Hey hun, I made this today and it’s so delicious. I don’t think Starbucks can match this. It is the best banana bread I’ve ever had. It’s so moist and I put the quick oats on it just like yours. I doubled the recipe and I got two loaf pan and 12 muffins from the batter. It is the bomb. My family love it. Thanks for sharing ❤️
@@genevekisson8639 oh man I'm so happy you made it and it turned out so good! It really is better than Starbucks in my opinion too lol. That's a lot of banana bread you made! Your kind words mean a lot to me and it means the world that you and others have tried this recipe. Thank you for commenting and letting me know how it was. ❤️❤️❤️
I have made dozens of Banana Nut Loaves so I do know a little thing about making them and about baking. One suggestion I would like to make when adding flour to liquid is to “Fold” it in gently. Don’t use an electric mixer. This will result in a less dense loaf. Flour can be a bit of a Diva in this instance. Also, lightly toast your walnuts a bit, doing so releases a marvelous flavor that will enhance your loaf tremendously. Ten minutes of your time will yield results that will make you famous for your Banana Bread. 💕🐥💕
I added chocolate chips in as well and hubby’s mouth is drooling. The walnuts we get here in packets from wholesale clubs is crunchy enough and didn’t feel the need to toast it at all. I store them in my fridge.
@@AJ-oz7fx The toasting is not about increasing crunchyness, but about heating / burning them just enough to get a process called hydrolysis, or caramelization, going: For the wallnuts you sprinkle on top, this happens in the oven automatically, but the ones that are on the inside will get cooked and there will be not much caramelization happening for these, so toasting them beforehand may help improve flavour
Looks great! A baking tip: Don’t forget to roast your walnuts @ 350 F for 8-10 mins. It will take your banana nut bread to another level. Once you try it, you’ll always roast your nuts. Ahhh so good! 😋
@@YWChyi82 Yes but pre-roasting the nuts and seed in general extract the oil and the flavors is not for cooking those ingredients but to extract their oils.
I just made this without pre toasting the walnuts and they were roasted and crispy when I took it out. I think with such a long bake time it would burn them to pre toast them.
I decided to try another banana bread recipe from the one I usually make and this is absolutely amazing. It came out so moist and super delicious. My husband LOVED it. I had 6 ripened bananas laying around so I tripled the measurements. Added vanilla extract to the wet ingredients, and nutmeg and cinnamon to the dry ingredients. I roasted my walnuts and also sprinkled some brown sugar (a little) on top with the walnuts which cristalized and this added some cruchiness and sweetness to the top of the loaves. The taste was so bomb. I love that this wasn't too sweet as well. Even with the extra brown sugar on top, it was just perfect. Thank you! I'm never going back to my old recipe ever, ever..
Dear Fariyal... I made the banana nut bread last night! I must say that I would give my Starbucks copy-cat recipe a 7.5 out of 10. Overall, it came out really good. I haven't baked anything in about two years. I was inspired to do so after seeing how yours came out. I'm not a quitter. I will try it again and again until I can say it's a "10." Thank you for sharing again, Fariyal.
It makes me so happy you tried the recipe. I hope you keep making it, because practice makes perfect. But 7.5/10 is great too. Thanks for making it and the support 🙂
I tried this recipe last evening, and it turned out AMAZING! I would definitely recommend this recipe for others to try out. I modified the ingredients to my preferences, i.e. solid unmelted coconut oil instead of butter, brown sugar instead of white sugar, and pecans instead of walnuts, but kept the measurements exactly the same. This was an easy recipe and didn't take much time. I also used a muffin tray, and this recipe makes exactly one tray i.e. 12 muffins. They were so moist and delicious. I am a big fan of the Starbucks Banana Bread but I have to say, this is MUCH BETTER! Thank you very much for sharing this recipe!
