As a birth educator I found this a totally great video. I will share with my moms!
Thank you Ramona and please do pass it along!
Very good video, with some excellent practical advice. I am watching as I am going to be my daughter’s birthing partner. This will help me to assist her if she so wishes. Thank you for these incredible tips. I feel sure they will help her tremendously. She is just over 39 weeks, and she is hoping the baby will come sooner, rather than later. As everyone who has gone through this, knows, at this stage of the pregnancy, you just want the baby out!
That’s wonderful that you will be there for support! And yes, those final weeks seem to take FOREVER
@@birthtoolbox Thank you for your prompt reply. It’s definitely a case of, ‘it’s taking forever’. Her feet are swollen and she is extremely uncomfortable. She’s had enough, but he seems to be quite happy to stay where he is, at the moment. She has told him, she’s giving him an eviction notice, and he needs to move to larger premises, but he has decided to become a squatter, and is taking not the blindest bit of notice! 🙈🤣
NEW! I am a parent educator and new doula and childbirth educator. Your videos are helping me gain confidence in my new field!

@@birthtoolbox today around 2 o clock is coming out water is there any infection to my wife,or is time have birth.
Hello! I have a video that should answer your questions about water breaking ruclips.net/video/UTwa6Ae_bHQ/видео.html
I do hands and knees on my yoga mat with depends for my final push.
First few i reverse sit on the toilet to use it like a birth stool. Works well!
Love that! Great techniques!
Definitely will be trying these👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿! Great visuals! Thanks for sharing ❤️!
New...like the sitting on the toilet position
Going to try it. I'm Dakalo from South Africa 😅
Awesome!! Glad your here. ❤️
wow awesome
Hope it was helpful to you!
Hiii em 8th month pregnant listening to u...I am so sacred of labor it's my ist experience ..plz motivate me
Are you able to take a childbirth class? Education can really help you reduce the fear around birth. I have one you can purchase at birthtoolbox.com/ondemandclass .
New!! ❤
So glad to have you here!
Iam 41week qnd no sign
The waiting is hard!
I’m. NEw hear and due on the 12th ❤
Welcome to the channel! Glad you are here.
Please Remake one with real world scenarios.
1. Less flexible, not all mom's are hot gym rats
2. Sciatica impacted
3. Knee pains
I am guessing you didn’t get to see all of the positions. Standing, sitting on the toilet, hands and knees….these do not require flexibility. And the moms I showed were all different. I demonstrated two if the poses and am a not a hot gym rat. 🤷🏻♀️
New to your channel... I'm 26 weeks! I'm curious to learn about water birth, do you have videos on that?

Awesome video! Thanks much :)
What if my water breaks first? Is it safe to do all of these positions?
Yes, absolutely
New! I’m really enjoying your videos ❤
So glad to have you here! I love making videos and glad to have viewers that like watching them.
Is there a printable handout somewhere of all the positions?
I don't have a handout on the positions, but I do highly recommend this $14 parent workbook that has great pictures of positions and more! birthtoolbox.com/workbook
Wanna wish to attend ur live classes now mam...am in my 34 weeks...when is ur next live mam... please do share
Thank you for this
Thanks for watching!
Alice, I love your direct, practical, informed approach! What positions are acceptable for the pushing phase of labor if you have an epidural?
That's my goal! I really want to present practical solutions. For pushing with an epidural it depends on how much control you have over your legs. Sidelying should be an option no matter what. If you have control over your legs you can do pushing on your knees while leaning over the back of the bed and hands and knees.

Thank you a lot for this channel and your wisdom. I still do not get how I delivered laying on a back. This position technically counterproductive
Thank you for watching and for your kind words! I agree that laying on your back can be so much harder.
Your voice is so relieving
Thanks Melissa!
I'm gonna try doing some of these positions but the main thing is will I be able to do these when actual labour comes... What if i forgot everything because of the pain?
Write down a list or take screenshots from the video and get your partner to remind you. ❤️

Welcome!!
I so wish that when the Creator blesses me with getting this far along in pregnancy that I could have a home birth.
I’m on Medical assistance/ Medicaid and haha that is not covered. Lol.
But that is my dream.
I want to be and feel as free as possible.
I just pray if I am given the chance to labor(ultimately birth) that wherever I am I will be able to use many different positions.
Like, say if I have to have an epidural (which I would prefer to have an all natural)
If the case involves an epidural I just pray that I will have a few options and not just The ONE option of on my back with legs in stirrups or anything similar to that.
😍😍😍
Doing my homework.... although I've already watched half of these videos... I will rewatch for the sake of homework! I've been attending but realized I wasn't actually registered.. so now I am lol
Yay!!! My first homework comment from the December class. Great work Kayla.
What if your in the captain Morgan pose and the head is half way put, would you still be able to switch to the other side?
Yes!
Great video! Do you by chance have a visual with all these positions so I can print and take it with me?
I don't have a handout, but I do recommend a great workbook! I use it in my class and recommend that everyone takes it to labor. birthtoolbox.com/workbook
I didn't know the captain Morgan! Can sitting on the bed in a cross-legged position is good for labor? Thanks
Great question. I prefer sitting with soles of feet together!
New ! Could I do these all positions now (I am 36 weeks now) Is it too early or not?
Yes, it’s great to practice now!
All great positions! Thank you!!
Thank you! It was a fun video to put together and hopefully will get people moving in labor.
I'm new.....your videos are very informative
