    I really appreciate this trainer stating that maintaining this look is not sustainable, because he’s absolutely correct. Getting shredded is incredibly difficult and requires a level of discipline that most people just don’t have. I did this type of intense training for 18months, and it’s brutal. Anyone who can maintain even a higher level of fitness, deserves respect. You have to be willing to adopt the mindset that food is primarily lean protein products for fuel, never enjoyment or socialization. You have to train regardless of the pain, soreness, strains, cramps, exhaustion, headaches and the mental hurdles developed during intense training. Expecting perfection or that once you hit your idea of “perfection”, that you will be able to easily maintain it, is simply an unrealistic expectation. It’s hard AF to get to this peak level and regardless of how long it’s maintained, anyone who accomplishes it deserves a MASSIVE amount of respect. Jake deserves huge props for his dedication, commitment and discipline to achieve this level of excellence. The trainer did a great job helping Jake achieve his goal, and fans can definitely enjoy viewing the results.

      @@TVsez You should really just get a trainer and see for yourself how far you can go without steriods or PEDS. You don't need PEDS to get a build like his most MMA fighters are built like this on training alone. Powerlifters NEED the assistance to recover and recruit more muscle mass that would be detrimental to a fighter who needs to be efficient with oxygen and very agile at all times. Not saying he didn't take any type of substances but you rarely need it to get to this level. Try it if you are skeptical, see for yourself rather than just assume everything you can't acheive is done so with some unfair advantage others have over you.

    Jake doesn't play around when it comes to training for a role. This is one of the rare occasions where I see actually grueling and functional workouts instead of the typical bodybuilder program meant to gain mass and that's it.
    By the end of his Southpaw training and this one, he looks capable of actually fighting instead of just looking the part.

    • @Casparify
      @Casparify 9 месяцев назад +2

      What is not functional about a deadlift? How is bench press not functional? The strongest people in the world all do these exercises, just like bodybuilders.

    • @pun15h3r.
      @pun15h3r. 9 месяцев назад +4

      A benchpress is not declared as functional cause you do it only for the purpose of doing it.
      Never in real life u lie on the floor pressing some weight over your belly..
      Deadlift may somewhat but also not, cause if you take something off the ground iRL you mostly have to do it in some odd way, therefore the deadlife does not prepare u for this.
      That's why does typical gym bro moves are not declared as functional.
      You won't be a fighter just cause u trained as gym bro...

      Who declares these things ? You ? What if a beam falls on your chest, do you not bench press it up ? Or if you literally pick something heavy up in a weird way, do you not still use your hamstrings and lower back like in a deadlift ? Or lift an injured person and carry them, not a squat ? Bigger stronger muscles are better at everything, no matter how you trained them. Muscles won't make you a fighter, but a jacked fighter is better than a skinny fighter @@pun15h3r.

If you've noticed, many actors have gotten in phenomenal condition doing various variations of training modalities so one doesnt have to go to this guys studio however I do suggest getting an experienced trainer and nutritionist so as to partition macros for what your intended outcomes. Too many of us maintain that we have some insight that others dont have and that's simply not even close to the truth. I love the new equipment thats been developed over the years however there's many other balance and strength exercises one can do to get the same of better results.