Awww thank you for trying! I will use the modification ingredients like you did, just to make it a little healthier 😅 I appreciate you trying this recipe ❤️
I just baked it in a bundt pan. Substituted the walnuts for pistachios and topped with quick oats as well. My family loves it. Will have it for breaking of fast later today. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
Made this yesterday and it turned out perfect 😍 I tweaked it a little. I added chocolate chips, another 1/3 cup of sugar, vanilla essence and cinnamon. Turned out really nice
I have to try it out with vanilla essence, and chocolate chips. A lot of people made it with that and it turned out great. So glad you like the recipe 😊
I’ve made this bread twice now. The second time I made a double batch. It came out just as delicious as the first time. Never knew how important it was to make sure the Softened Butter and Sugar was blended well. I saw this step in other videos as the reason for making the bread light and airy. Who knew. I’m 68 yrs. and always willing to learn something new. Thank you for sharing, Irene 😊
Thanks for making it Irene! I'm so happy it turned out good for you. Yes, making sure the butter and sugar are blended together properly is important so it can add lightness to the batter. Thanks 😊
My daughter asked me to make her a banana nut bread, and i will, this recipe looks easy and deliciuos. Thank you for taking your time to teach us how you do it.
This is my second time following this recipe and it’s been a hit both times! I have diabetic family members so I cut the sugar in half and let the sweetness from the ripe bananas shine and it’s so so good! Super easy and quick! Love
Omg that's so sweet. This means so much to me that you tried this recipe and made so many already. I was actually think about making it again the other day as I had walnuts sitting around. Thank you for your support ❤️❤️
Make sure you don't overmix the banana bread ❤️ that's a tip I learned. And better to take it out slightly early than to overbake it as well. If there's a tiny bit left on the toothpick. It should be good to take out. Doesn't need to be completely clean. Normally these need at least 45 to 50 min in a loaf pan at whatever temp your recipe calls for
I accidentally stumbled upon this recipe, ended up trying it and added my own twist into it by addition of some flax seeds, oats in the batter, and almonds along with walnuts. Topped them up with the same nuts. This recipe is really great. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe with us. It is my go to recipe for Banana bread from now on!
Ohhh your version sounds really good, I'd love to try that too. Thanks for sharing those additional ingredients. I'm really glad you stumbled upon my recipe and that you enjoyed it.
Made this for Thanksgiving and it turned out so great! I went with less sugar and no baking powder. A warm slice with some butter was heavenly! Thanks for the recipe🙏🏼
I made it! Super good!! I used 300g Mashed Bananas. And reduced sugar to 85g. I used oil instead. It was moist fluffy and sweetness just right as I didn't want it to be too sweet for a bread. It took me 50mins Baking time :) thank you for the recipe!
My husband is a great fan of banana bread and would always ask me to bake it for him at home. This was my first time baking banana bread for him following your recipe. Believe me, it’s just perfect. He loved it. All the measurement, tips and timings are just perfect. Thanks a lot 👍🏻

Sounds like a nice evening rewarding yourself with this banana bread ☺️ thank you for trying the recipe out. I have other cake recipes you should try as well if you liked this one ❤️
Absolutely fantastic. It's a melt in ur mouth cake. It's moist and gets a slight crunch from the walnuts. I do recommend putting vanilla extract or vanilla powder but over all I definitely recommend it.
Back for a 2nd time 😁 I made this for my starbucks loving family member and she said, wow this taste like the starbucks banana bread 👍🏽😁 Great recipe! Thanks for sharing. I'm back and making it again for other banana bread loving family members 😁 [it's in the oven now] appreciate you making this video and sharing it with us.
The recipe is very good. I especially liked the fact that she gave the measurements in grams as well as cups. Especially in most of the recipes they say one banana or two bananas. The size of banana varies and hence the consistency of the batter varies. Thanks a lot for the recipe. The only changes I made was i added half a cup of compound chocolate and since I didn't have walnuts i added cashews. Everyone loved it.
