The easy part of restoring a car in Cali other than finding parts is that you don't have any existing rusty cars, and that's what makes me jealous loll C ongratulations on your new acquisition, I already had this car in 1993 but yours is a whole other marvel ! You got a new subscriber !
Thank you for posting up these vids!! keeps me motivated to keep on with my GTS project! ...i noticed the sticker is "22R" not 22RE?? such a nice restoration!
you gotta love a louvred back window....I failed to put one on a gen 3 camaro... and jeeps don't work...now i have an 87 celica but it's a convertible lol
The Celica is clean, clean Wow!! Great trade, but that 77 is sweet too, I'd probably keep the 77, but I understand the budget issue and wanting to have a vintage ride. I just got a 1984 Celica GTS coupe 5 speed. 👍
I really had plans for the 77 but it was out of my budget and knowledge to get it going. With the trade It won’t take much to update on some parts on the Celica and have it ready for the show circuit in 2023 in my booth. But! The new owner of the 77 is a friend so it won’t be too far away and I will still get to see it. Congrats on your 84 Celica ! Hope to run across ya someday.
Love the 85 celica gts, but 77 celica is collectible, especially that condition. For me, I wouldn't have traded because 77 celica is not coming around that often .
Definitely the 77 Celica is a great car to own. I m glad it went to a good friend that will take time on it to make it nice. And I will have the opportunity to get it back later because he is the type of guy that likes to build things, finishes, gets bored, and then gives it back. Lols. We shall see more contents on this.
@Toua Vlogs I'd love to have a friend like him, lol. Question, If I'm not mistaken, you guys live in so ca, right? If yes. Where in so cal. Because I have a 1985 toyota supar in project. And I need some advice . Thanks
Damn bro i can't believed you trade your 77 for a 85 celica. I know the 85 is nice and shine but the 77 is a rare unicorn. I know you have a lot of nice jdm collections and none of those really got any loved. I think instead of going show to gather your videos content I think you should pick one of your jdm car and transform into a piece of art. You can create your videos of how you fix up along the way. Just a thought.....
I know right?! It was a tough decision but It will free me up to buy a pre 1975 smog exempt celica. This way I can go all out and don’t have to worry about smog. California is just a terrible state for cars. I have been eyeing a 1973 Celica that one of my friend has and that one I will definitely put in the work since it will be smog exempt. I love the 77 lift back style and if I ever pick one up again, I know what to look for and probably start with a different platform. It was a learning experience and the next time will be better. I appreciate your comment, and looking forward to hearing from you again.
You’re right, i need to pick one and do content instead of shows. I been planning. Just so darn hot in Fresno! Waiting till the weather to cool down a bit and I will be working on the S13 more often. I cannot wait to be outside and making contents.
Could be. We bought it from someone that lives up in the hills. It was very beat though. Faded paint, and missing parts. We had to restore from ground up
@@touavlogs yea i sold it or almost gave it to a cousin wich then sold to some clowns and i think sat in a tree farm for a bit i biught it of a guy named peter from freezone smog
Could be. Welp we made it into an award winning car and so hopefully one day you get to see it in person. Everything has been gone through and runs like a new car

such a nice restoration!
Yes the sticker was laying around the garage and the last owner put it on. I will have to order the right decal.
Cleeeeeaaaan; I’d engine swap it though… 4G63 or K24 turbo versions obviously.
Clean. I may have to come back to cali to buy one of those classics off you.

I actually bought one but it’s in a bad shape. I have to clean it up and respray it with a paint coat. Probably will do that this summer
Cool! Both of them!
Thank you!
Wow awesome finding! So clean!

Very nice
Wow these cars was fckn amazing

How can I get the shine back on my tail and front lights like yours?
Restoring it: take off lens cover to clean and reseal back onto light box. Sand and clear coat
