Hey all! Lots of bots in the comments pretending to be me giving stuff away. I’m doing all I can on my side. The only giveaway is on IG, I’ll never contact you from an account that is not Zac In The Wild, and I will never ask for your personal info. If you’re not sure shoot me a DM on IG directly.👊
Spidey flick the m16 please
🤨 how do you not have a K-bar???? Dude If you do not have a K-bar this is a joke.
Good thing it's pretty easy to spot them! 😅👌
Better than a studio space you don’t look like a rich bastard
Zach came from the Trades! He’s a legit hard working cool dude. I hope he does get a rich bastard bank account he deserves it.
Boy, this video hit me hard. You sitting at a desk talking knives... Reminiscent of the good ol' BHQ days. Which by the way haven't been the same since you left. Also, the other video of you and Jamie at the rally, good to see you guys haven't lost touch.
More coming here! Glad you dug it💪
This is really case of seeing with rose colored lenses. I promise you anything he does away from bhq is 100x better than when he was with them because he actually has total creative freedom now and doesn’t have to shill whatever that corporation tells him to
BHQ was all about the interaction between Zac and Ben. I like Zac's content, but really, it went downhill after Ben left. DCA's been eating their lunch ever since.
@@twatmunro I agree with half of your statement. In my opinion, (and I don't want to beat up on Ben) he didn't have half the personality of Zac. Think about it; Zac sat at the BHQ desk for a long time by himself after Ben left and he didn't need to banter with anyone because he was so good at "interacting" with all the people watching. This video is a perfect example: Zac held it down for an hour and a half. I would never watch a RUclips video this long! I watched the whole thing because it was entertaining and I've always been curious what those guys at BHQ were buying. Also, you are totally correct, watching Knife Banter now days is like watching paint dry. (that's harsh) (sorry Kurt and other dude with the beard!) I think BHQ should try getting those guys drunk or slipping them some mescaline.
Same feeling brother great to see your videos again I miss you blade hq I’ll here from now on!
Thank you all so much! This video is a long one hope you enjoy😁
We do! That was about time! 👍😀
Congrats on your 10..I mean 12k subs knife bro!! Top notch collection but honestly I thought the collection of friends you've made because of knives was more impressive. I mean WOW knife bro you ate a table of meat with the man himself&then he complimented you&gave ya a knife. I dont think life gets much better than that!! Killer blades&killer vid knife bro!!
It supposedly long because you have a bunch collection of knives. 🤣
There is a scammer on my comment who says that I won your GAW. Take a look please
@@lionknives3 i reported the comment. It gone away. 🤣
Awesome collection 😎 and yeah the benchmade puukko and leuku are awesome knives! The Collab was going to be awesome. It's a bummer it never came to a completed version. But if you ever think of something cool to Collab just let us know :)
You guys rock!🤘
Can't wait for it!
Awesome to see you guys on here! Your channel rocks!
Fart 💨 on Maarten for me 😆
Yes! It's a must see.
I’ve not watched a movie in two years, but gladly dropped 90 minutes watching a man I’ve never met talk about his knives and tell stories. Cheers.
Absolutely right, I totally agree.
Same!☮️
I think I speak for all of us by saying we really needed this video! Thank you Zac hope the house is coming along well
Coming along great! Glad you dug the video🤘
you thing , but you don't
This one sparks joy! Love how you actually remember the story each knife has and how you’re able to convey the emotion that goes with it
Lots of great people in my life tied to these knives🤘
I love that Zac just loves knives.. he’s not all into the hype. Just a down-to-earth knife guy, one of a kind. Carry on brother 👊🏼
This is exactly what I needed. Hearing Zac talk knives again
Glad you’re digging it!
Dude you have no idea how happy I am to be watching you again. Hope you stay with it. You can def make some noise in the EDC area! You have my support.
Thanks man!👊
Respect for how you keep you’re energy at the same level for 1.5 hours
I definitely started to fade at the end🤣. Glad you dug it!
Miss hearing Zac talk about knives. He still knows the industry and technical aspects of the knives and is clearly a knife user. You can tell he enjoys talking about knives too.
I really do love talking about knives! This was a lot of fun even though it was long😁
@@zacinthewild 😄
This vid is wonderful. Just hearing you over the years and “getting to know you”, and now talking knives again like back in the day. So many of us never met you, but when you talk to the viewers, it feels like we’re friends. You’re so humble, personable and down to earth. Never change my guy. Thank you for sharing this. 🤙
Thank you for tuning in! It really means a lot to me👊
It was great to see how passionate you still are about knives! I don’t know if you have the interest for it, but regular knife reviews from your perspective as someone who doesn’t baby his tools would be very welcome in the RUclips world.