I’m a horrible BAKER... Only can bake store bought cake mixes!! I made this twice in last 15 days without eggs using yogurt in an AIRFRYER!! It was amazing.. THANK YOU!! I’m from INDIA 🇮🇳❤️
Omg wow. That makes me so happy! I would have to try this in the air fryer. I can only imagine the results. Glad to have you here from India. Appreciate the support 😊
I'm literally have this recipe in the oven. I made it a couple times last year and omg so moist and the smell it leaves in the house it amazing. Thank you for the recipe girl
Just made this recipe but baked in a bigger pan for 40mins and substituted walnuts for pumpkin and sunflower seeds. So fluffy and delicious. Highly recommended!
Awesome recipe. I made this using almond milk, which often fails in recipes, but worked wonderfully! My new favorite. Thank you so much. Great instructions and hints.
I have tried Starbucks Banana Nut Bread. A friend gave me a $35.00 Starbucks gift card for Christmas, 2023. When I saw that they also sell Breakfast Sandwiches in addition to the Banana Nut Bread. Wow! The Starbucks BNB was the bomb! I’m going to try making it from scratch tomorrow morning! Thank you for sharing the added information touch of sprinkling the top of the bread with nuts and a sprinkle of oatmeal on top prior to placing the bread in the oven! I’ve been looking at BNB recipes on RUclips for about an hour! I’m tired now, but I’m looking forward to making your Starbucks version of the bread tomorrow. Thank you for sharing! Veronika
Just baked it yesterday and the best banana nut bread baked by me yet. And I did use kitchen aid stand mixer and mixed in the flour on low setting and it worked well. I added 2 bananas.. next time will add 3
Thank you for the recipe ❤. I just baked it. The recipe is super easy to make. I added a dash of cinnamon, zest of orange and a pinch of ground cloves. I also added some chopped baker's chocolate along with the walnuts. Tempting to slice it before it cools...😁
Thank you! I just made two loads right now. I usually make it with oil and no milk, but today I used your recipe but I like mine with cinnamon powder, vanilla and anise seeds. Again, thank you!
Thanks it turned out great. I'm 71 and retired, I cooked a loaf for my daughter and it is a good thing I didn't tell her because I was a bad boy and ate it all and no more bananas.
Cooked it today and my partner loves it. He said it was my best banana cake. Will try next time toasting a bit the walnuts as one suggested here. Thank you for sharing this.
Tried this recipe today and it turned out perfectly amazing! I added a bit of cinnamon and I used roasted almonds and cashews. I also sprinkled desiccated coconuts. It tasted so yummy. Thanks for sharing🎉

She saw your video and did the recipe step by step and let me tell you i witness her making this banana nut bread and she NAILED IT!!! All my 5kiddos including my daughter Alicia LOVED IT💞thank's so much for sharing this recipe lots of blessings your way just wanted to share with you oh by the way you have a NEW Subscriber here👋👋👋 Salute from Henderson,NV💙
Omg. You really made my day. I so appreciate this message, you have no idea. Blessings to you and your family. Your little girl is a little chef in the making for sure. I'm so happy you all loved it. I appreciate you. Lots of love your way hun ❤️❤️
I made this on mother's day. I doubled the recipe and it made three of the small foil loaf pans. I also made banana pudding that my family looovveessss but, this bread disappeared before the banana pudding. I love this recipe. I'm going to definitely use this again.
Excellent! I doctor it a bit. Instead of oats, I use granola. I tend out of oats, I added cardamom and raisins.... it was to die for. Made it for the week, my afternoon tea, but it was gone as soon as it cool off enough to eat! My family attacked it like like locusts! Thank you for your recipe!
