Mine too I love lemon 🍋 poppy seeds would be good too. Have you ever made blue berry lemon cake? I think you have to toss blue berries in flour so they dont sink to the bottom. I am going to do the banana bread tonight maybe this one tomorrow ... soon. Fresh blue berries on top would be good and edible pansies to garnish for easter. Thanks for the recipe. Love love love lemon!🍋🤗💖

Can I do this with a lemon Betty crocker cake mix.. thank you for giving me a shout out and getting back because this is one of my favorite. Cakes also I love. Carrot cake an orange cake. Maybe you'll get around making one of those. Let me know if I can use a box cake mix for this.

@@perryrice4149 hey Sherry. Nice to hear from you again. You can surely use a lemon box cake just for ease, but it won't take like this homemade one. It's really up to you what you want to do in your kitchen but I prefer to make homemade baked goods because you know what ingredients are being used. In my opinion the boxed cakes have too many unknown ingredients that I stay away from.

    • @WhatsCookingWithFariyal

Yes you can. Typically for muffins it should be between 18-20 mins. But every oven is different, so just keep an eye out on them after 15 mins, insert a toothpick to see if they're done, and you'll know. But 18-20 mins is perfect.

It should be about the same amount of oil like the butter. And canola oil or coconut oil would be good. Other people have tried it with coconut oil, and their results seemed to have been good. Hope that helps for the banana bread.
