@@ThatLongHairMetalGuy I got lot of indie games and guess what I am also playing stardew valley on pc lol. It's so addictive. Do you know some indie diablo like game?
My only issue with this guy is that he talks about how PC and console gamers don't know what mobile gaming is like, we most certainly do. Everyone does. It was literally the first thing PC and Console gamers looked into when smart phones became a thing! And wouldn't you know it, all we found were scams and gacha garbage and we said "fuck that!" and now we're furious that one of PC gaming's greatest developers is now part of that blight on gaming culture. Sure, there are arguably a few gems that do exist and are well made, and have in-app purchases, but as games they don't hold a candle to what is available on console or PC and diablo immortal is no exception (being free to play does not mean a game is worth playing, by the way). Most people who play PC and Console games know what a good game is, and what scams disguised as "games" are, and have decided to heavily limit our involvement with that medium. The "You don't have to pay" argument doesn't change what the "game" is, clever wordplay doesn't make a lie not a lie. I don't know if he (who "only plays mobile games") has ever played a diablo game before, but some of us have been playing diablo games for over 20 years. We're not idiots, we don't need someone who's playing their first diablo game ever to explain how to gear up and get stronger, we know how Diablo works because it's the same as every other diablo game. None of what goes on in DI is new, fresh, nor innovating gameplay wise. I find his assumptions about PC and Console gamers pretty insulting.
Exactly. Gamers radiate toward gaming. We were the first ones playing flappy bird and candy crush - not these 45 mins a day moms. All of a sudden it's the biggest gaming platform and we're the ones being ostracized from it.
Naahhhh a lot of gamers draw a fine line between console gaming and mobile gaming. A majority I’d say. A majority don’t indulge in mobile games, so he’s right imo
No, there isn't room for both. Stew thinks the P2W model is ok because he can still grind away for free in solo play and insists that only PVPers are affected. He is completely oblivious to the fact that the grind was MADE to incentivize paying. Games cannot have a healthy effort/reward design balance if they are chasing whales.
I bet he himself didn't knew he wanted a war. But many people would like to see one, against certain companys and their descent into ever more shameless greed.

When it comes to being f2p in any gacha game, what it comes down to is your patience, and how well the gacha game rewards you for just playing the game. Not all gacha games are as heavily monetized as Diablo Immortal, some are even more monetized but what they offer you as f2p, are free rewards through events, different game modes etc. My point is there are gacha games that treat f2p players far better then they way Diablo Immortal treats their players. F2p means you are in it for the long haul and if it's a decently balanced game you will be able to catch up and fight against p2w players eventually. All p2w players would get is a head start.
@@piotrjeske4599No, raid shadow legends falls more in line with Diablo Immortal. Heavily monetized for p2w players, not many f2p events for f2p players.
@@olfan92 I'm not saying anything about how p2w ruins games though. I agree, it does. I'm giving a perspective of what it's like being f2p and playing these gacha games.
I completely agree. Yeah, some gacha games are terrible but others are plainly evil, and even their trash "events" can only be completed if you dump hundreds of dollars and said events last for like a week, so the fomo is real. I do hate pvp gacha games though, in the end you'll always lose against the giga whales that can get the best team in a matter of hours and wipe the floor with the plankton, myself included, getting the best rewards all the time.
From Stew's point I understood this Positives: The game has a lot of content that you can play (possibly for years), ad free and not paywalled. This is a good casual game, take out your phone and do dungeons. Negatives: You absolutely cannot try to be competitive, top 10 is always going to be whales. This is not a competitive game for free users, you will lose to whales.
You forgot the most important negative: Every single aspect of the game has been tweeked to make the cash shop more attractive to you. BEFORE you even load the game, your experience has been trashed by the mere existence of the cash shop.
@@ekscalybur I agree with you 100% but i'm also starting to realize that most gamers just simply don't give af about that. They close the pop up and keep on having a blast apparently
@@ekscalybur That is very true, my experience while leveling was somewhat damaged by the "800% value boxes" that appear on the alerts after you finish certain dungeons. I don't know if max level characters still get those kinds of alerts.
Idk if f2p can't be competitive, think it's still too early to judge either way. I've maintained rank 2 in my class and top 10 for all classes on my server since the game launched and all I've bought was the $5 battle pass. PvP is cross-server, so it isn't just that my server is lacking whales; it kind of is, there are only a handful of em, but again, pretty irrelevant to PvP when it's cross-server. Sitting at a healthy 68% win rate over 212 matches with more MVPs over whales than I've cared to count. If/when more whales join the fray over time, it may be difficult/impossible to maintain any spot on the leaderboard, but for now I'd say f2p are fine so long as they grind hard, play smart, build smart, stick to objectives over kills, and quit messin around trying to 1v1 enemies who are playing a class that hard counters theirs (especially when it's a whale)... You know, pretty much the things you'd be expected to do to maintain a top spot even in a non-mtx game. A lot of the skill builds and plays I see are beyond braindead. People think they're losing because they don't spend, but the hard truth is most of them actually just suck lmao.
I am a mobile gamer RUclipsr with over 150 videos on mobile games, but I can't even approve of Diablo immortal. They used every scummy tactic to make money from players which is just ridiculous. It's not even a phone game. There is no other mobile game that requires you to download 13gb to play it. I can only imagine how many tried to download this game and couldn't either phone was too full or they ran out of data for the month lol. Diablo Immortal is a cash grab computer game that they put on the app stores. They made a port for computer because they knew most wouldn't be able to play without a computer lol.
You go bro keep it up fight the good fight to help protect everyone and the kids plus I love the game Diablo we all need to team up to destroy these loot boxes and monetized game need to be destroyed we are behind ya
Than that would call for us not to buy anymore games then which will force companies to lose lots of money bc of greed I still remember when video games cost $49.99
Reminds me of EQ. The more you play the more it takes to play, every level is the level before plus some. Then add a few secret hell levels where it's like 3 or 4 levels instead of 1 to prove you are dedicated to spending money. It's a long lasting formula
I like this Stew guy after seeing him a few times even though I vehemently disagree with his opinions. He also doesn't come off as an asshole which is kind of refreshing on the internet. lol

