30 Minute Intermediate Yoga Flow | Daily Yoga Routine - Stretch & Strengthen Day 18

- This class takes what we've been practicing up to an intermediate-level flow. In this class, I also offer an inversion practice time.
Based on your ability you can practice whichever inversion you're working on, and although I demonstrate handstand with support, you are welcome to hold dolphin or any other inversion that works for your body.
I wanted to give you an example of what our mobility series is leading us toward, and why It's crucial that you develop certain standards in flexibility for 'component parts' of the body before attempting more advanced asana. Let me know how it goes.

Now that's what I call a yoga class! I guess intermediate is code for "You're going to sweat". Still a little leery about handstands, I've never done it without someone spotting me, but practicing is good. Maybe by day 30.

Glad to hear your back pain is gone. I had lower back pain for so long, tried a chiropractor for awhile that only led to going to the chiropractor for repeat visits, no ‘cure’. Tried yoga and after awhile pain was gone!! Good for you Helena!

Really enjoying the series - anybody else not see a Day 13 video?? Today's handstand prep caught me totally by surprise and I'm wondering whether I missed something earlier in the series...
If you read the emails I send it give more insight into the videos. Day 13 was emailed to everyone who signed up for the challenge. We did hand stand prep 2 days ago. I mention in the video to work on the inversion that suits you and give several options for people who do not have this practice. I elaborate more on the email and video description

Nice energetic class - first time I have ever tried that balance pose around 16:15, leg up, arm out to the side, very cool. Loving the pilates abs work. Lots of variety in this class, really enjoyed it. Catching up on my missed challenge classes from my bout with the flu. Great to be back into the swing of it. Thanks, Tim 🙂

I've seen great progress in just these first 18 days with respect to my strength and flexibility, especially in being able to rise from kneeling to standing more easily.

I laughter out loud today because I just heard you say during day 19 or 20 that the key to getting better at a pose is keep practicing the pose. As a former runner squats have been my nemesis. Today was the first day I was able to squat with feet on the ground. I wasn’t even pushing myself. It just happened organically. What joy! Tomorrow maybe different, but who cares. I did it! Thanks Tim!

I had a leg injury and my doctor doesn't allow me to do yoga/any sport for a couple of weeks and I so ache to continue on the challenge! Can't wait to be able to join you again in some time! Thanks for the videos, they are peaceful to only watch as well!

Wow, that was hard work today!!! But I'm still coming back as i love it. Day 70 of yoga in a row and i feel amazing. keep up the amazing work with all your videos and tutoring :) I am still yet to get up at 6.30am and do my session b4 the kids get up and b4 the socials....... one day

Loved this class. To be honest I saw this was a longer one and with everything on my plate today I was kind of dreading it, but I feel so great now that I'm on the other side. Great mix of poses and showed me what I need to work on (forward fold with arms overhead to squat is killer--I need to do your ankle and knee video more!) and the progress I made (handstand felt so powerful--I'm still using the wall but for the first time felt like my arms were holding me up rather than the wall!). Thanks so much, Tim! I'll be doing this one again.

Whenever we do kneeling and reverse plank it's my left hamstring that holds tension. I tore my left ACL years ago and had it reconstructed but still gives me grief. That was freaky going up the wall so the instruction leading into it (including previous days) was really helpful. Cheers Tim!

Thanks Tim for the challenge. If I can comment on something, I do not like the reference on the Savasana video on the end of classes, I have to move up, stop video and lay back to savasana, which I fell like can disrupt my flow. I get it that without Savasana at the end you can get shorter videos, however it is much more smoother with Savasana already in the video. Once again Thank you! 😊

Practiced this Day 18 again after the wrist mobility exercise and this time I tried out the wall handstand. Baby steps with the pointed toes yesterday prepped me for round 👍🏾

Wow, I couldn't have done this on Day 1! Great progression through the course and I've enjoyed the interspersed classes for knees and backs, too. I tried the class for backs yesterday and it eased some pain that I hadn't really noticed before - that's got to be good.

Woah 😮, that was hard but fun. I could not practice yesterday, and to be honest, I was still a little bit nervous about doing this intermediate routine today. But keeping with the tenet of being “where you are and pushing it to “ a level 5” , and take it back if needed - I did it! ( thank you for having the wrist stretches for Day 19! )
