Loved the video. I can’t wait for your reviews. Some of the books sound so interesting. I picked up the last two books in the Magnolia Parks series, haven’t started them yet. I also grabbed Hyperion and Snow Crash. I am finally out of my slump. I started The Bound and the Broken series and I’m really enjoying it so far. I hope you have a great weekend.

I love sci-fi so I'm definitely going to pickup Three Body Problem. I read the synopsis and it sounds interesting. I am wavering on the Dune set simply because I loved the original so much. Maybe ... we shall see :) Thanks again for the video.

I don’t really read sci fi. Touches of it here and there in other books. And there’s the really popular ones that have been written in more modern times that I think I’ll pick up at some point. But I’m just here to listen to you talk about sci fi books with no commitment. (In the least creepy way possible, promise.) it’s not that I think you dumb it down, I just think you have gift for putting it into terms for other’s to understand and when we can understand something then we can get excited about it too. ❤

Empire of Exiles is an amazing series!! Book 2, Relics of Ruin just came out and I finished it this week. 5 stars!! I hope you have a chance to read it!!

I bet you got Empire of Exiles and Engines of Empire mixed up! I do that too 😆 They came out at the same time with similar titles. I have read Engines but really love Exiles. The mystery is real fast paced. And the audio book is good! I'm rereading and enjoying it 😊
Dragonfruit is super fun too. It is much more cozy vibes than you might think. I liked it as well.

Having a small TBR is my goal - but first I have to get through my veryyyyyyy long list of all the essential backlist fantasy series 😅 Current priorities are finishing Empire of Silence and ACOMF. Then getting to Mistborn 3, Magnolia Parks The Long Way Home & ACOWR. After that … hopefully going to be starting either The First Law or diving into Robin Hobb. Phew

I just read Dragonfruit! loved how it's based on South Pacific/Island mythology. All the seadragons and cool way they incorporated animal companions. it's a very sweet story.

You won’t like the Once Upon a broken heart series if you didn’t like the first series. This series is another one that’s absolutely overhyped in my opinion. The first book was good, the second just okay and the third horribly boring. 😴 snooze fest. And don’t get me started on the ending … not worth the time.
I keep hearing the exact opposite 😊