I used to watch stew back when I played Raid shadow legends KEK. All jokes aside, Stew was pretty much the only one not afraid to speak truth about how shit some parts of the game were. Nice to see him getting some exposure :D
Assassin's creed Odyssey did something similar. Offered an XP boost for $5 so you didn't have to grind the side content because the main quest would out level you. Far Cry 4 (I think) let you buy ammo with real money for your helicopter if you ran out.
brilliant, can't wait for the video 'Asmongold reacts to Stew Gaming reacting to Asmongold reacting to Stew Gaming reacting to Asmongold reacting to Stew Gaming' video
I just love how it's "it's app gaming, so pay to win is fine! Those PC and Console plebs don't understand that this is how appgaming works!" What a terrible way to pave the road to hell. It's basically making excuses for extremely terrible anti-gamer developments in the industry. This is how app games are, they use p2w to finance more content. Well, that just means the content itself isn't worth paying for without the gambling, predatory tactics and huge time investment wall. If your game needs to be financed that way, I'm sorry but it sucks. As with Diablo Immortal, they're lazy. Almost all assets are reused from Diablo 3, hell, even the fucking story is recycled. This guy is talking about salty Diablo tears, he enjoys seeing others have their favorite franchises turned into the abomination that is the mobile market. All the while he's swimming in the salty sloppy seconds from Diablo 3 being rehashed into a shitty mobile game. He could've played Diablo 3 way before Immortal was released and he wouldn't even have to get wrecked by the whales. Exactly as Asmongold said. I wouldn't willingly play most mobile games myself, but what I am worried about is these practices becoming so widespread and commonplace that they'll leak into the PC (or Console, we need solidarity on this front) market. It has happened before Diablo Immortal. Diablo was a PC game for a long time, then a pay to win mobile version is made, could Diablo 4 take certain elements from Immortal based on how much money they generate? Absolutely, and it scares the hell out of me. It happened to one of my favorite old games. Dungeon Keeper. Dungeon Keeper an an IP was bought and then turned into the most cancerous moldy cum stain of a game it is now. And I just know that there will never be another Dungeon Keeper game that's worth playing now. Heroes of Might and Magic has arguably also had a mobile version made, but to be honest that series has been slaughtered a long time ago ever since HOMM 5.

