Glad to see the PM2 in your list. First premium knife I bought when I first got into knives and it’s a classic for a reason. Still grab my trusty s30v PM2 that’s beat to shit often
Hey, I had the same issue where I was buying Civivi, CJRB and so on. I started using Affirm to buy the expensive ones. You can spread payments out from every two weeks or so to once a month for 12 months. If you do 12 months you pay a little interest but it's worth it to me. I still have 1,600 bucks to pay off before I can buy more lol. That way I could buy some 400-500 dollar knives and just spread it out for 12 months. Just a suggestion!
Thank you for your great video. I am Canadian too. Your choices are great except one for me. Benchmade are on my black list. Overpriced. They sell the mini Narrows 500.00 😱 You can get the Reate GTR for about the same money. Your knifes are fantastics. And like me, I appreciate that your put à budget knife in your list 👍🏻 I own some premium knifes too but 80% of the time, I carry my Civivi Qubit (for his discretion) and sometimes the Civivi Vision FG. Great video👍🏻
Nice list! My 3 favorite locking folders I acquired in 2024 are the Strider SnG gg hybrid, the hinderer project x, and the microtech socom elite drop point. Runner up is the microtech msi, shf warthog edition, and the Protech TR3 integrity manual. Happy holidays!
Nice, love the Kizer Invictus .Very underrated. The flipper action feels so good you don't need any other deployment methods. And I actually like that it doesn't have thumb studs. Been eye ballin' a Skaha 2 for a while now. Maybe it's time.
Dude! You are me! Revolving door collector! I probably bought 30 -40 this year, probably still have 15-20. But some of those will definitely go... so maybe I'm a bit slower to jettison. Nice top 10!
This comment had me curious, so I checked my spreadsheet. I bought 16 and sold 24. I have 59 total. Over the last 5 years, I've discovered my preferences and have started leaning into them. I buy less knives overall, but it gets a lot harder to sell stuff when just about everything coming in is my version of ideal. My goal is to end next year with 25.
Thank you for a GREAT video - I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and insights. Great collection too. Man... that James Brand Barnes has me in a quandry - I love the design, and I'm sure the build quality is top-notch. But that price tag is tough to swallow, especially when you compare it to some other incredible Reate knives (e.g., the T-1000 or T-6000). I hope you have a great holiday season, and I'm looking forward to watching many more of your videos in 2025.
The james brand barnes is definitely top notch. A friend has one and it is the finest made knife I’ve ever held. Better than a lot of U.S. made high end knives.
Currently, Canada doesn't seem to have laws restricting blade length. The import laws are very restrictive regarding opening mechanisms. No Out The Front. No spring assisted button systems...so no knives classed as Auto Knives. And no Balason/ Butterfly knives.
The handles on the Hawk and huntsman look very cool! Drop Bear has great action- It's too small for my XL hands, the Kaiser Escort and Begleiter XL are my size. Thanks for the suggestions!
The Huntsman is a must if you like larger knives. It is beautifully designed and you can still get it at House of Knives for $283 I think they only have one left very hard to get and it’s not being made anymore. Came out in 2023

In Canada i believe there are private Facebook groups you can join to sell knives. Kijiji works. I sell mine to a few good friends who are also knife collectors
Sorry Everyone- Number 1 knife is CIVIVI TACTICORIX not Vexillum, which is also a good knife. ❤
Very cool❤🎉

I stick with US made personally but companies like we, tuya and reate def are making some top tier knives
I'm buying the Civivi in a couple of weeks. I love your collection. I wish I could afford the more expensive knives. Good luck, my friend.
Yes the Tacticorix. Nice!
Walmart has civivi now

Qubit is so slicey! I understand regarding Benchmade prices. There are a lot of compelling competitors now.
Solid list

Great knives! All large high end commando style. Very cool
Great video. Happy Holidays.
Happy Holidays to you too! ☃️
I love the Redoubt with those scales! I like the original scales but those are really nice!
Those AWT scales are great aren't they?

Solid list. Just bought the Cold Steel SRK in cpm 3v and now I want a folder.
Wow! Nice SRK! Enjoy

CDN dollars yes. Benchmade Redout was $235 plus $130 for the AWT scales before import fees and taxes.

I could never put $400 into a D2 knife!
Fair enough!
D2 has a special place in my heart since my main heavy duty knife is the Cold Steel Leatherneck in D2.
Well done d2 is still my favorite steel.
cpmd2? Even better
Another Canadian eh?!😂
There are a few of us out there haha