I’ll definitely be mixing some in here!
@@zacinthewild I would like to 2nd that if that affirmation might sway what do and focus on at times.
@@zacinthewild I'll jump in and go for 3rd'ing! Real reviews from a real user... not someone who quickly bangs one around, or just unboxed it and sliced some paper with it saying "the blade is kinda sharp, could be better, etc... etc... "
Zac, I think we would all love seeing you collaborate with people like Lucas Burnley! Seeing the entire collection is a huge milestone, thanks for sharing with us!
I definitely want to! We’ll have to see what I can cook up.
Great vid Zac! Nostalgic of BHQ. Impressed that you knew most of the names of the knives and a story behind almost every one of them.
Did my best on names I think I only missed two🤣. Everything I have I either carry or was a gift so it’s bound to have some sort of story.
I have the Boker Kompact, also, and I carry it part of the time.
I was so stoked when I found this channel. Never missed an episode when you were with BHQ. Your an Awesome content maker and always so upbeat. Keep up the great work and wish you many more subs.
He left bhq?
@@cdiaz010 A while back, yes. Not long after Ben left. I believe Jamie left as well.
Thanks so much👊
Ya this is definitely where your skill set shines in terms of talking knives. Nobody else compares in these style of knife videos.
Thank you a ton🤘💪
Congratulations on the 10k!(13k now, nice!)
It’s been really interesting seeing the projects you’ve been up to, but it’s also nice hearing you talk about knives again! I miss those days haha
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity, and thanks for the various content!
Thank you for tuning in!🤘
I could literally listen to you. Talk about knives all day and all the cool stories behind them. I really like to go out of my way to appreciate the origin of things rather than just a finalized version of stuff that we usually end up taking for granted.
Its cool to hear your stories, some of which are from the old BHQ days. Incredibly, your presentation hasn't changed from when you were selling them which says a lot. Great video.
Second time I’m watching this video and it will NOT be the last! Love seeing and hearing about all your knives and hearing the stories and memories. Thank you so much for sharing your collection and experiences. ☮️
Congrats on the 10K.You deserve it! You are also responsible for my knife addiction, soooo thanks for that.
Sorry not sorry😁
@@zacinthewild I consider them an investment but my girlfriend isn’t so convinced😂😂 anyways man I’m really glad I found out you had your own Chanel I completely stoped watching blade HQ after you left so this was great to watch!!
Loved how the first few knives had scratches and looked like you'd sharpened a carpenter pencil with one. Love the knives getting appreciated to their fullest, which involves using them. Nothing against safe queens, but most of them were made to use and I love that you do that.
That is exactly where those marks came from. Great eye!👊
@@zacinthewild I'm a remodeling contractor. Most of my knives have those marks 😄.
Great to see you reviewing knives again! I second what everyone else said. BHQ ain’t the same without you. We’re with u!
I’m going to say something that will sound harsh, but I don’t mean to be harsh in the least: I’m SO glad you parted ways with Blade HQ! I still love those guys a ton, and I browse their catalog frequently, but it was just getting more and more apparent in the videos that you made with them that you were getting burned out. It’s great to see you being fully vibrant in your videos again.
But that’s just life. Sometimes our paths deviate in ways we wouldn’t have expected. Nothing bad with that.
Thanks Zac this is a video I hope everyone enjoys as much as I did. Have been following you since your Blade HQ days and really love the variations of your videos. Hope your home is coming along and can't wait to see more as you progress through the many phases of construction. Just a shout from Canada.
Thanks man!👊
You can't beat how he talks about knives! From pocket checks, to shot show! Keep it up, you're amazing!
Man, watching you talking about knives again has your boy feeling Melancholic! 🏝🍻
👊. More coming here for sure!
