    • @leerobbo92
      @leerobbo92 5 лет назад +952

      Probably because it takes an insane amount of time, dedication and money to do this, and because training this way isn't really sustainable. It's a short term program, designed to maximise results as quickly as possible. Even bodybuilders let loose for a while after shows.

    • @seanspacey4452
      @seanspacey4452 5 лет назад +293

      @@leerobbo92 Just maintaining what he has gained doesn't take as much dedication. Of course, it takes a shift in lifestyle and most people aren't willing to sacrifice their comfort for that. Still, if he doesn't try to maintain it (idk if he does or not), he will regret it.

    • @leerobbo92
      @leerobbo92 5 лет назад +56

      @@seanspacey4452 Depends what you mean by "maintain" though, right? If you just go the gym and do the same stuff over and over without progressing or taking it further you're never actually going to maintain it. You'll still look great, but your muscle mass will actually start to decrease slightly since you're not progressively loading and pushing yourself. If you want to maintain a look like he has there, it really does take just as much dedication as he put in in the first place to stay like that, and he was putting more hours in than most can, while doing a strict prepped diet that most can't afford.
      Now if you mean "maintain" as in, keeping healthy and looking good, then sure. I doubt he'd throw that away, but treating himself every now and again while still eating clean most of the time and going to the gym regularly is fine. It's probably much better mentally than keeping this up for any length of time, something that people really underestimate.

    YES! Having a 9-5 makes everything more difficult. Meal prepping is super hard bc it’s eating the same thing over and over, plus, thinking at least a week ahead, plus, cooking everything yourself, plus, moving funds around/lifestyle sacrifices to afford meal prep. Everything they don’t tell you can be discouraging BUT you can do it. It doesn’t matter if you fall off the wagon. It matters if you get back up.

      I'll only point out it doesn't have to be the same food over and over. It's just that most people aren't cooks.
      They have the disadvantage of working with a limited set of ingredients, but you can have a varied diet with some taste.
      The other problem is food prep. It's just easier to prep a week of the same food instead of 2-3 different things.

      Expensive and time consuming honestly. I wouldn't mind eating chicken every day, but taco bell is a lot less cooking and a lot cheaper. Working out hurts, but for me weights are enjoyable. Never did learn to like cardio, but cardio is vastly overrated imo unless your goal is cardio related. Diet and strength training goes a lot further if you just want to look better.
      While it's not particularly healthy or easy to do, you could get in better shape eating taco bell. I wouldn't recommend it, but It's just calories in and calories out, eat the amount you need for your goal whether its lean or bulk, and get a lot of protein which helps suppress appetite and build muscle.
