Owning your power!! I feel as women we've been stripped of our birthing powers, birthing has become so medicalized and we're made to feel like we can't possibly do it on our own or we don't know what to do/how to do it. Truth is we have to get in tune to our bodies and souls and discovers what's right for us, as individuals! And believe in our birthing powers as our ancestors so easily did!! I wish I'd've spoken up at my first birth. Second pregnancy and hoping for a dramatically different outcome! :)
This is so good, in my first birth the doctors wanted to induce me and my hubby supported me reminding what I wanted, I asked for no intervention and went on to have a natural water birth.
So wish I saw these on my first pregnancy. I had quite a few interventions, and so many people back and forth. I just thought I had to go with it. I'm quite looking forward to my next birth now I'm more informed x
Love this! I realise this is pre birth but I regret being induced, after 3 days of discomfort and soreness with nothing happening i demanded to go home, the next day i went into labour, my intuition told me it wasn’t going to work, wish i said no and did nothing, i feel it all happened of its own accord when baby was ready, although then went on to have a ventouse delivery which wasnt positive! I hope if i ever am lucky enough to have a second child i can follow all of your amazing advice x

Why the F do they want to induce us all the time? Medical birth is ridiculous!