If u play for leatherbord to be top 1 know that u are not the only one person in the server u will not be top 1 forever so wasting money for nothing to be top 1 hahahahaha what a joke is that for diablo games
Spot on. Difficulty by damage spike is boring, they need to integrate mechanics with skills you can use to offset. The reason I believe lost ark has these gear spikes is to allow you to have some easy older content to progress, while progressing the current level(we all know starting out at 802 or 1302) the content is a bit harder without proper build. That means your T1 or T2 bridge(downgraded) gear is still fine for the previous tier.

This video felt like the Brady Bunch intro, except the whole families comprised of Stews and Asmons.
Dude this is so fckg true and sad at the same time
Naahhhh a lot of gamers draw a fine line between console gaming and mobile gaming. A majority I’d say. A majority don’t indulge in mobile games, so he’s right imo
"Just been introduced to him" when he already name-dropped him twice in the last video?
I hope to f'kin god that Stew does a react video to this , There is room for 4 each I think xD
that would be peak youtube content
that will be like a conference meeting
@@widchaponjearaphunt5452 The Council of Asmons vs The Dreaded Stew Republic
No, there isn't room for both. Stew thinks the P2W model is ok because he can still grind away for free in solo play and insists that only PVPers are affected. He is completely oblivious to the fact that the grind was MADE to incentivize paying. Games cannot have a healthy effort/reward design balance if they are chasing whales.
PASTmongold: " [ ___ ] _... and that's a fact BECAUSE I SAY SO!"_
Mainline Zack: "Hear, hear!"
Ted CRUZE LMFAO????? Dude, I have to hear, whatever that conversation is lol.
I bet he himself didn't knew he wanted a war.
But many people would like to see one, against certain companys and their descent into ever more shameless greed.
It was a joke, like the other titles of his videos has been.
it's okay Drax!
@@MGC-XIII
No no, I want this to play out in a pvp. Practice what you preach, he's up there with whales on f2p do it show everybody.
@@x0gucx I have no idea what that means, I had a match today on my fresh 60 DH 16/4/6 no P2W Bronze 1
Also, PvP isn't that great and the rewards suck so I don't know why you would even bother with it.
Make rival game company employees compete in gladitorial combat in order to publish a videogame, winning company gets to release their game, losing company gets their game deleted
This is great, i look forward for more discussions between the two.
"Lets help Asmon get a million subscribers" ... ... ... well, that was so cute.
In his defense, I knew nothing of Asmondgold until a couple of weeks ago.
Can't wait for Asmongold to react to Stew reacting to Asmongold reacting to Stew reacting to Asmongold reacting to Stew.
When the second bald man dropped I lost it. 2x almost bald vs 2x bald. Chat makes the video 100x more fun.
This is how reaction videos should be. Two guys having inoffensive fun taking the piss out of each other. None of that toxic QTV stuff and banning the guy trying to wake up RUclips.
{:-:-:}
You'll be fine, you can show up just like that and be you and Cruz will be fully on board with something like this
Two baldies fighting can only end with one winner. Let the best baldie win!
Shine on
Ooohhh Shiny!!!! I cant see!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Mald wars
Is there something about Asmon I don’t know? Two baldies?
So this is Asmongold reacting to App game Andy reacting to Asmongold reacting to App Game Andy...
You guys are just reacting to each other and will never worry about having no contents to make
I'm actually gonna agree with him. Aside from the resonances. You can hold your weight at paragon 30 if u actually use the pvp paragon tree
Aka "wait shadow legends"
From Stew's point I understood this
Positives: The game has a lot of content that you can play (possibly for years), ad free and not paywalled.
I don't know if max level characters still get those kinds of alerts.
what? this is a grift homie, man has no point. your comment took more effort than that rage bait
This is like layers of reactions deep. A reaction to a reaction to a reaction to a video.
and I'm sitting here, questioning what I'm watching here lmao
I can’t wait for the next one, I look forward to asmon’s face cams taking up the bottom of the screen
I played Raid for the last year and a half and SG was maybe the smartest player in the entire community.
Asmon jokes about playing PoE again but I could unironically watch him play it for hours.
Josh Strife still has time to get in on this with a re:re: reaction
You go bro keep it up fight the good fight to help protect everyone and the kids plus I love the game Diablo we all need to team up to destroy these loot boxes and monetized game need to be destroyed we are behind ya
We can for sure but games will probably go up to like £100+
Than that would call for us not to buy anymore games then which will force companies to lose lots of money bc of greed I still remember when video games cost $49.99
5:30 ..... Long time asmon fan here, and I can say this clip had me DYING with laughter.
Bruh 💀💀💀 what a time to be alive
“Asmongold wants a WAR!"
Paymoregold: I will send you to Jesus!
this is the future boys.
imagine if they keep on reacting to each in videos until they fill the screen
I am not a stew fan but he played asmongold so perfect. It was beautiful
He also doesn't come off as an asshole which is kind of refreshing on the internet. lol
That Oblivion Background music is so euphoric 🔥
I hope Asmon gets the interview! It would (hopefully) start to make a difference within the gaming industry and community. Fight the fight Asmon. The hero we all need right now
not all heroes have hair 👨🦲
this is getting really meta
edit: is there a reaction level that would prompt a collab, or does it in theory go on forever
This dude is the new Vaulty 😂
I disagree. While his videos may be as cringe at least he isn't outright attacking Asmon over his take
I'm really loving watching all of this Diablo Immoral content while playing King Arthur: Knight's Tale, an amazing singleplayer game with zero controversy. I used to be an always online boy, but I think it's solo games for me from here on out lmao
Stew is a really good dude. If you wanna see someone who’s as passionate about mobile gaming as Zack is about PC gaming, watch some of Stew’s content.
I want to see a back and forth of this until the screen is full of portraits with no diablo immortal on the sight.
LOL, that Stew guy made Asmon reinstall the game - you gotta give it to him: well played, Sir.
Stu is a Raid: Shadow Legends refugee so he understands aggressive PTW mechanics. He's legit.
I respect stew for holding his ground even though he’s defending a dead horse.. he deserves the views he’ll get from this
I can't wait for when there is a brady bunch of Stew and Asmons

