I’ve made your recipe countless times. The first time my husband took some for his work lunch. He shared it with his coworkers and since then I’ve had a birthday request for your Grandma’s Banana Bread from every male working with him. That’s nine requests to date, and with today’s request for a birthday tomorrow, makes 10! Thank you for sharing it, it’s a hit.
My grandma used to make it with blackend bananas...but i don't think she knew about the cooking trick! I remember them in the basket over time getting dark. That's why I ignored any recipe that used ripe bananas, and looked up "granmas banana bread recipe"! Thank you so much
I made this bread today, and it turned out amazing. I will list my changes and added ingredients. 1 cup dark brown sugar, 2 tbsps. cinnamon, 1.5 tsps. of Rodelle All Natural Vanilla Paste, 1 cup of melted coconut oil, 11 bannanas. I meant to do 12 but one got accidentally left out. I ate that one! I highly recommend trying my changes! Thank you so much for this video.
@@AbideinChristFully I don’t think I’ve ever had banana bread with cinnamon in it. Sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing! I might just have to give that a try. 😊

Hi..I made this cake yesterday and I made a mistake..I used baking powder instead of baking soda..my fault..it didn't rise very well and it was still kinda gummy inside..that must be cause I used the baking powder instead of the baking soda right? Another question plz...could I just use a fork to beat ingredients instead of an electric mixer?thank you I will definitely try this recipe again and not screw up
Hi! Yes, the mistake in the baking powder vs baking soda probably did cause it to turn out not quite right. And you absolutely could use a fork or even a whisk to mix it all. Good luck! 😊
@@amberanntn I made it and showed it on my channel. I linked back to your channel so you and your granny receive credit. Several of my subscribers have made it and this it is delicious and moist too!.
I am going to try this asap. I want to know the difference the baked bananas will make. Thank you for sharing the recipe and your grandmother with us friend. Blessings on you.

I didn't know you could make bananas ripen in the oven, but it makes perfect sense now that I think about it.☺
Yep! And they make the best banana bread 😋
Now THAT looks like moist banana bread! All the rest I've seen look dry. I will save this one. Thanks
If you make it, come back and let me know what you think! 😊

Be sure and let me know what you think! I find that the dark bananas make for a sweeter, richer banana flavor.
