I'm due with my 3rd in about 2.5 weeks and I'm nervous as heck. Thank God I came across this video for different positions I had no idea about. Will be trying some since I want to avoid the epidural at all costs this time. Thanks for the video! So much information 😊
Watching this as a Grandma to be! I sent the video to my daughter who is due July 10th for her firstborn. I never had this type of instruction, so this is a blessing for my girl to birth her daughter. Thank you!
I’m due with my 7th baby and I’ve had everything from hospital, water birth, home birth, posterior, to c-section with my 6th almost 6 years ago because of being breach. Now going for a VBAC at a hospital with a supportive team that will even deliver breach. Your videos have been very helpful! I tried spinning babies to flip my baby, but he would not budge. My other babies would always change from transverse to head down in active labor. Even though I am trained in birth education, your calmness, tips, and the reassurance that mother has the choice is incredibly comforting/helpful. Thank you for the great videos!
🥰💞😘 Thank YOU so much for that wonderful feedback!!! If you feel like the baby has flipped to head down or your provider does an external cephalic version and flips the baby, manually manipulating the baby by using ultrasound and hands on your belly, then wear a postpartum band (obviously a larger size than what you would need postpartum) to try to keep baby from flipping back to breach. Wishing you the best of luck Mama because you can absolutely do it!!!
Great video. The lithotomy position is what I do during all my births. It feels good lifting my legs up while I push. With all the pushing you did in the lithotomy position, surprised ur water didn't break & the baby didn't crown
Great advice. I totally agree with you about asserting yourself about what position you want to be in. I gave birth to my first baby on all fours. It felt natural and opened everything up to let baby out, also no tear. Second baby came quicker and when i was ready to push the midwife and doctor started putting the stirrups in and I said "no I'm getting on my hands and knees like first time" and I just put myself in that position. They were a bit flustered but I didn't care because I was birthing my baby how I wanted. My partner was also supportive of what I wanted.
@@Moshito_mThrow the whole doctor away. You should push the way you want to. Not the doctor's choice. If the doctor does not respect your wishes on how to push, you have the right to fire them and ask for another doctor. 😊😊
I am due next month with my first baby and have been intentionally watching a lot of content on exercises to do to prepare for labour and vids like this one which talk about the difference positions one can opt for. Thank you so much for such educational content. I will be delivering at my local clinic which does have a good facility, but I have been realising that I should find out how versed are they with the different pushing positions because generally we know of just the one where the mom lays on her back. Thanks so much for these, I am super nervous but I must say that these videos comfort me a lot 🙏🏽.
Hi baby how are you doing now i hope you are really doing good you are awesome looking at you baby makes happy when I look at your picture it is beyond my imagination that a creature like you really exist like a rose you make the garden so beautiful You are a diamond to any man that have eyes to see goodness of a womanhood Baby am Ben easy going person very understandable Am a civil engineer and a contractor I work at so many places like Asia Europe and Africa I love art craft and I write music I like ideal people when I see your picture am impress I want a good woman that understand what real love is all about who will understand me and perfectly be for me So we can build our world strong enough to care for each other I want you to be mine and I hope to hear from you soonest thanks
Thank you! 34 weeks today. This helped a lot, because I was thinking about squatting but really don’t want to, so these positions showed me that there are more easier ways than laying down other than just squats.
Would you consider viewing RUclips video 'The free birth of our twins'. The vertical position ensures any poo in mum's bowel falls way to the ground, maintaining sterility of the opening to the birth canal. Avoiding tearing and cutting by 'Birth Canal Widening' to 10cm diameter prior to birth, by Aniball, Epi-no Delphine Plus birth facilitating devices or finger tips (Wikipedia UK 'Perineal Massage') or visit my RUclips channel. Thank you.
Great inputs, Haley. Mothers who has you as an attending nurse will be forever grateful to you. Teaching them to properly breathe through every contraction is a way to relax the muscles down there instead of tensing up. Babies come out whether mother will push or not. FER, fetal ejection reflex is baby's part of the birth process. This is possible when drugs are not administered though. So guiding them to breathe deep and long in every contraction instead of fighting the wave will help them progress faster actually than any drugs. Kudos to your heart for the mothers.
I live in Sweden and i give birth before 2 weeks I use all this position and it helps a lot . Thank you so much karolinska hospital Stockholm I really appreciate all the hospital stuff ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was very helpful and I never knew it was other positions besides the 1st. I’m 20 weeks with my 2nd baby but getting more educated this time since I’m a adult (was a teen with my 1st). Thank you for this video ❤️
You are so welcome! Congratulations! Education is so important, but make sure you're getting it from the right resources because the internet has a lot of misinformation out there! Check out www.spinningbabies.com and www.evidencebasedbirth.com
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 Really sorry for the question, but... What if a woman makes umm... poop while standing her bum to the doctor's face? What will the doctor catch instead of a baby? It really bothers me 😞😞😞
@@irinaberseneva9635one of the nurses I believe will come and clean up the poop, It's nothing to worry about, what to worry about is if your baby poops while you giving birth to it while it's still in the birth canal. I'm not an expert this is what I have learned from experienced mother's.
@@irinaberseneva9635 you can ask for an enema. Doctors don’t give it today, but they used to when my mom was delivering children. Knowing that I asked for one before contractions were bad. Knowing you’re clear of poo helps you to feel better knowing you’re pushing just the baby out.
Im 35 weeks and a day wuth my first and very anxious about the birth especially with my lack of movement due to my health issues. This video has been very informative and has shown me positions i didnt even know about, i only really knew of the first and the kneeling one and i know i definitely cant do the first. But the side one where you had your knees together but feet apart and possibly the kneeling one i may actually be able to do. So this has eased one of my anxieties relating to birth. So thank you for this video 😊