This recipe has turned out to be a bomb😍. I replaced half the amount of sugar with jaggery powder and half the amount of flour with oats flour + added handful of granola mix . This is divine😘
I always make my banana bread in my crock pot. My house is not heated up in the summer and I set my crock pot on the porch. I use 4 bananas, 1 cup walnuts, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, vanilla, 1 cup avocado oil
Your banana bread looked very, very moist and soft. I thought I could smell it as soon as you took it out of your oven! lol You asked, my answer is yes I've tried Starbucks banana and pumpking bread. I wasn't impressed with either of them, they are too dry. I will say their Cranberry Bliss Bar was good, but what I had to pay for a slice that small, I could almost make an entire bar cake, which I have and mine was better. At least I thought it was and so did everyone else who tried it. I just feel Starbuck's prices are way to expensive for the products they make and seems like their prices are rising each holidays that comes around. Thank you so much of your recipe, as well as your pumpkin bread. Everything you make, that I've seen, looks delicious and I love your instructions and how easy it is to follow your directions. I know it's early, but I'd like to Wish You a Happy, Safe and a Very Mery Christmas and to your family. Thank you again for all of your recipes. You're truly the best. Linda from Granbury, Tx.
Results look GREAT! I highly appreciate that you give most of your ingredients by weight in grams as I have been using a scale in my baking for many years now and it has helped me tremendously in achieving repeatably consistent results. That said, I was about to make this recipe and noticed that your recipe calls for 2/3 cup granulated sugar at 85 grams. My experience is that 1 cup of granulated or packed brown sugar weighs 200 grams, so that the 2/3 cup sugar that your recipe calls for should weight 133 grams. Since I watched you put 2 (what you described as) 2/3 cups of sugar into your mixing bowl, I'm guessing your recipe should have read 133 grams. PS - I do realize the sweetness of the finished loaf is heavily dependent on the ripeness of the bananas so that the exact amount of sugar is not an absolute standard in making delicious banana bread.
Thanks for the detailed message. And you're probably right about the sugar in grams. I'm in the US, and we don't use the metric system here. So I'll update my ingredients list to show 133g lol. Thanks for clarifying, and trying out the recipe. You're right, the banana bread does depend on the sweetness of the ripe bananas, more than sugar alone. Thanks! Hope you subscribe and stick around for more 😊
@WhatsCookingWithFariyal yes,it was easy, I baked them in the airfryer at 160 ,using individual muffin tins to fit them into the airfryer, I also lined the tins with cupcake papers. They came out golden crisp outside and soft inside. I even topped them with the nuts and granola

Grandma knows best.they full of wisdom and smarts.dont argue with grandma right.
👍❤👏I Just made this banana bread. I double the recipe and got four lofts. I love this recipe my bread came out moist, soft and fluffy I use buttermilk instead of regular milk❤❤
That sounds delicious with buttermilk! Even more moist. Thanks for making it 😊
I just finished baking this banana bread and now sitting on the couch enjoy 2 pieces of it. I’d say it’s the best recipe i ever made. Thank you!
Back for a 2nd time 😁 I made this for my starbucks loving family member and she said, wow this taste like the starbucks banana bread 👍🏽😁
Great recipe! Thanks for sharing. I'm back and making it again for other banana bread loving family members 😁 [it's in the oven now] appreciate you making this video and sharing it with us.
Omg you truly made my day. I appreciate you making this for your family and for your kind words. This means so much ❤️❤️❤️
The recipe is very good.
Those alternatives sound like they made it very delicious. Thanks for trying the recipe.
Hi, I really want to make this but you never mention the temperature. Looks really delicious

Bread looks great. Another tip: place ripened bananas in freezer. Thaw before use. Like banana syrup, increases banana flavor.
I’m so excited to make this, starbucks banana bread is my favorite and this looks ever better!! Has anyone tried with the whole wheat flour?
Thank you! This one is better than the Starbucks one for sure. But comes very close. ❤️
I'm literally have this recipe in the oven. I made it a couple times last year and omg so moist and the smell it leaves in the house it amazing. Thank you for the recipe girl
Thanks for making it 😊
I made it twice. It is full of flavors, texture, and share with some colleagues at work. They simply liked it.
