies. After that the big SRM Land 911, the rabbit hole got deeper and deeper... To this day I have hoarded over 120 folders, from various brands and price points. Still, the SRM 6040 remains one of my favourites.
I almost didn’t watch this simply because it was over an hour, but I’m really glad I did. The highlights for me was the High position of the Enzo./Bisa knives. I’m in the UK so I have a number of Enzo PK70's which have been, and remain my favourite UK EDC knives. I have been collecting for over 50 years, and obviously have accumulated a lot of knives, but the Enzo is hard to beat!
Nice to hear you talk about knives. I like seeing you on knifecenter videos. I like DCA but I don't have meat paw hands. Mine are more like yours so I get a good idea of how they fit. Keep doing what you do.
Hey man! So great to see your RUclips video AND a collection/ranking video!!! Loved your perspective and collection. I did the same thing with mine, and my medalists are #3 Benchmade Bailout (aluminum, 3V, Lynchnw clip, backspacer delete), #2 Zieba S3 Ostasz (a custom with wide black g10/TI handle and a hollow ground clip point) and #1.....😊large 31 with a s45vn drop point and black micarta inlay. Peak user
Great video, Seth. Fantastic picks all around, it was fun to see the collection and here your input on the designs and history. And I gotta say I agree wholeheartedly with the top picks.
Best collection video on RUclips. I have gotten board with knives as of late and this reinvigorated me and gave me new ideas on things I might like to try. It is great to see all the oddball knives you have.
I've seen the Al Mar Eagle in ZDP-189 in a Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive version. I recently was going through a relatives collection and he had a lot of the old Al Mar stuff and they made some beautiful knives.
Wow, you have alot of obscure Spyderco models that I haven't even heard of before! My personal favorite Spyderco is the Canis. Im a sucker for a good wharncliffe and Im just disappointment that there aren't alot of other knives out there on the market that do as good of a job of being a tactical wharncliffe as the Canis does. The Yojimbo 2 comes close but the tip on it gets so thin near the end of the spine that I get nervous that the tip will break opposed to the Canis that has a beefed up tip on the end instead. Plus that Taichung QC really seals the deal for me choosing the Canis over the Yojimbo 2.
I just wish SO HARD, that they released Canis with CPM SPY27 and button compression lock! That would have been so epic and meaningful. That they didn't is largely why I don't think Spyderco is as innovative as they want to appear to be
EPIC intro! I love your taste in knives. We have similar taste. The Enzo Birk has always been a sleeper. Same with those Tom Mayo/Buck knives. I had one with the black Ti and loved it, BUT the clip needs to be flipped. Loved how lightweight it was with all those signature holes. Like you said, another modern run of those knives is overdue. Would love to see more videos from you man! I'll stick around for sure. Peace out!
Very cool to see you have your own RUclips channel now! Awesome video for your first video! It's already at 15K views! That's some great results (views) for your first video on your new channel. Great job Seth!
Great intro & thumbnail _&_ channel name.. outta the gate super strong! I feel like in a different decade you would have a pbs show haha, such a calm presentation
Seth. Thank you so much for a look into your collection. I’m a Spyderco fan myself, but nowhere near yours. My collection has a Scandinavian tilt to it with many fixed blades, folders and hatchets. Nice video. I was drooling half the time. 🎸🔪
Ok just to clarify... Small Sebenza 21 in 7th place (55:35), Large Sebenza 21 in 2nd place (1:00:08) and Large Sebenza 31 in 1st place (1:02:00)... Ok I need a Sebenza in my collection just for that reason 😂
I have the same spyderco catcherman and she has been my goto tacklebox knife for a while. It's a pretty average fillet knife, but she's an excellent all arounder for fishing trips, and if your out on the water later than usual the bright green scales are clutch (personally I wish they chose safety vest orange, but I just am a big fan of orange).
wake up babe I just found out Seth V from KnifeCenter has his own channel and has an hour long video of his collection
This was my immediate reaction just now
😂
Hey Felix from Golden sun. I loved your game as a kid and entered a drawing of you into the county fair when I was 16. Good to see you are alive and well. How's Wayard?
I'm up!
Yep !
No hype, no over emphasis on price or materials...just pure enthusiasm and appreciation for knives, use and design. One of the best knife videos of recent history💪💪
@lukescrase5134 💯 I concur
Not really.
Bro… best possible intro. You’re the man, Seth. I love that you have your own channel now.
I’m a simple man. Seth makes video. I watch.
I am sorry, but all of those spidercos with the plastic candles. I just can’t stand not one of them carbon fiber G 10 titanium all 1 million times better than that plastic crap

