Yeah a lot of setting up, and might read better AFTER book 5 comes out.
I loved Rhythm of War as well. It’s my second favorite SLA book.
Really enjoyed the will of the many, and looking forward to the series continuing.
I think I'm an outlier, but House of Chains is likely in my top 10. Definitely top 20.
Absolutely love the extended Karsa Orlong POV. One of my favourite characters.

The Felisin / Tavore ending was very very hard to read. What a book. What a series. No.1.
Perhaps the later Wandering Inn books will have those higher places the next time you do this. Did you say your plan is to do a Top 100 every two years? And don't forget the INCREDIBLE audiobooks!!! They go on sale somewhat regularly for $6.99 or $7.99 for 30-42 HOURS!! 😮 That's insanely resonable too!

No question Rothfuss' prose is excellent. However, some people find the main character to be Gary Stu.
I never understood how people think Kvothe is a Gary Stu. Is he good? Yeah, of course he is. There's also a plethora of examples of him screwing things up and making incredibly poor choices.
@@joshhall1967 fully agree with both, and even if you think he is a little too "over powered", is it not entertaining as hell?

Honestly pretty surprised you rated Reaper higher than The Will of The Many. I've read both, but i would say TWoTM is a lot better!
Can someone please explain to me why these reviewers never give a short summary of the book?? After every book I have to pause and go to Goodreads just to see what the book is even about. Wouldn't it make sense, that since you've already read the book that you just give a short description along with your review.....

House of chains by Erickson is a terrible book. Amazingly boring and slow. Hated it. Made me give up the series.
Wouldn't go so far, but yeah for me it's also one of the two weakest in the series. And it didn't help that it came after one of the best...
