    When the opportunity presents itself to get the best 0-100 time, the last thing I want to do, or have time to do is stab through menus on a screen. So I’m going to manage the pedals without computer assistance (I’m thinking about my manual Mk3RS Focus)
    Frankly I can get a better time that way. Just listen to launch-control bog, as the tyres grip instantly. Proper use of the clutch avoids that, and with minimal clutch slip too.

    That is awesome and that also is a car the AWD would benefit from....Maybe 13.25 1/4 and mid/high 4s to 100?
    Those numbers are awesome too....my IS350 does 5.2s to 100 at the strip on AR-1s and a best of 13.27 @ 169.6 km/h so for a FWD that is really impressive.....and $52k drive away.
    Not sure if you do older cars but would love to see a stock Lexus ISF 2012-14 model. If not, maybe the GSF and RCF at the track.

      An AWD system would completely change the way this car behaves on track, and make it immensely expensive. There's enough eAWD cars out there with the R, S3/RS3, A35/45AMG, M135i etc

    • @Jaredscott89

      Unless those numbers came from a vbox, they aren't actually comparable.

    • @SouthernCrossMotors
      @SouthernCrossMotors 2 года назад

      @@Jaredscott89 I use VBOX Sport, Dragy (most accurate) and the new Racebox as well as official time slips from Willowbank Raceway.
      Dragy is the only one of those that almost exactly match the time slip. Both VBOX and Racebox have higher mph by about 1 - 1.5 mph. I have 60+ comparisons recorded and Dragy is the best by far...within 100th of a second and mph every time.

    to be honest, prepped surface time doesnt matter, really (especially ure usin it as daily)

      @@davidgriggs3967 I think the max rev depends on the surface and the tyre. In this case the road is very well infused with rubber, it must be very tacky. Look at it how black it is. So I'd try the higher revs definitely, because this is not a regular road it's a rubberized road.

      These N's have turbo's that run out efficiency before redline but are great for getting on the gate early .