Seth V! This was the best “knife” video I’ve watched in a long time man. - pure enthusiast gold.
Please do more!
You're not only a knife collector and a user, but also a sharpening „connesoire“. Even people who knows sharpening do enjoy sharpening videos. Sharing your knowledge on this would make a lot of knife-fans happy.
Thanks for all your efforts

Seth has always had a super chill relaxing presentation style, good stuff!
Loved the intro, subbed immediately 😂
Yeah... great tune LOL
This was like a knife meditation, and I’m all here for it! Great video and channel name too
Very cool having another spokesman from a company with no biases and a true knife collector!
Where'd you pick up the Watu? That one's on my list for sure.
Really love this general well thought out overview of your knife collection. So much info to unpack. Will watch this or at least parts of it many times to come.

Very happy to see the Watu (so high) on this list. It’s an amazing knife and seriously underrated!
Hell yeah, good to see you on your own channel. And the name for the channel is smart... "Seth30v" lol. Perfect.

Absolutely love seeing the Watu getting its flowers!! It is currently my only spyderco knife in my collection!
What a banger of a video, was a bit disappointed that this is the only video and I couldn't binge for hours :D
You rock Seth, straight up!
I have been describing the double click on knives as a flam for years!!!!! I did not expect that but definitely enjoyed it!
excellent "real talk" video......."a much better Seth than the other Seth on KnifeCenter, for sure". I didn't know you had all this in you. I didn't even like you much ...on KnifeCenter... now I have a whole different perspective. You are AWESOME.
Nice to see you on your own channel with your own collection. Love the full length video format and opening scene. Subscribed.
Glad to see your collection man, always loved your content on Knife center. Keep up the great work!
Now I know. You could possibly have the best knife Chanel ever. Keep it up I’m onboard.
That is the fastest I have ever heard Seth talk about single knives LOl. Him saying he needs to go faster to get through the video and then still taking the same amount of time on each knife. Cool collection. Thanks for sharing.

great video, i only buy from KC these days because of the great videos you and david produce. Great work, successful advertisement
Thanks Seth for the effort you put into the video I really appreciate all the knowledge that your passing on.
4:20 I could not source a Hap 40 SUS 410 Spyderco for nothing. I ordered a grey Delica to have what Nick Shabazz had and saw the wharnrcliffe version on the site, back when Blade HQ had a brick & Mortar in American Fork. It was my favorite and then one day I got a chance to get a HAP 40 and it was my favorite model! WHOO HOO! Now I also have what Seth V has! Coolness!
Seth - that was a fantastic presentation of your incredible knife collection. Thank you.
At work atm so I can’t watch this but I’m gonna save it to my watch later playlist for when I get home. Hyped to see more content from you Seth.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Seth! Happy to see you on the tubes~ The set up looks clean. Had to mention… I’m a para 3 cruwear fan! I’d the straggler wants a fam in Japan, I’m the man. 🎉 looking forward to the next video and beyond! ❤
Most enjoyable knife video I've watched in some time. Bravo!
Excellent video. The Braginets design knife with the huge fuller is a Kristal Knives Aurora. Looks like a great piece.
Seth keep the content coming. You got strange likable demeanor to you.. plus your well known from the center... go for it! And great job
This is definitely a rewatch - when I need to rekindle the joy of my own collection ! Or just to recalibrate , excellent video!
I can’t believe this dude has sick knives and is a drummer I thought I was the only one and I do love me some flams😂

