I was in established labour for 24 hours with my son, it was very medicated and I didn't like it one bit, I was stressed and panicked. This time I'm only 11 weeks with my rainbow baby and I am already practising alot with hypnobirthing. I can't wait, super exciting. X

Hello, I’m only 5 weeks pregnant but am feeling as excited and in love as I want to be and take things step by step.. I’m already looking into hypnobirthing as I have had some amazing experiences through meditation and have come to understand the power behind each one of us and our mind and how we can connect to our body and beyond. Someone here mentioned your book and I’m just wondering what the books name is so I a buy it? Thank you xx

Hello Katherine I just wanted to let you know that without any research without any asking anyone about labour or pregnancy (only reading up hw my baby is developing as each week had gone) I did not realise that instinctively I was doing hypnobirthing. Now I am a secondary teacher. I was an A* student throughout school so you would think I will do research on labour. Nope. I trusted my body. I had little support from my family friends and birth partner and let go and relied on my body. I must admit there was a stage the midwife said to push and I did and it didn’t feel natural at all but I felt like I had to do it as she had asked. I was really lucky I suppose but now looking into hypnobirthing for my second birth I am realising how REAL all of these techniques are by pure animalistic instinct!

When I was in established labour no one believed me. They looked at me like I’m naive. When I gave birth people thought I was visiting a new mum when I went to have a shower and tried to tell me that it’s for patients only. This is without even knowing that there are different types of ways to give birth. All I knew was on bed with legs up!

When you go into hospital, if you don't know your options you don't have any.

Thank you for your kind words. It is a privilege to teach KGHypnobirthing knowing the difference it makes to the lives of women and their babies. The work is done in the practice you do at home, so please take this seriously and practise regularly. It's only about 10 - 15 minutes a day, which is a small investment to make for a wonderful and empowering birth and the future of your baby.