Great video I’m 35 weeks with twins and I’m trying to have a natural delivery for the first time. I had an emergency C section with my first bby. Plz pray for me
This video is amazing, I been planning and visualizing my birth plan. I been having the mindset of visualizing my labor like a long distance race, although not the same. I want to known my options, the resources available to me before the hospital and even prep by practicing poses before birth. This demonstration is just great to help visualize and understand how to push in the hospital. Most people are sitting in front of the camera, doing hand gestures and showing anatomy, this connects more with me. Thank you 🫶🤍
Great video I’ll try and use one of these positions. I’ll be a first time mom and my due date is February 8th of 2021. My husband and I are both very excited to meet our baby girl. 🤗❤️🤰🏻👧👣🎀
Oh shoot, and here I had thought that the squat was one of the best positions. I didn't know it increased the risk of tearing! I will try to aim for the hands and knees position, or anything other than directed pushing on my back. I'm only 21 weeks along, but all this is good to know early on!
I definitely will! And just to set up realistic expectations of a fast labor... Usually first time mom's labor on average 24hrs from start to finish, so if it takes a little longer than you were expecting please know that it's perfectly normal!
You’ve got it! Once you’re in your 3rd trimester eat 6 dates daily and drink red raspberry leaf tea! Both are great for your uterus! I had a 5 hr labor with my first child and am praying for another speedy delivery for my second now that I’m 38wks!
Using my boyfriends account but I’m due on the 28th and I’m terrified! This was helpful to learn different ways that can be comfortable for us thank you so much
Currently 35 weeks with our 5th, I’m super ready for L&D as you can imagine. I personally have loved all my nurses I had while in labor, ya’ll are super hero’s.
thank you for sharing this .i'm two times deliver my baby using technic position to the left and I push baby out when contraction... it's really help me ..I also two time incomplete misscariage...now I'm 41 and pregnancy 10w... please pray for me I hope I can deliver soon safely....
I'm due April 25 with my first!! I'm just barely 7months/28weeks! This is so helpful to get to see. I've definitely been wondering about being able to squat for my birth. Seeing this video is awesome
@@jessicaunderwood-cox575 yeah, I haven't done a ton of research, so idk if my sources are the best, but I've seen a doctor or two say that lying on your back is one of the worst positions to be spending majority of labor in
I am 32 weeks, and I am nervous about the pain and not knowing what and how to take control. I felt you were talking to me from the position where you faced the bed, held on and push and as well as the squat bar. I will be asking my Dr. at my next visit, if they have that in the hospital room. Thanks this was really informative, especially because you are pregnant , and in the field and very clear explanation. Thanks 🥰
This video was very helpful, as I'm due in 3 weeks and my doctor doesn't seem to be very receptive of non-traditional positions, but I think I can suggest certain compromises that I've seen here so we can both be more comfortable.
I’m very nervous about labor 🥺 I’m a first time mom. A lot going through my head. I’m due any day now🙌🏼💕 keep us in your prayers. And I pray I have a fast delivery
When you find your thoughts spiraling turn your focus to your breath. The sensation of your chest rising and falling. Go for a walk. Write down your thoughts, fears, concerns and then write down specifically what you want to happen. Once you do that, see what you can control and what you cannot. Write each thing you can't control on a separate sheet of paper. Read it then crumple it up and throw it away because you can't control it and therefore you have to let your mind let go of your grip on it. Let me know if that helps!
I’m currently 34 weeks. I’m due June 10th. This is my first pregnancy. As my due date approaches I’m getting more nervous 😩 praying for a safe delivery 🙏🏾🤍
I'm due 22nd and I tell you, the nerves are really kicking in. But not to worry, you both will surely make it out safe and sound. Sending my warm hugs 😍
Due in April and already feeling pressured to do it on my back.. I think it would be better as a 1st time mom to use gravity to my advantage like you did in the video. I’ll just have to be louder about it.
3rd pregnancy, 2 natural births no epidural by choice 😅. Breathing techniques works it really ease my pain. Everyone is different, I’m very in tune with my body so focused breathing and concentration worked wonders for me. I pushed both pregnancies within the hour. my doctor was like “my goodness Katherine you’re a beast 😂” she delivered both babies. Baby #3 same process it will be another natural birth no epidural 😂
I’m on my 3rd pregnancy as well. First came out 30min after water broke, no epidural. Second had some difficulty and was induced, no epidural. Plans for the third are to once again have no epidural and hopefully 🤞🏼 an easier time birthing.
@winry1028 what do you think made your delivery easy ? What kind of preparations did you make leading up to the due date ? Did you do yoga ? what did you eat ? I wanna know please
😂😂 Pregnant with bub #11 here. I've found on my hands and knees made Labor a LOT easier. But every woman is different. My tips are: 1. Remember your body was built for this. Yes, it'll hurt. But only for a short time in the scheme of things. We have extremely good medical care only a call away. 2. Breathe slowly and try to relax as much as you can. Breathing too rapidly will wear you out faster and increases your risk of needing intervention. (Forceps, vacuum etc)tensing up your body will also wear you out more quickly and increase your pain. Gas and air can be a great way to help you have something to focus on other than the pain. 3. Choose carefully who you want in the room with you when you give birth. The last thing you probably need is umpteen people in the room, tension or arguments breaking out. Don't be afraid to leave people out if they have the ability to make you tense up. 4. While I recommend trying to give birth without pain meds, don't be a hero. If you are struggling to cope with the pain, it's ok. You're not a failure or less of a woman, speak up! 5. Be kind to your partner and the medical professionals looking after you. While it's difficult, some of these medics have delivered hundreds of babies and have learnt a thing or two. Try and listen to their instructions and follow through. But speak up if something doesn't feel right. And as for your birth partner, husband's etc. Often they can't stand to see you in pain and don't know how to respond. 😊
I gave birth to 4 children using breathing, relaxation and massage techniques between 1982 and 1999. These are the techniques I used- thank you. I'm a grandma now and advising my 2nd daughter on how to use these breathing and squatting techniques to deliver her 1st baby, who's due to arrive early February. Not long now! 🙏🏻 Thank you for your video ❤❤
Thank you for the video! I'm super nervous already 😜 27 weeks left to go 😁 Fun fact tho, my last born is going to be 17 soon. This is going to be #5☺️. Such a blessing and a surprise

