This movie isn't perfect, and honestly it doesn't need to be. Not every movie has to be completely perfect The concept of the movie was a thoroughly interesting one and when i first watched this i really wanted a continuation to see how things played out. Luckily there are 2 seasons of a show based on the events of this movie following survivors, including the child from the movie now grown up, 25 years after the events of the movie, and i honestly think its pretty good. Some of the performances in this movie was also really good (specifically Micheal and Gabriels actors performances) but overall a pretty fun movie
I loved this movie as a kid because it was super creative! Now it's not as good as I remember but it's still creepy as hell and it was still a movie you could easily have fun with it 🙂

If you want a badass apocolypse story; go watch Season 4 and 5 of Supernatural. Granted it helps to watch the first 3 seasons, but 4 and 5 will definitely satisfy your apocolyptic sweet tooth in a way that Legion will never even come close to. Supernatural is like Steak and Legion is like Tofu . . .just . .WHY
My issue with legion was it seemed like it was going in a good direction, up to when the creepy long limbed thing came to recon the diners defenses. Then it felt like everything was scrapped and reworked for runtime or something. There never really was a solid attack plan FROM GOD, after the recon. It just turned into a jumbled mess.

I was really confused when I first heard about this movie. It was called "Legion," but the antagonists consisted of angels. Legion is a pretty well-known part of the Bible (you may be familiar with it if you've played Mass Effect 2), where Christ expels a demon and asks it its name, to which it replies "My name is Legion for we are many" [Mark 5:9]. So the title gave me the impression that it would be about fighting demons, but watching the commercial I'm like "Wait, angels?" Then I thought that maybe it's supposed to be a new group of fallen angels or something. Well, we all know what happened. So, in addition to being poorly written and poorly acted, it's also poorly titled. In addition to that, the attributes of the angels in this movie are totally idiotic. They can possess people the way that demons can? Are you fucking kidding me? To me, that's like saying goblins are afraid of the dark or something. It makes no sense! I'm dying of curiosity as to what Satan and his army were doing in this movie while all of this shit was going on.

Yeah, Legion was bad, but I did like one thing about it; the people-trapped-in-one-place-while-monsters-come is rather cool. It just would have been cooler if the monsters were believable.
You didn't spoil it for me, the trailer did. I also thought the action would be cool so i wanted to watch it, but I see that I didn't actually miss anything from watching the trailer.

I can recognize that the apocalypse in this movie is the biblical apocalypse, but there are a tons of ways to make a biblical apocalypse on screen better. It could have been the devil who is destroying the world instead of god, only that small change would make so much more sense since the devil can't use supernovas to blow up the world (I hope).

Actually I just saw the movie and I agree and disagree. The movie I think has some very impressive filmography I believe, as in it looked amazing, the effects the action sequences were generic, the effects were amazing, as well as the fact that the movie seemed to do what most scary movies can not which is creep me the f out. yes the plot sucked and by the end im like "that its?" but it had potential, it just wasnt written out well at all, the way they filmed it was amazing though.
It was a bad movie, but in that cheesy way, that kinda makes it ok. The plot was poor and had way too many holes, the acting was bad in parts and some of the FX were laughable for today's standards, but in spite of all that, I liked it. The movie did what I expected of it. It was an action filled, gun firing, angel brawling, leave your brain at home coz you on't need it, 90 minutes of fun.
I️ really think they should remake this movie, it’s a really cool premise that could be a lot of fun and I️ would like to see it executed better than this
Great review, but you missed one thing: Why is the movie set in a diner in the middle of nowhere to begin with, when there's an ENTIRE WORLD AT STEAK? Seriously, you could have them fight their way out of the diner, travel the world for maybe a portal or a wormhole and, at the end, have them convince God to call off his angels, leading to a big climactic battle at the end between the rogue angel, Michael and God. That's one idea. Or how about a big, massive between mankind and God? Humanity's militaries waring with God, and our main characters trying to survive! Just something other than a DINER!!!