Lol..... idk why..... but every time I'm in a mood to watch knife content....I always come back to this video......I think it's cuz a few years back as I was really getting into knives hard...I was watching alot of your content with bhq and certainly have bought lots if knives I absolutely love on your recommendations...... so to see your collection.... as personal as it is...... and it's a very personal thing...... it just makes me happy to see other knife guys geeking out on knives.... you rock brother!!!!! Love ya man God bless you
Lol I remember the grocery store story 🤣..... when you first got your 4 max scout!!!!!! Lol 😂.................. you should tell that story again some time!!!! Lol awesome knife tho...I love cold steel
Still one of my favorite knife stories🤣🤣
It's all about the beans! 🤣
Wow!! Just wow! Thank you Zac! We all have been wanting to see this for sometime. But honestly it’s the stories about each one that I truly love to hear. Thanks again for taking the time, during your crazy remodel. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Thank you for watching!
Congrats on the milestone! I've always wanted to see your entire collection and it was worth watching the whole thing lol! Can't wait for that M16 video haha!
It’s going to be a good one…I hope😁
And yes definitely please do shop videos and new knife videos and restoration on your grandfather's knife!!!! Please do that one!!!!!! Id love to see that happen!!!!I restore old tools..... never folding knives!!! At least not yet... fellow carpenter here!!!I do everything really!!! Lol 😂.................. but heck ya brother love this!!!
Thanks for all the support! Definitely going to restore Grandpa Cranes knife👊
I’ve been waiting to see the WHOLE collection!
This is it! Minus one or two I couldn’t find🤣
You are the most relatable “knife guy” on RUclips. I also wear glasses and EDC a Compact every day lol!
I love the fact that your knifes actually have wear on them you don’t buy them and automatically put them in a drawer and forget them (like me LOL)😂
A quarter million views in a few months. I’m happy for this guy he’s worked hard and deserves the success
I would really enjoy a video on your book collection. And hear your thoughts on some good reads. Awesome video and knife collection. Best part is seeing the hard use marks on them and that you truly use them!
That would be a fun one! I’ll have to put something together.
Don't mind the longer videos when you have an awesome collection like this.
Lots of stories I haven’t told too😁
Zac, only got to watch this video now. Appreciate the sharing. Truly miss your Bladehq shows. Have not watched the channel since you left as your sense of humor and true appreciation for customer and product is missing.
All of the best
Outstanding collection! 👏
Thanks!
Yes, there nothing that can make a Collector more happy & proud than showing-offs, his/her prized and careful collections of stuffs... in the case knives. Congratulations !.
Wow! Just wow. I watched this whole entire video just because of how many stories or attached to so many knives. I loved every second if this and makes me want to do my own (but have no audience and probably wont have the time to gain one) but this is truly beautiful you having an audience (congrats on 10k) to tell the se stories to and share your love of knives with is truly amazing. Thank you for all the years of BHQ and all the countless hours of entertainment. U guys made me spend a lot of money lol so i cant thank you for that. But thank for the future content as well. Huge congrats and great work on this video.
Thank you on all fronts! Glad you enjoyed!👊
Zac, you must know that your BHQ videos were one of the biggest reasons I started collecting / getting interested in knives!
The way how you are talking about knives is gorgeous. Wish you million subs and keep going :) couple movies ago you ‘convinced’ me to Ben’s kickstart knife ,now the Gerber dual is on my list.
Glad to hear! I’d hold on the Gerber until you watch my review. It works great but has a few considerations.👊
Shew this was much needed!!! Thanks for doing this man it really brought me back to some good days, all though not that long ago it’s very much missed.
It’s always fun to see the differences in peoples collections. The variety of what strikes people and sticks around the collection. There are a lot of knives in my collection as well with a story/ history to them. Makes it more interesting and fun to talk about.
Coming to this video late but it's my favorite kind of content. A bit about knives and a lot about your love for your people. The MKM is stunning but your Gran's Copenhagen jack knife is next level special.
The Lynn Thompson story was really great - I was laughing as you painted the picture of you and him at the Brazilian restaurant.
Thanks for sharing the stories as well as the collection.
This was incredible to watch and I loved every moment of it! Each of my knives carry specific memories, so I totally understand the sentimentality of your collection. Thanks for this, truly was the best way to end my workday.
Thank you for watching the whole thing! Glad you enjoyed it👊
Much love brotha. Talking about your Grandpa reminded me of my Grandaddy who gave me my love of knives. Keep up the good work brotha I really appreciate what you do.
Love that you actually use your knives.
Zac, love your channel brother!! Keep up the great work, and I swear, you know more important people related to the knife industry. Take care, greetings from Southern California, this is Alan.
Glad to hear you talk about the f-16. That knife has been my edc for 5 years now. AKC makes a really solid and stylish otf.
