Okay this is by far my most favourite video you’ve done! The intro, the voiceover, the music and the way you edited it all together. Such an epic video!! Please keep making more videos no matter what it is! You always inspire me to keep creating. Thank you!
Man, that laugh and excited walk when you go to grab the drone after landing... Only a drone pilot relates. Nothing like that feeling knowing you just got a SICK shot. I just bought the mini 2, making me wish I got fpv first 😂😂
Dude the laugh/ walk knowing that you got it back in one piece is everything in fpv. Like at any moment so many things can go wrong that any day where my $300 drone and $400 camera make it back in one piece is a good day! And yeah I saw on your story that you got it, making me jealous I bet it’ll be sweet!
Hahaha yeah that is soo true. I get nervous with my drone in the sky but at least it'll fly back itself if something goes wrong. And yes do that!! Honestly the mini 2 footage from what I've seen looks as good as mavic footage but you don't need that license! Occusync was a huge upgrade!
Nice! I remember my first fpv flights... definitely shouldve spent more time on the sim beforehand. but it was still the best feeling! and the worst feeling when i nosedived into the ground and spun across the field. haha!
Im only halfway through the video, but this is awesome man. The story telling is great and the shots are great. Keep it up. Just go my 5"Quad flying today!
Congrats man! Just getting into fpv and your journey inspires me to keep going. I’ve had similar “oops” technical challenges, but clearly the results in the end are worth it.
super jelli!~!~! been flying pack after pack in my tiny hawk 2 for months and still don't feel confident enough to fly N' dive a bigger 5" quad w/ a go pro
Nice video! I am so glad you are getting into the hobby! I do recommend you upgrade your antennas though, as it will allow you to fly further with confidence. Have a nice day!
Hey Joey this is so awesome! Great story telling in this one man and I really felt your pain when the drone was struggling to get off the ground in the beginning. Its so frustrating when you just want everything to work but fpv is like its own science so its been so fulfilling to learn all these knew skills. Amazing flying for only 2 weeks as well man! Subscribed and looking forward to seeing more
I appreciate the kind words thank you! You’re exactly right, at the beginning it definitely felt like 1 step forward, 3 back... now that I’ve got 2 working quads all I want to do is fly lol! Thanks for stopping in, I’m so glad I was recommended your fpv video because it was truly awesome!
The cheapest ones I could find lmao.they’re the Eachine ev100. Theyre not bad for the money but in all honestly Im using them more like a placeholder for me until I move to digital next year!
Very nice👍 Have you done any SIM flying before? For two weeks of flying it is a very impressive progress👍 What goggles are you using? Couldn't see any brand name in descriptuon? If they are eachine ev100 you definately need to get better antennas and also they have very small fov. I would rather go for something with bigger fov. Ive been flying fpv about 8 months now but with some breaks ( with young family I dont have as much time as I would like to have for my hobby :( I love my 3s 2.5" happy model larva x, fast little ripper. Also have 5" quad. Now Im waiting for dji goggles. I couldnt resist them:) Image quality is sooo much better in them.
Hey thanks for the nice comment! So I actually put out a video last week that dives deeper into my first ever experience with fpv. I used the sim for a long time before I ever flew in real life. As for the gear, they are ev100s. I’ve since upgraded to better antennas but I’m not going to do anything else in the video department until the spring when I too will go the dji route!
m8 i legit didnt go in simulator and started flying that bad boy irl i have flown for around 5 mins max cuz first liftoff i ncoght that bad boy with my hands and now my fingerprint aint working cuz i lobbed a bit of flesh from my finger...... yes good
Drop a like if you guys are into FPV!
I hope so but my pocket say no
This was a mini-movie! & that shot at the end was money 💰
Appreciate the love as always! I see you commenting all the time 👌🏼👌🏼
Such a quality video man keep up the good work and remember “consistency is key” much love brother
Love seeing how exited and happy you are! Great video.
I dig it man. Nice 90 second journey. Keep sending!

Fuck yeah dude this comment rocks! Thanks for the sweet words man I really appreciate this!

I might try and sell off my mavic pro (original) and swap for a mini 2. The size is just so appealing and with ocusync 2 it seems like such a good buy

I'll be making lots of videos when I get it.