Thanks a lot
Thanks so much for trying.
Just made this recipe but baked in a bigger pan for 40mins and substituted walnuts for pumpkin and sunflower seeds. So fluffy and delicious. Highly recommended!
Thanks!
I just made this!!! It is soooo delicious!! Ieverybody asked for seconds!!! Thank you for sharing this recipe 🙏 Absolutely Delicious!!
Thanks for trying it 😊
Awesome recipe. I made this using almond milk, which often fails in recipes, but worked wonderfully! My new favorite. Thank you so much. Great instructions and hints.
Thanks for trying 😊
I love banana bread. Thanks for the variation.
You got it!
Veronika
Thanks Veronika. Let me know how it turns out! 🙂
Just baked it yesterday and the best banana nut bread baked by me yet. And I did use kitchen aid stand mixer and mixed in the flour on low setting and it worked well. I added 2 bananas.. next time will add 3
So great to hear that! Glad you love the recipe. Hope you try some of the other ones as well 😊
Best best recipes. moist, soft and flavorful. I made it yesterday. Thank you.
Thanks for making it 😊
Thank you for showing me how to make the banana nut bread haven't had it in a long time thank you.
I made this today and Add in some Sour cream and Vanilla and it turned out so perfect for Tea time for my the Family.
Thank you for the recipe ❤. I just baked it. The recipe is super easy to make. I added a dash of cinnamon, zest of orange and a pinch of ground cloves. I also added some chopped baker's chocolate along with the walnuts. Tempting to slice it before it cools...😁
Thanks for trying. Yours sounds delicious
The editing, the recipe! *chef's kiss*
Oh thanks!
Thank you! I just made two loads right now. I usually make it with oil and no milk, but today I used your recipe but I like mine with cinnamon powder, vanilla and anise seeds. Again, thank you!
Love this. Making it tomorrow
thank god ive found this channel binge-watching since yesterday so so so satisfying
Thanks so much
Thanks it turned out great.
Glad you made it and enjoyed it 😊
Update: I’ve tried toasting a bit the walnut as some suggested in the comments. I didn’t like it as I can’t taste the juicy nutty from the nuts.
Hello from Ukraine! ❤
Дякую!!! Печу вже третій раз! Подобається всій сім'ї!😋

Tried this recipe today and it turned out perfectly amazing!
I added a bit of cinnamon and I used roasted almonds and cashews. I also sprinkled desiccated coconuts. It tasted so yummy.

Thank you!!!
I just made this in air fryer 325f for 30min. So moist. Delish😋😋😋🎉omg cant stop eating it. Will be adding to my favorites list❤
In the air fryer??? Wow. I need to try that myself lol
Lol I'm so glad you and your family loved it. Cardamom sounds amazing in that. I think I'll try that next time.
I made it and received a lot of compliments from my family. Thank you for posting the recipe😊!
Thanks for making it and so glad your family loved it. It means a lot to me 🥰
This recipe has turned out to be a bomb😍. I replaced half the amount of sugar with jaggery powder and half the amount of flour with oats flour + added handful of granola mix . This is divine😘
The substitutes sound great, and I'll try it that way too. Thanks for making the recipe 😌
I thought I could smell it as soon as you took it out of your oven! lol
You asked, my answer is yes I've tried Starbucks banana and pumpking bread.
Thank you so much for this sweet message. Made my day 😊
Results look GREAT!
Thanks! Hope you subscribe and stick around for more 😊
The (2) 2/3 cups I put was 1/3 cup each, that's why I put it twice equaling to 2/3 cups.
I have been using your recipe. Tnks. This morning, i used airfryer to bake them into muffins for kids' breakfast.
That sounds like an easy way to make these! I will have to try as well. Thanks!
Sounds delicious. I've gotta try baking in an air fryer
