Shout out to my man Junpei not really having a DP at all. Its genuinely better as a combo tool compared to its intended purpose.

Junpei's isn't even that bad, it just has poor range and really long recovery. It's the fastest DP in the game though, so it has that going for it and it has really good use in combos as you've already mentioned

For those who see this and think "this is ridiculous" keep in mind that in persona punish damage and pressure are very strong overall. It makes more sense once you actually play the game

I wouldn't have minded grab DP's the way they are if it wasn't for the fact that you can tech them. I find that weird, normally you can't tech command grabs so why can you with DP grabs?

Because you get shocked from his DP? You can use the hop system mechanic once he starts activating the super to avoid it, even while shocked.
