The most honest part of the video: the trainer flat out saying that this was all carefully orchestrated by an entire team focusing on Jake’s needs, and NOT sustainable

I really appreciate this trainer stating that maintaining this look is not sustainable, because he’s absolutely correct. Getting shredded is incredibly difficult and requires a level of discipline that most people just don’t have. I did this type of intense training for 18months, and it’s brutal. Anyone who can maintain even a higher level of fitness, deserves respect. You have to be willing to adopt the mindset that food is primarily lean protein products for fuel, never enjoyment or socialization. You have to train regardless of the pain, soreness, strains, cramps, exhaustion, headaches and the mental hurdles developed during intense training. Expecting perfection or that once you hit your idea of “perfection”, that you will be able to easily maintain it, is simply an unrealistic expectation. It’s hard AF to get to this peak level and regardless of how long it’s maintained, anyone who accomplishes it deserves a MASSIVE amount of respect. If you've noticed, many actors have gotten in phenomenal condition doing various variations of training modalities so one doesnt have to go to this guys studio however I do suggest getting an experienced trainer and nutritionist so as to partition macros for what your intended outcomes. Will there be a part 2?
Love Jake ❤
@ 4:00.... "Forearm strength also correlates heavily to longevity"... What is meant here by "longevity"?
I’ve been waiting for this video since the first roadhouse pictures came out
Salute this guy for Overall Discipline & Dedication
It's the $$$$$
For sure, I always look out for those. They make the lows a bit easier to handle, keeping you in the game longer
He was PHENOMENAL (😉👍if you understood) in Southpaw.... Seems like he's gone and done 1 better with this one. 😎👍 Lookin forward to it!!!
I feel like this movie was more for a paycheck and to get shredded. Such a run of the mill movie.
Agree
Personal Trainer here for over 25 years and it's not the exercises themselves. It's fueling the body properly. If you've noticed, many actors have gotten in phenomenal condition doing various variations of training modalities so one doesnt have to go to this guys studio however I do suggest getting an experienced trainer and nutritionist so as to partition macros for what your intended outcomes. Too many of us maintain that we have some insight that others dont have and that's simply not even close to the truth. I love the new equipment thats been developed over the years however there's many other balance and strength exercises one can do to get the same of better results.
lmao its mostly steroids.
@@darraddarrad the dude's steroid gut is almost joe rogan level
My all-time favorite actor. Never missed his movies 🎬 🎞 😊
🥰
"road house" this movie is amazing i love it.
Jake Gyllenhaal has the most intense look on his face, even when he’s not doing intense stuff.
Conor was sharing his chicken, rice, and broccoli with Jake.
xD
Jake looks great well done buddy, this is inspiring seeing your transformation 💪🏾🔥🔥
I'm curious about the use of the stick for mobility. Have you ever done a segment on that?
this is 8 minutes of ultimate inspiration
So underrated! One of the best actors out there. Just fineeeeeeee!!! Lol
😳 yes. lol.
That first scene in Road house with post malone was winstrol dehydration for sure looked sick though
Been waiting for this one!
Great video. Thank you for posting it. Jake G. is an incredibly hard worker to get into shape the way he has over the years. Wow!
How much gear tho
I love that Donnie’s back and on this timeline he is cracking heads 😂 inspiring
Unreal WOW just WOW
Training in the Gym has come a long way!
Congratulations!
Brutal! I love it. Jake is a complete badass
Wow Dr Mike is going to love this))
This is pure dedication, class act to him
It’s Tren and diuretics.
bros def on juice
Dedication is definitely easier when making millions to do this and have personal trainers and chefs
"no proteus?" - you gotta be effing kidding me 😂
Yeah, it's great how they offer those. Helps smooth out the ups and downs a bit. Do you usually go for games of chance or strategy
Jake is looking cut👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Good genetics, good gear, good diet, he’s going to look good regardless what he does.
Honestly this build is very obtainable naturally. He doesn’t have a crazy amount of muscle, he’s just very lean. Just lift weights a few times a week and eat a strict diet.
He’s always been a lean man too but for his level of activity and performance I wouldn’t be shocked if he were to take gear, I can believe he’s natural though definitely attainable, his genetics are just great overall.
Yes and their crash games are pretty cool too started on a recommendation from a friend and now I’m hooked
You guys did an amazing job! Super impressed!!! Great movie!
Some great tips here I'll be incorporating into my own and my clients training 💪🏾
Where to get those red sticks...??? It looks pretty cool for training.
Incredible dedication total commitment for a unique film choreography, a much more involved film than just an action flick. Thanks for sharing great job also👏👍
@JakeGyllenhaal-qu4fr thank you for taking the time to reply, I will be watching 😉
Thank you for sharing your journey Jake and Jason, awesome to see it from start to finish :)
I appreciate how heading into the nutrition/diet conversation, they flat out said that the physiques achieved by the diet make them look amazing but is NOT sustainable. Wish more people realized this. Much can be achieved… But sustainability is something else entirely! Thanks for the video!
I loved the film. Jake is one of my favorite actors. Great debut by Conor too.
Mr. Gyllenhaal doesn't take his health & fitness for granted. He has my upmost respect! 👍🏾
Never give up, This Clip is pure Motivation!!! 💯💯💯
Jakes a beast bro much respect
"Never been done before" Bro speaking like he didn't do Southpaw...
I feel like he’s doing a lot more weight lifting in this one. Southpaw seemed a lot more boxing specific though it didn’t show on screen.

Wow! I couldn’t believe my eyes! What an incredible transformation. At first I thought “is that really Jake? Is that make-up and special effects?” Great movie. Nice mix of action and humor. The fight scenes were well done!
Thank you for a look behind the scenes. It's great what's being done here. 💪
