I think the reason people hate Pokestar is the fact you have to do the tutorial all over again on each playthrough. And considering BW2 are some of the best, it sours the experience of replaying the game a lot. Especially on a Nuzlock.
I ignored PokéStar on my first BW2 playthrough. then I got into it on my second and I ended up absolutely LOVING it, easily THE best side content along Pokéathlon and maybe Contests. CRIMINALLY underrated.
Plus... really... Lucrative Business... You can get a LOT of money items from the guests. For just easily getting the first story I can reel in a ton of Moomoo Milks, Hyper Potions, Lava Cookies and 2 Big Pearls.
Man, I loved the Pokéstar Studios content, but it certainly has its rough edges. I remember one scene I was doing that was going perfectly fine, everything was great, followed the story, but by chance got crit on a turn where they usually attack one more time next turn, then after stop attacking so you can finish the movie. The movie just got cut there and that was it... Lmao
I honestly liked the concept. It was definitely fun to play, my problem is that the levels were all over the place so you couldn't always use your own pokemon. That said, it was definitely a great way to farm items
No, not at all. I went to school for theater and have had a lot of voice training but my training is more for stage and film acting and I’m still working towards mastery of narration. My goal is to sound more “character like” as opposed to “announcer.” What part of it sounds like that? I’d appreciate the feedback! Always looking to improve!
@eclipses3131 May be sluggish but they had their upsides! Firstly the plot was great... for a pokemon game that is! Secondly the music was amazing and finally they seemed like the last Games game freak genuinely tried with. Those games pushed the 3ds to its limits!
@Shyguy2434 I mean how in gen 3 you could skip the building entirely and gen 4 you only had to go there to see fantina. I didn't get the complaint until I had to do mantyne surfing. Didn't like it and kept fumbling but it was required so I had to keep doing it and it was a bad time
@nellewoodruff6337 yeah but ya can't really fumble at the pokestar studios first time round and it builds on Roxies character. I really don't mind it! Also it updates ya on Brycen after the 2 year gap which really shows how much things have changed!
Dan scizor always acted really weird on set and would have a lot of wierd shots with us showing our feet

Yes. It really messes up the early game especially because you can really only do the movie one way so it’s always the same

It always bothered me that the VIP Dressing Room which you unlock after getting good ending on every movie has absolutely nothing special in it
I love poke star studio it was really fun for me I went to come back but I didn't make it bigger than what I went it