Hahaha I know that nose dive feeling all too well!
Love this!
Love you 😘
Gonna build one soon. Thanks for the video. Just noticed same last name too! Kickass😝
EXCELLENT! I'm 3 days in on week #1 and enjoy the inspiration!
Keep it up homie you’ve got this!
Nice start man! Subbed. Enjoy flying.
This was very motivational for me, I do cinematic flying mostly and really want to try fpv
Well put together video. Thanks for not giving up when you couldn’t get it it fly and thanks sharing your journey with us Bro
Appreciate that man thank you! Yeah it was a struggle to say the least but I’m not
Someone that likes to give up easily haha
@@Joey.Alford that’s inspirational. Keep it up. I’m subbing !
Thank you!!
YO, your editing is sick!
LOL'd at 0:37 !
Seriously impressive progression!
The casual damn got y’a eh? Thanks man it was a slow build but definitely worth it haha
Amazing video, I love it when it goes shooting up trees and revealing the view for miles. 🤟
It actually climbs so fast it’s crazy!
Im only halfway through the video, but this is awesome man. The story telling is great and the shots are great. Keep it up. Just go my 5"Quad flying today!
Thanks so much that means a ton! Happy you’re out there rippin, keep it up and thanks for watching 👍🏼👍🏼
Congrats man! Just getting into fpv and your journey inspires me to keep going. I’ve had similar “oops” technical challenges, but clearly the results in the end are worth it.
Thank you! Yeah it’s definitely been a bumpy ride so far but you’re absolutely right in that it’s so worth jt
I would take better antennas 😅.
I’ve since got better ones haha!
I am about to give up. I bought everything but never got guts to fly. Your video encourage me to try again.
Great video man
Thank you!
Hello im just wondering are you located in canada
That looks like silver creek conservation area
Awesome!! I'm flying LOS right now but am hoping to get goggles within a couple weeks. Very cool progress and final shot, man.
super jelli!~!~! been flying pack after pack in my tiny hawk 2 for months and still don't feel confident enough to fly N' dive a bigger 5" quad w/ a go pro
Lovely!
Nice video! I am so glad you are getting into the hobby! I do recommend you upgrade your antennas though, as it will allow you to fly further with confidence. Have a nice day!
Thanks for watching and for the tip Adam!
I now have the same skill and knowledge I had before watching this video. Thanks!
At least I didn’t make you dumber hahaha
Hey this is a great video!
All that within 2 weeks? That's pretty impressive! Hope one day to get a FPV
great video man, just shows what practice can do. I'm taking my first flight this weekend.
Thank you! Best of luck to you I’m sure you’ll love it!
Thoroughly entertained the whole time👌
Thanks dude! So happy you’re into it
Cool man, nice s5 btw!
Haha thanks! Shes away for the winter right now, cant wait for the spring
Does it feel like you’re flying when wearing the goggles? I paraglide and sometimes the views via the FPV look almost as cool.
NIce video man, very cool 🚁💨
Nice flight! I noticed all of your flights are kinda jittery. Is it an effect? It's like it's missing frames but with fps increased.
Hey Joey this is so awesome! Great story telling in this one man and I really felt your pain when the drone was struggling to get off the ground in the beginning. Fully acro mode?
Great video did you use sims for practice and did u learn from scratch in acro mode?
Thank you! If you look at the video befor the one you just watched you can get a deeper look at the process! But yeah sim a ton in acro mode
Wow 🤩 subbed ✌🏼
Nicely done. You just got a big thumbs up from me and a new subscriber here. cheers
What a nice comment! Thanks so much I’m be very happy you enjoyed this video 👍🏼
niiiice bro; lets go; time for some winter flying to put you through the ringer!
Cold hands and water damage from snow? Sounds sick let’s do it!!
@@Joey.Alford Frozen Waterfall for the first waterfall dive? ;)
wait wait wait.. Why not just get a 6s battery instead of swapping the motors..? You made it less powerful by doing that i think right??
Straight to the moon with some of them takeoffs on your 5-in 🤣🤣
After learning on the cinewhoop, the power of the 5” is intoxicating hahaha
Madness love it
What goggles are you using? They’re not in the description. Cool mini documentary 😀
Hey thanks! I’m using ev100s. To be honest they aren’t super good. I’m just sticking with them until I get a dji digital setup next year.
Nice video. Wouldn't it have been easier to buy 6s batteries instead of replacing motors? :)
100% easier. I just already had 10 4s packs and didn’t want to switch hahaha
Nice brother 🤘 Fpv is sick right !!😜😜
What googles u using
The cheapest ones I could find lmao.they’re the Eachine ev100. Theyre not bad for the money but in all honestly Im using them more like a placeholder for me until I move to digital next year!
Two weeks or seven days?
7 flight days over a 2 week period
Bro i love to get into this, only if my wallet can afford it (im only 13)
i also have a question are gopros better then built in cameras in drones?
Very nice👍 Have you done any SIM flying before?

Odds you dive through the sunroof and out the side window
Don’t tempt me
Learning to Fly, what a wonderful feeling isn't it?
Agreed 100%
Dude! Did you backflip your drone after the dive? Damn man!
Oh dude these things can do mad flips.. a simple flip was just so I can loop it for Instagram lmao! You’ll see next week hahaha
Cool
how does this guy like not have 1 million subs i honestly thought he was some big channel... awesome stuff man!
m8 i legit didnt go in simulator and started flying that bad boy irl i have flown for around 5 mins max cuz first liftoff i ncoght that bad boy with my hands and now my fingerprint aint working cuz i lobbed a bit of flesh from my finger...... yes good
Did he really get upset and downgrade his first drone.
Just saying he could have gotten a different battery instead of replacing the motor
I did. But mostly bc I wasn’t ready to shell out the cost diff between 4s and 6s packs. I now have 12 lipos. It adds up
Man instead of changing out the motors why not just buy A 6S battery way more powerful!
I know right? If only I could go back
Yessss guyyyy
Start on a sim ! Period.
JoeyFPV
Has a ring to it eh hahaha
You overdramatized this way too much
