AUTO FANATICA | RANGE ROVER Evoque | REVIEW 2019 | (2014) | Freelander replacement? not really.
Baby Range Rover? Replacement for the Freelander? No matter what they intended, it's an expensive crosser with marmite looks but spacious airy cabin and reasonable driving credentials. Similar to the Range rover and Jaguar models in many ways, it does seem quite classy from the inside.
Probably not a very capable 4x4 but I don't really think crossers like these were really intended for that. Not too bad a choice for car review 2019. The interior looked classy but was missing one or two things I would have expected for something like this. During our in depth review we carried out an interior look over, UK road test and talked over some things I liked and some that I didn't.
Pros: low cabin noise, high driving position, classy interior, pano roof
Cons: Expensive repairs, strange appearance, low spec for price point, clattery diesel
