ezra Uhh, I've been to the gym several times. There was a period a few years ago when I went there a lot. I even took a course about eating healthy and how to work out properly. But strangely, it never made me feel better about myself and only made me feel more self conscious. I'm from sweden, and I always feel like if there's someone at the gym, they will look at you (although secretly) and judge you. And even if there weren't that many people at the gym, it would freak me out. The only way I could relax was if I was alone and that would very rarely happen. So yeah, it's not for everyone. I understand that you mean well, but please understand that we're not all the same. I'm very insecure about a lot of things, especially my body, so that's probably why I don't like gym because I have to expose my flaws there in tight clothing and show how physically weak I am.
For me the most impressive change in both is their posture. Their head was forward when standing, not anymore. And the arms are further back. They both look more straight standing up. Thats the impressive part for me.

Gym 5 days a week is more than enough. Trust me. You'll infact see more progress and be stronger when lifting 3-5 days a week especially as a beginner.

This video was pretty eye opening for me. The difference in both of them after just one month intense training is crazy. I think it's time I stopped procrastinating and got myself in shape. There really is no excuse to be out of shape if you're healthy enough to exercise. I'm going to train like a real hero though. 100 push ups 100 sit ups 100 squats a 10k run Every single day. ONE PUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!!!!!!
No just go lift heavy weights. I did my big weight loss transformation and didn't run 1 single step. You burn more calories by lifting heavy weight and burn calories longer than if you run. You also lose muscle if you run so you'll just end up being skinny. Pushups, situps and squats (I'm assuming body weight squats) will not build muscle. I've never run a day in my life and I've gained about 50 lbs of muscle in the last 7~8 years. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon. It takes years for someone to become obese but months if the diet and training is on point.
Slows you down?? In what? The only time I'm gonna run is if I see someone approaching my squat rack before I've gotten in my sets. I've seen dozens of amazing transformations at my gym involving obese young people, middle-aged and older people in their 60's and not once did they run. Everything was focused on weight training and 20~45 minutes of low-intensity cardio on the treadmill or stationary bike for a cool down and even that was usually optional. 99% of the calories were burned from the weight training and because of that, the thermogenic effect lasts MUCH longer vs an immediate drop off if you rely on cardio only.
Some people don't want to only muscle. Also, by slowing down, it was mentioning the fact that you weigh significantly more if you've built your body like Old Man Arnie, thus slowing you speed at which you can move. You want ridiculous looking muscle, go for it, but let this guy decide their body, because immediately recommending weights, and only weights, can leave devastating outcomes. (EMPHASIS ON CAN)

Impossible, considering these people have an entire studio to work in and access to full lighting rigs.
Not very hard. Easiest trick is to take the after pic after getting a pump. Then deload for a week, eating junk. And take the "before pic"

I saw this video a couple months ago and thought to myself I need to at least get started on a healthier life style. I started attending a gym two weeks ago, and they told me how I should change my diet, and they work with me Monday through Friday. in just those two weeks I'm 6lbs lighter, I have more endurance, and I feel less stressed. Thanks for inspiring me BuzzFeed.

I would work out but crowds and strangers freak me out. I also have slight social anxiety. The gym is a nightmare for me. It feels like everybody's watching me. I just want to sweat and be ugly in peace, which is not what the gym gives me.

ezra Uhh, I've been to the gym several times. There was a period a few years ago when I went there a lot. I even took a course about eating healthy and how to work out properly. But strangely, it never made me feel better about myself and only made me feel more self conscious. I'm from sweden, and I always feel like if there's someone at the gym, they will look at you (although secretly) and judge you. And even if there weren't that many people at the gym, it would freak me out. The only way I could relax was if I was alone and that would very rarely happen. So yeah, it's not for everyone. I understand that you mean well, but please understand that we're not all the same. I'm very insecure about a lot of things, especially my body, so that's probably why I don't like gym because I have to expose my flaws there in tight clothing and show how physically weak I am.

For me the most impressive change in both is their posture. Their head was forward when standing, not anymore. And the arms are further back. They both look more straight standing up. Thats the impressive part for me.

isaac tartaglia I see what your saying but even when training a muscle eg triceps, you'll train a little bit of chest, shoulders and other muscles throughout the body! Gym 5 days a week is more than enough. Trust me. You'll infact see more progress and be stronger when lifting 3-5 days a week especially as a beginner.

You'd still have to pay the guy and show up to do the exercises. Find a workout regimen you like online and tweak it as you need. Find motivation in yourself, another person cant make you want it.

This video was pretty eye opening for me. The difference in both of them after just one month intense training is crazy. I think it's time I stopped procrastinating and got myself in shape. There really is no excuse to be out of shape if you're healthy enough to exercise.

No just go lift heavy weights. I did my big weight loss transformation and didn't run 1 single step. You burn more calories by lifting heavy weight and burn calories longer than if you run. You also lose muscle if you run so you'll just end up being skinny. Pushups, situps and squats (I'm assuming body weight squats) will not build muscle.
I've never run a day in my life and I've gained about 50 lbs of muscle in the last 7~8 years. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon. It takes years for someone to become obese but months if the diet and training is on point.

I've seen dozens of amazing transformations at my gym involving obese young people, middle-aged and older people in their 60's and not once did they run. Everything was focused on weight training and 20~45 minutes of low-intensity cardio on the treadmill or stationary bike for a cool down and even that was usually optional. 99% of the calories were burned from the weight training and because of that, the thermogenic effect lasts MUCH longer vs an immediate drop off if you rely on cardio only.
Some people don't want to only muscle. Also, by slowing down, it was mentioning the fact that you weigh significantly more if you've built your body like Old Man Arnie, thus slowing you speed at which you can move. You want ridiculous looking muscle, go for it, but let this guy decide their body, because immediately recommending weights, and only weights, can leave devastating outcomes. (EMPHASIS ON CAN)