Feeling the genuine love for this crazy thing we do. Great video Seth. I started taking notes part way through and now have a few more to check out.
I like a lot of the decisions and reasoning to your collection. You're now the reason I want a Sebenza, thanks Seth lol
Glad you popped up on my my feed. Subscribed before watching. Great video!
I'm soo happy men , thanks for this content
I appreciate folders, but fixed knives are my interest. But want to thank you for sharing your love of knives and collection and introducing the SpydieChef. I have been entertaining a folder that is salt water resistant and that knife is a serious contender.
I loooove the StabNana! If I could find a yellow and black one, I’d buy it immediately!!!😂
What a fantastic video. Please keep it coming.
Its Seth V! And he's talking about his own knife collection! LETS GO!
I want to thank you for your amazing work on this project as well as I have ever seen in anyone's knife collection!!

Thank you!
Thanks for turning me onto the Watu. It is the compression lock delica we've been missing.
I was so excited when I saw Kbar came out with a D2 version of the Dozier Hunter. I tried to jazz mine up a little with washers.
Fantastic content, I enjoyed every second of it. Slightly different taste than mine and that's great. Thank you!
I really appreciate your insight on the placement you put on your collection. Thanks for sharing.
I love everything about this video. Thank you for sharing, Seth!
Glad you enjoyed it! Good to see you here on YT.

Thanks! I'll get to the fixed blades someday haha
No collection is complete without a little Sanrenmu knife or two :D
My first "quality" locking knife from some 6-7 years ago is a little SRM 6040 that resides on my car keys to this day. It is for sure my most used and useful knife (besides the ones in the kitchen), it came to the rescue so many times.

He said medium fancy!! Love it!!
IKR?
Nice to hear you talk about knives. I like seeing you on knifecenter videos. I like DCA but I don't have meat paw hands. Mine are more like yours so I get a good idea of how they fit. Keep doing what you do.
Absolute banger of a collection video! Easy sub and can't wait to see what else you post or share!
Cool video Seth. Nice to hear soem back story. Really respect you guys at knife center over blade hq by far. Atleast your real knife enthusiasts lol
I hope to see many more videos from you. I always find your opinions very interesting and want to hear more of them. Thanks
So glad you started your own channel….great list!
Damn dude 30k views!! Let’s go Seth!
Hi from Italy. Very good collection. I’m a Spyderco collector and i prefer the production 2000/2010…Chowke is fantastic knife, wonderful shape
This is a great knife video but also a great podcast episode you can just, sleep while listening
Great video, Seth. Fantastic picks all around, it was fun to see the collection and here your input on the designs and history. And I gotta say I agree wholeheartedly with the top picks.
My new favorite knife guy gets right to the point
Best collection video on RUclips. I have gotten board with knives as of late and this reinvigorated me and gave me new ideas on things I might like to try. It is great to see all the oddball knives you have.
Glad to hear! Making the video had a similar reinvigorating effect for me as well.
I've seen the Al Mar Eagle in ZDP-189 in a Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive version. I recently was going through a relatives collection and he had a lot of the old Al Mar stuff and they made some beautiful knives.
Fantastic video! Love to see all the different designs!
Wow!! Thanks for this video, Seth. Get those KC exclusive Olive Drab Alox Victorinox Huntsmans going!!
Debut vid .... nailed it!
Just a well done, thoughtful tour of an extensive collection. Terrific video…..thanks so much to the presenter!
That they didn't is largely why I don't think Spyderco is as innovative as they want to appear to be
Awesome channel intro vid, thanks for sharing -you have an awesome collection!
Peace out!
I like tip down, and appreciate companies who give me that option.
Very cool to see you have your own RUclips channel now! Awesome video for your first video! It's already at 15K views! That's some great results (views) for your first video on your new channel. Great job Seth!
looking forward to more videos from you dude, Great stuff
You made me laugh! I like how he added there was more in it than he at one time could perceive and avail himself of to appreciate.
Yeah it's a little unfair to compare it to EDC knives, I imagine as a tacklebox knife it's perfect
Keep the videos coming Seth!
This was really great. Thanks for putting it together.
that knife joker spiderco jester sprintrun is amazing little thing, I have been looking for something just like this and finally found it...