I wonder why the doctors and the nursing stuff never mention about these different positions. At least they should also guide in the same manner. Very informational 👍🏻
I am one of the lucky women who can push babies out no problem. My first pregnancy, my water broke at 1:15 AM and my daughter was born at 3:34 AM. I didn't have any contractions until my water broke and they started at 3 minutes apart. The Doctor barely made it into the room in time, but the L&D staff was amazing! I'd definitely recommend having a birth plan printed out so you can just relax and focus on your delivery with minimal interruptions. Also have a couple back up plans in place, just in case things dont go as planned.
You are what we in the field call a unicorn 🦄!!! Every now and then we see a first time Mama have this experience and it's so amazing! However, it's not the norm. Most first time Mama's are in labor from start to finish for 24hrs on average.
This is all in a hospital! You have patient rights and you have the right to labor how you want. Unfortunately some places my be a little behind and you may have to advocate more for yourself there, but hospitals are not prisons and you have the right to say no to anything.
Wow thanks for this video! I’m 38w with my second and was induced with my first. My hospital team didn’t let me do ANY of these positions. Just had to lay flat on my back and push. I’m kind of annoyed now because why not offer diff positions? Thanks for all this info and demonstrating
29 weeks first pregnancy and twin girls 😭I was thinking of doing the squatting good to know I should lay off towards the end to prevent excessive extreme tearing
I had my 4th baby 3days ago but I couldn't push lying on my back so I decided to push while on knees 2min push the baby was out because it was my baby my body with the support of oxygen. So far was the best decision I made happy with my son and some stiches

