it is though, when it comes to fat the only rule is calories in and calories out.
if you eat less calories than you use, your body uses fat reserves, and that's the only rule and the real secret to weight loss.
A lot of people work out and then start taking naps, or start eating more, doesn't matter how much exercise you do if you rest / eat to compensate for the energy spent.

Encouragement: As you eat less processed sugar, you'll crave it less. You can replace it with fruits to get that sweet taste. For instance, I've fallen in love with fuji and gala apples and clementine oranges. If you do this, (and replace soda with water), and have a sugary treat once a week, it'll make a big difference.

So true. I did a sugar fast in July. I only ate apples, tangerines, and bananas for something sweet. Now, I have no desire to go back to eating donuts, cakes, pies and we are 7 days into August. 2 weeks into the fast, my husband and I went to Krispy Kreme. I love KK donuts but for some reason, my desire for them had been removed. As hubby indulged in his 3 donuts, I had a sugarless expresso. My husband was even shocked. I introduced him to KK. Sugar can be an addiction like a drug.

They are the best tasting for you because of evolution. When our ancestors hunted and gathered their food things like sugars, fats, carbs weren't too easy to find so our taste buds evolved to make those types of foods more desirable so we would try harder to find those foods that we need but aren't easily accessible. I really loved the dynamic between these two. They make the most awesome workout videos. They're dedicated but in a realistic way.
Summary for those seeking to get abs like them:
Summary for the man:
- he wanted ripped blocky abs
- in order to do that he had to stimulate the abs muscle with a lot of weight
- he was on a CALORIC DEFICIT
- no sugar, carbs came from fruit and vegies, high protein
- pays atention to body, when losing too much weight he added 100 cal and lowered a bit of cardio.
Summary for the woman:
-She wanted for her abs to not be too muscular but instead the "elevens"
- for that she did not really use a lot of weight, but still trained them
- she was on a CALORIC DEFICIT
- she was in the same diet conditions as the other boy and also ate a lot of protein.
- did a lot of cardio for the layer of fat to come off.
- she injured her ankle but still found ways to not give up and not be a quiter.
Both:
-Caloric deficit
-Stimilated abs with some weight
- strict diet
-cardiovascular exercises.
I hope this helped you, and remember dicipline is THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect if you want abs no matter if you are a man or woman. (Or even if you sexually identify yourself as an apache attack helicopter)

Genetics doesn’t magically give someone a six pack. I still wasn’t being very clear in my comment, because I am aware of how much the lighting is changing the way his body looks.
The same for the lady, the light made the shadows obvious so it makes the grooves look deeper. Not saying there is no progress, but would be more interested to see a fair comprison rather than something that is “touched up”

The problem with these kind of coaches is that they don’t understand that you can have a healthy diet but still make it an interesting one
these are actually very realistic results. it obviously helped that they were basically paid to workout and had so much guidance but in a world where everyone says everyone is on PEDs, these are the results you can get with good coaching.
and you dont really need the coaching you just need stick to the diet and do a few abs exercises every week. it just takes time and dedication

When you have a strict goal like they did (six weeks is crazy), you really have to avoid all the good stuff and stick to a very strict regimen to the tee. However, to get a six pack and sustain the lifestyle to keep them, you have to take the long road, which allows moderate consumption of goodies so you don't go insane.
Trying to stick to a strict regimen like this is why a lot of diets fail.

Since he's in California and I don't live near there (and probably some of you guys don't either), he should make an app... but along with his other fitness instructors so we can put what our fitness goals are.And something that we could put our weight,body fat,and bone mass and such so he can help us depending on our body types. And if something doesn't seem right about what we are doing we should find a way to communicate to a fitness instructor.

Why is this everyone on a diet?
That's sort of the fundamental problem with the term "dieting" in general. You want to develop a "lifestyle" around healthy eating in order for it to be sustainable, and that involves eating in moderation, hitting all of the primary food groups, and waiting. But this was a six-week challenge, so they had to go extreme to show any results. On a diet that you would love to stay on for the rest of your life, it would take about two years from "skinny fat" to have visible abs. But people want results *now*
Yeah Im a weightlifter and when it comes down nutrition it is like the key component to getting fit asf. What I normally tell people to do is like do a "diet" for like 4 weeks or more if you can take it and do HIIT as cardio or some conditioning movements so you can keep a good amount of muscle. After the diet you need to find a lifestyle choice that will help you keep majority of your gains but you can feel much better at the same time. Of course the more weight you have the more of a caloric deficit you need to have to lose more fat. Plus I dont drink so it is much easier to stay in shape when you dont harm your body lol.
I feel weird because when I eat junk food I feel horrible and when I eat healthy it makes me feel good so I prefer eating like that, the only reason I would eat stuff like that is because social situations and that’s what’s expected of me and I would be thought of as a health freak or something else if I didn’t.

- Your diet should focus on being low-carb and high-protein, no fast food, no sugar drink - meaning eat totally clean and bland.
- Cut down your 3 main meals (>1000 kcal/meal) to 5-6 meals around the day (~500 kcal/meal)! And adjust it to your own scenario.
You can always check out the shredding phase's diet of aesthetic youtubers! Like they are everywhere now!

Lee Roy it’s not that difficult just go low carbs high protein and add weight to your ab workouts and depending on your body fat percentage you’ll start to clearly see them at 12 to 13 percent body fat