I rewatch this every couple of months for ideas on new knives. Just took the Sheepdog XL (in carbon fiber handle) out of the box. Instantly in love with oversized folders!
I miss you buddy! Blade HQ just isn't the same. Thanks for making me jealous again! But hey, at least I'm slightly immune to it, as I always prefer traditionals! Great video, friend.
I have the same Buck knife in it's original sheath. I bought it as a collectible about 40 years ago and it's never been used. It still has the factory sharpening. Not a scratch on the sheath or knife. By listening to you talk about it, it makes me appreciate it even more. Your vids are great, TY ! 🙂
Super exciting to see the channel grow, I’ve seen just about every video twice and I’m so excited to see more in the future!!🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dude! Thank you so much! More coming👊
I carry a Kizer Sheep Dog XL as an EDC regularly. It's a great knife. It often seems excessive to people outside of the knife world, but I have often found legitimately practical benefit to the size and weight.
Anyway, thanks for the video! You've got an amazing collection, with a respectable number of things I'd never seen before, despite being a knife enthusiast and proponent for years. Please keep up the good work, and I hope your channel continues to thrive!
What an awesome collection and the stories behind them were great to hear! Congrats on hitting 10,000(13,000 now🙂), appreciate you taking the time to make this video and you have my vote on making a video restoring your Grandfather's Copenhagen😁
🤘👊
Hey man, glad to see the continued success with the channel. Hope the house renovation is coming along well.
Thanks! Moving along smoothly🤘
I just love that it’s a mix of EVERYTHING!
Found your channel via the "knives you do hand people" video and really enjoyed it. It was genuinely interesting, brought up interesting features of knives and differences in how people approach them. Not in any sort of a negative way too, just informative, curious. It was really cool to see. Then I saw the one on switching knives after 5 years, and then THIS one. I recognize some of those blades and even owned a few. One I owned and LOST (didn't remember I had it or lost it until I saw this haha). Really reminds me how much I enjoyed collecting knives and think I will start again. Especially after seeing the Dessert Warrior 🍩
Tip down only on that CRKT M16, that's a no-go for me LOL
Great collection of users and mementos man, very much enjoyed.
Definitely it’s only draw back🤣
love to see ya growing. 20k will be here quick
Thank you for the support🙏
Great collection buddy. Enjoyed the Lynn Thompson story.
It could’ve been all in my head but I feel like it was real🤣
Thank you for your time and sharing your passion !
Thanks for tuning in!
Love and miss you guys!!!!!!!! Like ALOT!!!!!!!I hope everyone and everything is going well!!!!!!!I still go back and watch your content!!!!!
Did not know you had a RUclips Chanel. Started following you on IG as soon as I knew you left BHQ just randomly saw this in my recommendation. As others have said…it’s so good to see you talking about knives again.
Glad you found me!👊
I appreciate the wear and tear on the knifes, shows you actually use them! Beautiful collection
Thanks man👊
Great to see you Zac, I was addicted to your vids at B-HQ, very bummed when you left. You are the best. I have been keeping up with your "in the wild" vids and I am enjoying! Keep up the good work and best wishes on the new house remodel. Take care my brother and fellow knife community bros and sisters.
BTW- I think the elementum is the best bang for your buck EDC as well!! Love that knife
Glad you found me here👊
I love your house as a back drop as kinda a seek peak at your progress
It’s coming along. I’ll have an update coming soon.
I’m so glad you are making content more consistently. You are my fav creator involved with knife industry.
Thanks! More to come.
adding a little roller on the tip of a pocket clip is genius.. well done WE KNIVES
WE always does a great job!
This is awesome! Just found your channel great to see you talking knives again, been wanting to see your collection for awhile. Hope you get a lot more subs man!
Dude! Thanks so much!
This was definitely a much needed video! As a fan from the Blade HQ days, I had always wanted to see your knife collection. It's awesome to see how you actually use your knives. (Well at least 95% of them. lol) Great video Zac and Congrats on surpassing 10K! Well 15K actually! lol
Thank you so much👊
The fact that there’s a story behind most of the knives makes this video so good!
Dude, what an amazing video. Love the stories behind the knives, love to see the usage and character on them. Please restore that knife from your grampa, we would love to see that. I would also love to see a trip to buck. Great videos Zac and good job on whoever is editing them.
Jamie is the editing god here. Thanks!
When you took out this big knife, I couldn't help but laugh!😂😂😂
Awesome video, I loved all the stories behind the knives. Congrats on surpassing 10k and your new house!
