Imagine out of an entire career of counting thousands and thousands of darts, your mistakes highlight reel only lasts about 3 total minutes. I feel like that is the true testament to how good these counters are. If you made a highlight reel of all my mistakes at work, it would be at lot longer than this, haha.

@@blademaster9297 These are just examples but you can clearly see the confusion when someone throw an unpredicted combination. Happens at least once every single match.

I remember watching the Taylor wright one at 4:05. I was screaming at my tv. Taylor most likely would have won anyway. But man, Russ was having himself a moment

4:50 - Russ Bray thought the first dart was IN the outer Bull. Thus he calculated 25+51+8=84, which would mean a bust. Manley then showed him what he hit and Russ corrected himself. Otherwise, there is no way he would have called a bust.
So you just repeated what happened? Well done!

I dont envy them anyway having to count it all so fast, but imagine Russ Bray now, I imagine he likes a drop, he dont have to worry about playing, touring around, go out to pubs and get pissed and have a good time. wonder he dont make more mistakes

@@Notterdam1 he has to take the caller's decision. The caller acts as a sort of "referee".
Lots 7:05 Newton is a fair player and tells Russ that it's a 123 not a 180. Phil could have told him that it's outside.
3:10 Taylor making sure to grab the "double 12" dart first before it can be corrected, snake.
Almost all moments were result just of the tiredness, but 7:55 is my favourite...) just couldn't stop laughing)

Dylan Gantrich when the game reaches the final set you have to win by two. Then if it reaches 5 legs all they throw for the bull to see who has the darts in the sudden death leg. Paul hinks just forgot to have them throw for the bull
@@tobyprice6655 don't know why you're explaining that to me cause like i said, Cristo made it very clear to Hinks (as far as he could since he barely speaks any English) that he was doing something wrong and he should've gotten the hint. Stopping play and have them start all over again in the middle of the leg because of his ignorance is idiotic.

I feel for these refs, you have to be super fast at adding up, while I'm still trying to add up the first 3 darts when the leg is finished. However, none of us are perfect, and making mistakes is part of the human condition. But when they do it on a stage in from of a crowd, and a huge tv audience, there is nowhere for them to hide. God bless you lads 😊

Score callers and markers make mistakes because they are human, its funny but can cause the Players to lose their minds.

Poke TV. The referee miscounted and told Taylor he required 30 instead of 32. The player has to do what he is told to, so that counted as game shot even though he didn't checkout 32.

I lost all respect for Taylor now seeing him not correcting the ref when the ref called the leg for him when he missed the double.
Look these are very minor and very few mistakes by the refs considering just how many games they are part of every single year. Everyone gets brain freeze every now and then and in all cases when the mistake was alerted to them they corrected it. Can the same be said of the ref's in Football???? Give them a break for gods sake. Jeez. I'd like to see some of you lot doing it this fast when the players are up to collect their darts barely after the darts have landed and then the next player is throwing barely after the other player has walked off the oche. They are human beings for goodness sake. You would think no one here ever made a minor mistake like this. No one died. Good grief.
You really shouldn't get angry. I, or nobody else, have ever said that PDC refs can't do their job because of the mistakes shown in this video. I personally love all of them and I know their job is difficult as hell. This video is just to smile, not to hate.

Mmmm. You don't know what you're talking about.
There's literally over 50 tournaments that are televised or streamed in Europe and two or three in the US. I can assure you Americans make more errors per dart thrown.
And it's not because they're stupid but because they're used to soft tip darts, in which a machine does the numbers for ya.

I don't remember ever seeing so many errors when the callers and scorers were more low key and focused entirely on their tasks rather than trying to be part of the event.Russ Bray (as in donkey) is horrendous and the worse example,making a meal out of calling a score rather than being efficient,it's also unfair on the other player who has to wait for him and the crowd to shut up and settle possibly spoiling their rhythm.I always hit 'mute' when he's gobbing off.
