- Have you taken a tour of the hospital where you will be delivering yet? During this Covid-19 pandemic many couples are foregoing the hospital tour due to unnecessary exposure to the coronavirus, so here is a tour of your standard Labor and Delivery department. You'll find out when to go to the hospital, what to expect once you get to the hospital, what to bring with you, where your partner will be, what will happen with your baby, and much more!
I really wish you could be my labor & delivery nurse! You’re so calming.. with someone like me with anxiety already you’re helping just by watching your videos. I’m blessed to have found your videos!
🥰😍💞 I'm so glad to hear that they're helping you!!! I'm sure you'll have a great nurse and an amazing experience! 😘

This was super helpful, I'm due in December and my boyfriend and I would love to go on a hospital tour but it's really not ideal for us right now. However, I hate going into anything blind so I feel much more prepared after watching this video. Subscribed!
🤗🥰😘Yay!!! I'm so glad you found it helpful! Thank you for subscribing! 😍😘
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 nononono I don't want 2 fingers up my vagina
As a Trans patient. I’ve literally been put in the maternity ward more than twice. JUST because they don’t have any other “inclusive” rooms apparently. But these rooms are like MINT clean. And very comfortable. A wee bit small. But such a quiet wing. More quieter than the wing my grandmother with leukemia was on.
* THANK-YOU!!!! MS.ALLIE
I am really hoping this is healthpark in fort myers. I was in antepartum for a month and love this hospital and the phenomenal nurses!

Nia, that is completelyI normal! Just prepare for what you can prepare for, get as much info as possible and remember you've got resources! You can always call your provider or the labor and delivery unit if you have any questions or think you're in labor. You got this Mama!
Thank you for sharing 🙂

Was this at emory midtown because I'm due in 5 months and I don't know what the delivery rooms look like.
No, it wasn't. Sorry! You can call the hospital you'll be delivering and find out if they do an online or zoom tour! Congratulations and best of luck to you! 🥰😘
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 thank you so much 😊
You are so welcome!!
Thank you for this info and tips.. I'll be induced in 2 days 👁👄👁
How’d it go?!?
It went well, I pushed only for 30mins. Only thing was my baby underwent a birth trauma and had to be in the NICU for 3 days. But she's been home for a month and a half now and she's all good ❤😊
is it ok to ask your hospital for a tour before delivery? and do every hospitals do tours or do it just depends?
I think a lot are offering virtual tours right now due to COVID. And it is always okay to ask for anything you want/need! 👍🏼😘
What hospital is this please
I’m so sorry, but I’m not allowed to divulge that information.
@@PregnancyBirthParenting101 oo okay thanks I am just looking for a good maternity hospital in America😩😭
What hospital is this?
It's a hospital in Southwest Florida
Watching this during covid no hospital tour for me 😐
I know that is disappointing, but I hope this helped you visualize where you will give birth a little better. 😗
Is my husband allowed to be with me for the delivery because of covid
19?
Yes! I don't know of any hospitals that aren't allowing them, but just to make sure and put your mind at ease call the hospital where you will be delivering and ask what their visitor policy is for labor and delivery and postpartum.
I am hoping this is Bethesda East
It's not, sorry!!!
How to get in contact with admissions for more information please
Just Google the hospital that you will be delivering at or call your OB's office to ask them what number to call to schedule a tour or get a virtual tour if they offer it.
Is this Galveston utmb location

Are you in Arizona?
No, sorry!
Is it weird that I'd rather the nurses take my baby right after birth, check and make sure she is okay, and then do skin to skin ?
Not at all! But they can actually do their assessment (make sure babies okay) right on your chest!
I need you there when I come in to have my baby in a few weeks lol
Which hospital is this
What hospital is this?
Unfortunately, I can't say which hospital it is, but I can tell you that it is in Florida!