helpful info! delivering my 2nd child in 4 weeks, and scared 💩less. I think I have PTSD from the first delivery. and my 1st was a dream delivery! 5 hour labor 20 minute pushing. but still OUCHY, went all natural.
When I was in labor my SIL brought my son to the ER and my husband walked down to be with him until he went back home. So I was laboring alone for a few hours and at one point I was leaning on the head of the bed and the nurse came in to up my pitocin and she kind of mumbled but I still heard her. She said "oh great, one of THOSE MOMS" I looked at her and asked what the heck that was suppose to mean. She looked at me with a shocked/surprised look. I told her she wasn't my nurse anymore. She said there wasn't anymore nurses available. Then I told her I'd take no nurse over her and that she wasn't allowed back in my room. I was going to leave a review, but I wasn't in labor for long and had such amazing post partum nurses that I wasn't thinking about it when I left and I had forgotten her name. If she had asked I would've told her that I was having alot of back pain and leaning forward helped a little.

1st time mama here. Due next week.. lol scared of tearing especially severe tearing... so i want to make sure I'm understanding this, you recommend side pushing the most to prevent tearing? So the old school on your back with legs up, or squatting is more likely to tear the perineum? Thank you for all the information
Squatting once you're crowning is more likely to cause more tearing, but is a great position to help get to that point and then you could be on your back or side to actually deliver. Being on your back doesn't increase the likelihood of tearing. Being on your side helps to open the exterior pelvis, so you make more room for baby to move down and under the pelvic bone and at that point you can turn to your back if you want because the hardest part of pushing is getting the baby under the pelvic bone.
Cochrane Collaborate of specialist from around the globe produced a Report and advised painless 'Birth Canal Widening' to 10cm prior to birth, which should be achieved gradually and painlessly with birth facilitating devices 'Aniball' - Birth Canal Widening to 10cm diameter Wanda Klaman first baby 4.4kg born normally no episiotomy, 'EPi-no Delphine Plus' or using finger tips as described by Oxford (Wikipedia UK 'Perineal Massage') using the Plastic Surgeon's technique called 'skin tissue expansion' over 6-8 days. RUclips video 'Opening Doors For Baby to 10cm' is on my RUclips channel. Please view and share.
You got this Mama!!! Just take it one day, one moment or one contraction at a time! And think about holding your sweet baby in your arms at the end of it all! 🤱
I’m pregnant with my second baby boy I’m getting induced for the second time In two weeks and I’m still scared/nervous But you got this momma and congratulations

