Love Price! hes been a much needed character for Darts in the modern era, his rise to the top has been incredible to witness
Nobody should be hating on this man. He's great for the game of Darts and an unbelieveable player, yes he's had bust ups in the past but who cares it shows his true commitment and passion for the game!

What an absolute gentleman, I really enjoyed this one and I could honestly sat listening to another hour or two, the chemistry between you all in this one was spot on, all sounded like you was enjoying yourselves too! And Price, what an absolute legend. Class
His performance in Belfast in premier league was amazing to say the least,beat MVG who was playing awesome as well,threw 2 nine darters,had to play great again in final against Wade to win.He’s won me over

I think he says some really wanky things when he loses sometimes but he's passionate and amazing to watch

I never had an issue with him I liked the fact he was quite health conscious and into training as well as darts and not just succumb to the usual jabba the hut body type like a lot of darts players
There’s a happy medium though. He still looks like Jabba the Hut, despite the fact that it’s muscle rather than fat. The meathead, cubic body shape isn’t a good look either.

Absolute minefield of a crowd when everyone is 15 pints in before the main event and Gerwyn playing the pantomime villan and being a Welsh man in a mostly an English crowd the guy deserves the title of "THE ICE MAN".
Easily my favourite darts player, what a man !! Gwarn pricey, legend. Brings a bit of passion to the sport very refreshing.

Ronnie is mostly pretty dull to listen to because he's a pretty sad man.
Gezzy has been my favourite player since I really took a liking to darts in late ‘18 and now I just like him even more. He’s such a wonderful guy and hopefully the crowds tone down the booing because it’s beyond ridiculous now. Happy birthday to Gezzy too 🥳😇🙌🏻

He's a great player and a great character, I felt sorry for him at the World Champs, biggest game of the year and the crowd gave him a terrible time.
Will always be my favourite player, and I’m English so there’s no country bias or anything like that, he’s just a top bloke and class darts player.
Met gerwyn on a stag do in Benidorm and he was absolutely sound 👌🏼 always rooted for him ever since 💪🏼

He’s just passionate about his game and sometimes, very occasionally, he goes a little step overboard. Watched a lot of interviews with the guy and he’s more humble than you’d think
I live near him in markham, he’s genuinely a normal bloke, you often see him doing building work, or generally talking with everyone. Just like a normal bloke, fair play

I personally am a big fan of gezzy anyway, when he’s firing on full cylinders he’s a joy to watch! Clearly a lovely guy off the stage too
I met Gerwyn in 2020 just before lockdown when i was working in Nottingham and he was playing there we were in the same hotel, we were in the lift together and briefly spoke and I recognised him right away and we spoke for like a minute or two and i will be honest from my small knowledge of darts I had an assumption he was the arsehole of darts, but honestly he was very friendly, we had a brief laugh and i left that thinking how stupid I was for buying into this persona or public view of him. He came across how he comes across from this podcast, a genuine bloke who was nothing like people made out. Glad to see his rise and hope it continues.

Tbh, he came across a decent guy in this. I can understand the boos sometimes when he’s been unsportsmanlike in defeat.
He comes across as decent but can't ignore how he doesn't understand why he's not liked. Anyone who isn't an egotistical tw** can see his attitude on stage is embarrassing
For me, it’s more the fact that he’s unsportsmanlike in victory. I don’t usually judge people too much on their behaviour when they’ve lost, as that’s a difficult situation. His celebrations and reactions on stage are over the top and disrespectful.

I think a big point in this was the fact that when he spoke about his bust up with Anderson, the host said, he’s a bit fiesty as well isn’t he?
It would have been easy and safer for price to just say yeh he is, but he actually defended Gary Anderson and said no, he’s not, he’s actually very chilled and not fiesty at all.
I’ll also say, he mentioned that Gary started that by pushing him up the oche, but price made contact with Gary, that’s why Gary pushed him.
I’m Scottish and have a Welsh wife and have lived in wales now for 17 years, and in price and Clayton, wales has two cracking players to be proud of!
Definitely need more darts related content or more darts players on the pod

Gezzy for me is great for the sport, bit of needle, bit of pomp, gives it large when he needs to, I do think he gets carried away at times, but considering the game is getting more and more like that and it seems only certain players get booed for it, it's ridiculous the amount of hate The Iceman gets

I've always liked Gezzy. Always thought Gary having words with him and celebrating right after is hella cold. Love the guy and as a darts lover I love him even more.
People only “hate” Gerwyn in the context of the darts world, because he’s not someone who embraces the ridiculous crowds like Peter Wright, because he screams every time he hits a 180 it comes across as very ‘jock-like’ which people don’t like in darts. People go to darts for the fun time, seeing people take it very seriously like Gerwyn kinda bums them out, but I don’t think many people actually hate him for it. It’s perfectly understandable that for him to be at the top of his game that’s what he needs to do, and I think people respect that outside of darts and see him as a gentleman outside of it, but within the world of darts they want the out there over the top characters and Gerwyn just isn’t that.
I think its near impossible to be a top level sportsman without having some showmanship and arrogance, unfortunately for Gerwyn due to his sheer ability to take the jeers from the crowd on the chin, he's received more than most. But hes clearly a lovely genuine bloke and you simply have to respect him if you're any sort of darts fan regardless of loyalties.

Love Gerwyn.. no bias being a Welshman myself but he's exciting. Listening to these interviews makes you realise Darts has THE best down to earth lads, and its as simple as that.. Dart is a gentleman's game and I fuckin love it.
The bloke is always being arrogant on stage (which is fine) but the crowd has the right to give it back. If he doesn't want to take it, don't give it out

I know someone who played rugby with gerwyn. Apparently for years he was better at pool and rugby than he was at darts. Then the time and effort he put into darts caught up.

I dont know why Gerwyn gets the hate he does. In my opinion, hes a legend on and off the Oche. Hes passionate about the game, and shows it in his matches. Top player all round!

Top player, and I think he's matured alot. I think the Anderson incident, liking a fb comment mocking Durrants bell palsy and the tendency to not shake hands when he gets beaten has stuck in people's minds. However I think his performances are bringing people round and the boos won't last forever. Can't be as he's Welsh as Clayton doesn't get any stick really, as he's such a gentleman

I was thrown out of Ally Pally for supporting Gezzy at that Michael Smith game. It was disgusting to see the abuse that he got. When we gave it back to them, we were the ones thrown out, not the people abusing us.
How he puts up with it I don’t know, fair play to Gezzy for doing his best to block it out.
