Fun fact at 3:32: The match with Nagakawa is widely considered to be the worst match ever in the history of either the PDC or BDO World Championships, where both players averaged 54. The standard was so poor, that Sky Sports stopped broadcasting it halfway through.
How unprofessional,a guy in our local won a match with an average of 17 the torrent of advice on where to go and the audible questing of his parentage dented his confidence to such an extent that he set fire to the steak pie and melted his darts into a phallic symbol his name believe or not was Richard Head.
Bet the PDC/BDO was like: “this sucks, stop broadcasting it”.
Had they both bet on the opponent to win ?

When you see the pros completely miss everything. It reminds you of how hard this game actually is
Think its mostly stage fear. When i play as a casual at home i throw bettet than some of these lads. Reckon its different when u get up on that stage.

True story:
my mother once attended a tournament were the winner would have a best of 5 game vs Scholten. If you'd win you would get a weekend holiday to London for 2 people.
My mother, playing quite light darts, always went for the triple 19 instead of the 20. She threw at least 1 triple 19 every turn and she won that game from Scholten 3-1 in legs. And Scholten said 'I did let you win, you know.'

It’s hard to play when you have someone who is just a bag of nerves infront if you. Adams just never tried to go to PDC he was definitely good enough

At his best he average in the mid 90s, he could have made a PDC World QF.

It’s true I’m 14 playing for a local darts team I used to have nerves and avarage only about 40 something but still manage to find myself on a double I just came off a 4 game unbeaten streak my record this season plus cups are 11-3