I am almost halfway to d-day and I want to have a natural birth on my own terms. I have scoliosis however not to the extent that I would need a c-section. What position would you recommend
This was great info and really empowering! Thanks for encouraging us to use our voices. I had a bad pelvic floor injury from delivering on my back with my first. I’m working on exercises and ways to deliver #2 (due September) so I can avoid injury. My docs have been sort of wishy washy. I told them I would like to deliver on all fours or on my side. I really would like to try the 3rd position you showed in your video but I will have an epidural. Can I still push to deliver this way as my choice and my partner will be there to assist in holding me if needed? Or will the doctor refuse?
I have a question: at the start of the video u said pushing while laying on your back doesn’t open the pelvis enough for the baby to crown, but at the end of the video (with the squat bar) u said it’s better to crown while laying on ur back and holding the cloth
Love your videos!! Question for you: can you push in the hands and knees position with an epidural? Giving birth in January and need all the information I can get💕
ABSOLUTELY! You just have to make sure you can still move and lift your legs on your own. If you can’t, ask the nurse to call the anesthesiologist to turn down your “rate” so you are less numb. Also, if your nurse isn’t comfortable letting you do that, you can also ask her to be able to squat with a squat bar. Unfortunately, with some nurses who aren’t very experienced they may not be comfortable or know what to do. In that case you have to advocate for yourself and ask if they can please call another nurse in to be able to help her. Then you get what you want and that nurse learns something new to help with her future patients! So basically advocating for yourself is also passing it forward for future laboring moms! 🤗💞
Im coming up on 22 weeks pregnant with my third and watching your videos to help me to be prepared on what my options would be in a hospital and I know every hospital is going to have different rules like I can only birth my child on my back but they will allow me to move around before and while labor is happening and they will allow me to have a birthing ball so thats good but I still need practice on the birthing ball cause I haven't used one before but still want to try it on this round.
You sure can! Your provider may want to induce you though because of the diabetes, so ask lots of questions! The exercises in the video are for while you're in labor for the most part, but it's good to walk, do light stretching and prenatal yoga leading up to your labor as long as your doctor gives you the go ahead! 👍🏼😘
Is it weird to call our hospital and ask what they have to offer!? I really love the bar & I want to use the peanut but I have no idea what they’re gonna have! This is baby #1 and I’m 35 weeks pregnant! 😊
Do you have any tips for feeling or knowing your pushing with the epidural??? Like how do you push, are you pushing like you have to poop, are you pushing like your flex by abdomen muscles ???
Great question! It's actually both! This might sound gross lol, but next time you have to stain to go poo pay attention to the sensations and what you're doing/ muscles being used because they are very similar in birth!
Hi Haley. I've heard a lot that pushing on your back increases a risk of tears, that's why upright positions should be preferred. You said that pushing in squatting position increases a risk of tears. Isn't squatting considered to be an upright positions that should be preferred to reduce the risk of tears? I'm a little bit confused:)

Yes, absolutely! You can even use the squat bar and squat with an epidural as long as you are able to lift your legs and push against the nurses hand to show they have full strength. You should always be able to move your feet/legs and change positions on your own. If at some point you can't then notify the nurse because she needs to contact anesthesia to turn down your rate.

My doctor said I don’t have a choice but to be on my back🙃

Watching this as a new labor and delivery nurse, this is so helpful! Thanks 💕
I loce how she explained everything. Well said... thanks
Thank YOU! PS. Your nurse should be explaining things she's doing and if she's not then ask lots of questions! 👍🏼😘

Congrats on your baby❤️
Not long!
@@calicairns5064 I started to go into labor early, I’m 4 1/2 cm right now and doc said that I should have home by next week😭
Hy, was your delivery easy ? Plz share your experience
Thank you! 34 weeks today. This helped a lot, because I was thinking about squatting but really don’t want to, so these positions showed me that there are more easier ways than laying down other than just squats.
You are so welcome!!! Yes, girl! You have options! 🤗🥰😘
Thank you!!! 💞🥰💗 And thank you for the added education!!!

This was very helpful and I never knew it was other positions besides the 1st. I’m 20 weeks with my 2nd baby but getting more educated this time since I’m a adult (was a teen with my 1st). Thank you for this video ❤️

