Exactly what I’m going through right now! I really appreciate this video! I have a 2017 F450. I just replace the reductant heater in the DEF tank and then it through a code for the current being too low.

Had a question I put the new line in with absolutely no problems. Thanks to you! Hook my scanner back up to it cleared the code shut the key back off started the engine up and the check engine light didn’t come back up. I took the truck for a drive stopped shut the engine off turn the engine back on and the light came back on. Plugged it back in and it’s showing the same thing. It still says that line there’s low current. Do you have any suggestions what I should do going forward?

The ford dealer did say it would be covered under my extended warranty I have protective warranty it will cost me $100.00 i seen the price from ford was $192.73 they said checking it was like $90.00 and with labor would have been over $400.00 sure glad I got the warranty nothing is cheap.

The line has secondary lock. You need to push the QC toward the pump to disengage.

My code just came on last week. Waiting couple months for ford to replace it since it’s still under warranty

My buddy says he thinks it was around $120 or so. He also took it to the dealer to see if it would be a warranty item but it wasn’t. The dealer wanted $160 ish for the part, from what he can remember. They also wanted around $700 to install it. Any other questions I’m usually pretty quick to answer.
