Just want to apologize for all the questions :) My husband surprised me 2 weeks ago with a Solaris Vision and I have yet to put even ONE stitch on it! I am afraid I will mess up my machine :) You ARE helping me :D

You won’t mess up your machine so jump in with two feet and enjoy the learning process. We all started somewhere but you’re fortunate by starting with the very best machine ever! Your hubby gets the best hubby award for certain!

Have you found machineembroiderygeek yet? Look her up as she has several lessons online that are affordable & step by step. They sound amazing & like you will feel accomplished (which I'm still trying on the ellisimo). What a sweet husband!

EVERYTHING we need to know to do this, thank you! Is there by chance...a photo or clip of the finished design on this? So very curious LOL

Hi Melinda. I had a hard time to hear your comments about the topper as machine was stitching. What did you say about that? Thanks.

Hi Ana! Sorry about the sound! The topper is a heat away. It’s important to use heat away so that it remains intact. I order for it to disappear it would have to come in direct contact with the heat source such as an iron. The heat of the washer or dryer does not effect it. 😊

I have found on my Meridian, that if I draw up the bobbin thread before I start to baste, it catches every time.

You did not mention how you have hooped this or what stabilizer you use for something like this.

I used wash away mesh and floated it rather than hooping. When embroidering thick fabrics it’s best to float and baste. The topper is heat away and will not wash out or disappear with heat as it has to come in direct contact with an iron, for example.

Floating means either hoop it by itself...OR? Stick it on a stabilizer that is sticky wash away? Or is that wrong? Thank you, I am sorry for all the questions! @@melindabigleysewblessed