Same here lol
Im 35 weeks and a day wuth my first and very anxious about the birth especially with my lack of movement due to my health issues. This video has been very informative and has shown me positions i didnt even know about, i only really knew of the first and the kneeling one and i know i definitely cant do the first. But the side one where you had your knees together but feet apart and possibly the kneeling one i may actually be able to do. So this has eased one of my anxieties relating to birth. So thank you for this video 😊
Thank you!!! I’m 38 1/2 weeks with my second and was not told about any of these besides the 1st position.
Good luck to you Mama! Let us know how it goes! 💞😘
Great video I’m 35 weeks with twins and I’m trying to have a natural delivery for the first time. I had an emergency C section with my first bby. Plz pray for me
Really helpful and encouraging. I’m having some anxiety rn not from thinking about labor just another mood swing. And this helped.
Thank you 🫶🤍
i'm currently 6 months pregnant with my first baby and this video was really helpful and detailed, because i will be so nervous once that day come😩.
Congratulations!!! Girl, you got this!!!
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 thank you so much!!
Really love this video. The hospital I’m giving birth at as the squat bar. No other birthing classes I took showed me how to use it! Two thumbs up!!
Great video I’ll try and use one of these positions. I’ll be a first time mom and my due date is February 8th of 2021. My husband and I are both very excited to meet our baby girl. 🤗❤️🤰🏻👧👣🎀
Happy due date!!!! 🤗😍💞
Have u delivered? Btw congrats!
Oh shoot, and here I had thought that the squat was one of the best positions. I didn't know it increased the risk of tearing! I will try to aim for the hands and knees position, or anything other than directed pushing on my back. I'm only 21 weeks along, but all this is good to know early on!
My due is nov 21 please pray for me to let it go fast and safe I’m a first time mom 😢
Mine is due 2nd nov and baby #2. Wish you all the best.
I definitely will! And just to set up realistic expectations of a fast labor... Usually first time mom's labor on average 24hrs from start to finish, so if it takes a little longer than you were expecting please know that it's perfectly normal!
I'm a first time biological mom as well. Becoming informed on the process is a positive step in the right direction. 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤❤👣👣
You’ve got it! Once you’re in your 3rd trimester eat 6 dates daily and drink red raspberry leaf tea! Both are great for your uterus! I had a 5 hr labor with my first child and am praying for another speedy delivery for my second now that I’m 38wks!

I'm due April 25 with my first!! I'm just barely 7months/28weeks! This is so helpful to get to see. I've definitely been wondering about being able to squat for my birth. Seeing this video is awesome
due April 23rd, also video did really help a lot as I've heard people say some labour and delivery nursers only allowing to push on there back
@@jessicaunderwood-cox575 yeah, I haven't done a ton of research, so idk if my sources are the best, but I've seen a doctor or two say that lying on your back is one of the worst positions to be spending majority of labor in

I felt you were talking to me from the position where you faced the bed, held on and push and as well as the squat bar. I will be asking my Dr. at my next visit, if they have that in the hospital room. Thanks this was really informative, especially because you are pregnant , and in the field and very clear explanation. Thanks 🥰
Girl, YOU GOT THIS!! Trust your body and know that on the other side of each contraction is a nice break!
Hi I am 23 and you helped me a lot
I am pregnant right now
This video was very helpful, as I'm due in 3 weeks and my doctor doesn't seem to be very receptive of non-traditional positions, but I think I can suggest certain compromises that I've seen here so we can both be more comfortable.
Wish my nurse was more like you! My hospital experiences have not been great!
Thank you to make this video,,, I have also delivery few days now only, plz pray for me I could do this, 😊
I’m very nervous about labor 🥺 I’m a first time mom.
Congratulations, Omg same here I'm due until January 9, tell me how it goes.
How was it?

I literally want to know how?
Geesh 😂
Pls share how to make it better 🙏
I’m on my 3rd pregnancy as well. First came out 30min after water broke, no epidural. Second had some difficulty and was induced, no epidural. Plans for the third are to once again have no epidural and hopefully 🤞🏼 an easier time birthing.
@winry1028 what do you think made your delivery easy ? What kind of preparations did you make leading up to the due date ? Did you do yoga ? what did you eat ? I wanna know please

Girl I’m 10 weeks pregnant and I’m feeling the same way. 😭😩
😂😂
Pregnant with bub #11 here. I've found on my hands and knees made Labor a LOT easier. But every woman is different.
My tips are:
I am 39 weeks pregnant and ya I agree and I’m still scared shitless
I'm doing embryo adoption. Praying we conceive through this miracle. And why I'm already looking at delivery videos is beyond me 😂

I wonder why the doctors and the nursing stuff never mention about these different positions. At least they should also guide in the same manner.
Very informational 👍🏻
They're not all trained in them unfortunately
Because supine position is the only position they are comfortable with in monitoring the babies. 🥺
Hahahaha I love how you described the doctor coming in. That's great 🤣
lol
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101Hi! When I turn like 20-25 years I’ll get pregnant

Wow, that's amazing!!! Just remember to focus on your breath whenever you feel sensations that feel overwhelming in your body. You got this!! 😘👍🏼💗💞
Good for you Mama!!! Way to advocate for yourself and not accept that terrible treatment!

