I'm due on July 4th and I'm a FTM and I was unfortunate to not be able to attend birthing classes because of this pandemic so I absolutely have no idea on what to do during labor. Good thing I came across this video. Thank you for this! Wish me luck!
You've got this!!! From now until birth no more lounging and leaning back! Sit up and forward. Check out the Spinning Babies "daily essentials video". Great info to get and keep your baby in the most optimal position for labor/delivery!
Who can possibly not like this video? People need education badly. These are great. I have had 9 babies and positions help drastically with labor! I also love the birthing pool to relax!
Had my baby two days ago and so glad I had watched this video! I was almost 12 hours into early labour, having 1 min contractions about 2 min apart for almost that whole time, and felt like things had started to stall and baby might need help to slip better into the pelvis. I tried the abdominal lift and tuck through 10 contractions (against the wall, while doing hip circles), then did the Three Balances from Spinning Babies (the jiggle between contractions, forward leaning inversions and side lying release through three contractions each). Literally a minute or two after getting up from the side lying release my waters broke. Things went quickly from there and I had my baby less than 4 hours later
Thanks! About to have baby in a few days. I appreciate your clear way of speaking, and also SHOWING how to get into different positions, instead of just telling about different positions for labor with and without an epidural.
Due in 7 weeks, like most women during this time I’ve had no classes so I don’t really know what I’m doing during labour, Thankyou so much for this I feel a lot better! 💓
The ball was my best friend during labor with my 1st. Spent almost the whole time in active labor on my knees bent over the ball! Halfway through 2nd pregnancy now and interested how it will go with this labor. Once the contractions got intense, I didn't want to be touched at all & my husband was so offended b/c I'd been telling him all pregnancy to be prepared to give me massages. He felt pretty useless. Hoping maybe this one I can get him involved more. He wanted to help, but when I was in pain, I didn't want be touched or talked to at all!
I'm 34 weeks right now, I hope it will works to me... thank youfor sharing this.. it's really a big help for me especially like me as a first timer mom☺️ cause I don't have any ideas on what to do during labor😅
🤗😍 How exciting!!! You can do a lot to prepare for labor now! Have your partner help you with the side lying release and the forward leaning inversion! Those are both really great for loosening up all of those lower ligaments and fascia and helping baby get in the optional delivery position before you even go into labor. spinningbabies.com/learn-more/techniques/the-fantastic-four/forward-leaning-inversion/
Wow, #11, congratulations! I am having #5 and due in 2 days and am needing to build up a little courage now, even though I've gone through this 4 times already...
U r great very confident its my 27th week and I can't walk I feel to much weight into my lower abdomen back pain legs pain I think I need some excersice. But have 0 knowledge about pragnancy help me
Hiiii!!! 👋🏼 Great question! The Novii is a great option! And if they're not on Pit or any uterine stimulant then you can also request intermittent auscultation and just use the US as a Doppler. Check your hospital's policy on IA, but they usually refer to AWHONN guidelines.
Tell your provider that you only want to be induced if it is medically necessary and that you want to give your body a chance to go into labor on its own as long as you and baby are healthy.
From behind? That's how we got into this! Heyyy oooo 🤣🤣 thanks for sharing ❤
Haha I kid! I kid! Lol 😂

Search "prenatal yoga" on RUclips, go see a chiropractor if you can and get a belly belt to help take some of the weight off. 💞😘

🙋♀️ hi!! Quick question, as L&D nurse how can I do this and still have a continue FHT tracing?? Do you recommend the novii? Thanks in advance!

How can we prevent being induced?
Tell your provider that you only want to be induced if it is medically necessary and that you want to give your body a chance to go into labor on its own as long as you and baby are healthy.