Thanks so much!🤘
STILL LOVE coming here to watch this!!!!!! Miss you zac!!!
came for the knives, stayed for the stories. awesome video, loved every second. thanks Zac
Really appreciate it🤘
Love seeing you talk about knives again! Love the stories. Love the knives. Fantastic video. Watched the whole thing. Keep up the great videos. Love your stuff, Zac!
The Benchmade mini adamas with the axis lock will fall like the SOG you showed. That’s one of my favorite knives ever
Love the vid and the stories behind the knives . Please restore Grandpa Cranes knife, maybe do a combined restoration repair where you get Buck to fix up your canoe, repair your pirate pen etc. Keep up the great work
I got some fixing to do for sure😁
Haven't finished it yet but I love that so many of you knives have a story! That's almost non-existent on other channels! You are the G.O.A.T.
Thanks!🤘🙏
Wowzer! Zac that is a lot of blades! Thanks for sharing your collection with us!
I won’t lie. Took me 2 weeks to finish watching. But enjoyed it tremendously. The last knife made it so worthwhile. I can tell you’re enjoying life to the max. Keep going man.
Get this man a drink! You are a boss. Thanks!👊
@@zacinthewild Thanks brother. Same to you.
Thank you for your content. I’ve been watching you for years. I’m glad I found you here. Keep it up.
Glad you found me too! Thanks so much for tuning in🤘
One of my favorite knives in my very modest collection is an Uncle Henry Schrade folder that my grandfather had engraved with his name at some point that I was fortunate enough to acquire when he passed away. Beautiful knife and wonderful memories of a fantastic man.
Great one Zac you brought back good memories of Christmas time videos at Blade HQ. Yeah let's restore Grandpa Cranes pocket knife, let's learn how to fix her up! For some reason I'm in the mood to go buy knifes? That is one big knife collection. /// Peace
Definitely going to redo Grandpas knife! I felt the same after making the video🤣
Man I really miss those days those were the days that really got me into knives into where I am now in my collection especially with my knife knowledge I literally know so much Thanks to you Zac over there at Blade HQ cool dude with cool knives Can’t wait to see what you do next man I’m really rooting for ya!!!
Dude, this took me all day to watch off and on between yard work! Awesome! Loved it.
Thanks for spending the time! Glad it was worth it😁
incredible collection Zac - that grand finale knife was incredible, really didn't expect that. I also love how you had so many cool stories for many of the knives in your collection. RAD!
Glad you dug it!💪
Zac, I love your show and your enthusiasm for knives. Thanks for all your hard work.
Thank you for watching!
Zac, I started watching you in 2020 as Covid and rediscovering bushcraft and camping has my love for knives reignited. I honestly thought you owned BHQ. Your confidence and knowledge made think that way.
Then you left. I was confused. Then I found you again. Well RUclips thought I would enjoy your channel. They was right.
I really enjoy your videos. Your personality is great and not boring. Your little stories with each knife here is so personal and feels genuine.
Glad to see you back doing more awesome knife stuff. The pocket check video from randoms was awesome. Hope one day to get pocket checked by a knife person. Hope I actually have something decent.
Also you mentioned Kurt. I’d like to see some collabs with the BHQ guys. Maybe just Kurt. LoL
Thank you for bringing us free entertainment. Channels like this is what afforded me to drop cable tv. Appreciate you.
Edit: as a lefty I have the stock Buck 119 sheath. Doubt it’ll hold the larger 120. If it will fit, I will send it to you.
Edit 2: The XXXXL M16 is so cool and well done.
So glad you found me again! Also really stoked to hear I put some good out there. Thanks! I’ll check on those sheath sizes and may take you up on that👊
Hi Zac, I love your videos. My step-daughter gave me a tackle box for Christmas to store my knife collection which was previously stored in a cardboard box. Merry Christmas!
Hey Zac! You could build a leather over the shoulder back holster type thing for your M16. Essentially like a backpack for your M16 but it’s still viewable so people can see the awesomeness.
The Kizer Drop Bear with their clutch lock is self closing like that SOG XR you have. Love the Axis lock design and Kizer does a great job on it.
Hands down my favorite knife personality! Super laid back vid and it was awesome to see your collection! Gas station and all
Gotta have a few fast station knives😁. Thanks!
I love how all your knives are used and have character. Congrats, hope your channel keeps growing
Thanks for tuning in!