I’m due in feb to 2021, first time kind of scared.
YOU GOT THIS MAMA!!!!
Any of these positions! And here's something I think you might find helpful 🤗😘. www.spinningbabies.com/scoliosis-and-spinning-babies/
This was extremely informative! Thank you

@@brandonvanderberg5465 thank you it means a lot
Being a first time and this video appeared on RUclips I want to say it was very helpful and I didn’t know there were a lot of positions for delivery
I have a question: at the start of the video u said pushing while laying on your back doesn’t open the pelvis enough for the baby to crown, but at the end of the video (with the squat bar) u said it’s better to crown while laying on ur back and holding the cloth
Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to prepare myself and this has helped me alot.
You are so welcome!! I'm glad it was helpful for you! 🥰💞😘
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 thank you!! ❤️
when you said "get a squat bar" I thought you were going to get a barbell from the gym :D
I’m in week 36 , having diabetes can I get normal birth? When should
I start labour exercises and this labour exercise you doing in the Video ?
You sure can! Your provider may want to induce you though because of the diabetes, so ask lots of questions! The exercises in the video are for while you're in labor for the most part, but it's good to walk, do light stretching and prenatal yoga leading up to your labor as long as your doctor gives you the go ahead! 👍🏼😘
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 thanks for your kind reply really appreciate

Which of these positions are suitable for if u have an epidural?
Is it weird to call our hospital and ask what they have to offer!? I really love the bar & I want to use the peanut but I have no idea what they’re gonna have! This is baby #1 and I’m 35 weeks pregnant! 😊
Congratulations!! That's not weird at all! You could also make a list of those questions and ask your provider at your next appointment.
Me watching this one day before my labour, please pray for me
This is very helpful but with my anxiety I can't see myself feeling better 😭😂am 18weeks today and am freaking out ash
You can’t do these with epidural, correct? Or is it possible
Most ARE possible with an epidurals long as you’re not to numb to move on your own.
Thanks a lot for all the info i need to know about pushing! I’m 3months preggy and i will apply all of those when it’s time to push!
Congratulations!! You are so welcome!! 🥰😘
Thanks for that information dear am 4months pregnant waiting for that day to come.
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101But in my country, doctor coerce to lay flat on table and bend knees, and even lay a long 'Fabric sheet on belly till knees' ony gynac can see our parts from other end while we are coerced to lay flat and look at ceiling whole time and not question anything, doctor only puts hands inside our birth canal, does not tell us anything abt pushing or baby progress instead lock our feet in stirrup and 'Strongly press belly unnaturally some kind of painful fundus pressure', pull baby, cut our vag with scissor and do all medical procedure directly on other end tge moment we lay flat on bed upon their coercion, that We cannot see progress of baby crowining, they will scold us, and shout with abusive vulgar words about our sexuality if we demand autonomy and self-dignity
Women here think that doctors pull out babies from women's still body, and not know that woman can do hard work to eject baby, when I say women need to move in labor to faciitate baby moving down canal, even 'Doctors' show disbelief, forgwt abt mother
Great video! Question if the side pushing positions are still possible with an epidural? The thought of laying on my back seems so unnatural!
I'm 33 weeks and 4 days today, due date is 25 December and 2nd time mum after 10 years , I'm so nervous
Please pray for me.
You got this Mama!!!!
I soon will be Having my first baby 👶🏽 We are having a young prince 🤴🏽 Due in April 2021.. I’ve been nervous and excited about delivery but this video really helped ease my mind on how to push and which position I think will feel comfortable to me
Congratulations!!! Yes! You have so many options!
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 Thank youuu so much!! Are there any tips on water birth I know I have thought about water birth but I haven’t really decided
Water births are wonderful!!! But they usually only take place at birthing centers or home births. Unfortunately most hospitals don't allow you to give birth in the tub 😩.
congrats!!!
Due date is tomorrow! Whenever I have this baby, I hope it goes well😪
All the best. Keep positive and as calm as possible. 🙏🏾
How did it go?!
Is your delivery done
I went over due ! My doctor has scheduled an induction tomorrow, which I really wanted to avoid :( , pray it goes well! (Last birth I was tramatized, so I really hope this birth is really good!)
Thank you Monifa for your nice words