brilliant, can't wait for the video 'Asmongold reacts to Stew Gaming reacting to Asmongold reacting to Stew Gaming reacting to Asmongold reacting to Stew Gaming' video
I just love how it's "it's app gaming, so pay to win is fine! Those PC and Console plebs don't understand that this is how appgaming works!"
What a terrible way to pave the road to hell.
This is like inception of reaction videos 😂
I love you Zack! and your the number 1 dude I go to watch 20 times a day..

Things are surely brewing today, as we here live on *Asmongold TV* are here to bring YOU the following!
I mean yeah this guy is oblivious but he is so nice and well spirited to the point that I find myself rotting for him, I would love to se you too talk
What a sneaky guy StewGaming is. He is going to get you to reinstall Diablo Immortal *ROFL*
🙏
my head hurts, a react of someone reacting of a reacting video of a reaction, i love Asmongold, that's it.
This actually sounds dangerous. I feel like they’re going to use the loot box issue to fuel their “video games cause violence” rhetoric.
F2p means u dont need to pay to progress in game and p2w only means for ranking pvp to be top1 leatherbord the question is who plays diablo to be top 1? not so many people, i have guild friends i didnt buy and battle pass 46 paragon level and i am doing a lot of the game that give me as f2p as a diablo fan i played only diablo 2 enjoying the game and thats it if i want to play pvp rank or something preferred wow than diablo games so u can still play the game and have fun
If u play for leatherbord to be top 1 know that u are not the only one person in the server u will not be top 1 forever so wasting money for nothing to be top 1 hahahahaha what a joke is that for diablo games
This guy Stew has to be getting paid by someone.. no one just does this. We all know it.
Yes, that is what happens when you have a job and create content for RUclips... That is a given, you know that right?
We need to go deeper, have Josh react to this, then have Stew react to that, then Asmond react again.
Please stop giving this clown attention, that's exactly what he wants and you're playing right into it.
"I've just been introduced to him", name droped him 2 days before this video.
I already know this guy is going to make me cringe...
Wdym this is primo entertainment
I'd love to see you and Josh team up and interview this dude.
This is a video of asmongold watching a video of a guy watching asmon’s video watching the guy’s video. So many layers of reacting
So he's reacting to his reaction being reacted. The future of youtube ladies and gents

have him on stream on discord or something for a real convo about it, these reacts back and forths are funny too tho
