I want to delete my egr and do a ccv reroute and full intercooler piping but my 19 is still under warranty and I know if anything happens I’ve got a ton of stock parts to put back on before a dealer can see it. Love your vids I’ve been watching for a while and they’ve helped me with a ton of stuff ever since I got my truck 🇺🇸
I don't have a piping kit yet, but the damn egr cooler is leaking coolant into my exhaust like crazy. Time to come off!

With egr removed did you increase power and mileage.
It’s hard to say. It does feel a little more responsive, but maybe that’s in my head. I do think it warms up quicker now though. It would take forever to get to operating temps or blow hot air. But it seems to do that quicker now. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Hey Brother, did you ever move the probe from the DPF to the block off plate. Also you wouldn't know the OEM part number for the probe off the DPF, I scraped my space shuttle before I decided to delete the EGR cooler and do a piping kit.

Colt did you attach the bracket in the back right side that had the hoop on it? The kit I got came with a bracket to attach it to a bolt but I can’t figure out how to attach it.

I just broke my EGR bolt and I've ordered the kit that will align the old bot with the new drill bits, etc from Pro max kit. I'll rent it out to anyone that needs it.

You still have that kit? The drivers side bolt sheared off on mine. I have about a half inch of threads above the block. Gonna try the nut and weld. 🤞🏻I really don’t want to pull the intake to get a better angle but guess I’ll have a latte in the meantime.

Hey Brother as always great informative no BS video. I had my truck deleted several months ago, the guy that did it turned off the EGR with the tune and left all components on the truck. I’m wanting to do a piping kit now so I’m gonna remove the EGR cooler following your instructions and my question is whether or not it will mess up anything as far as my tune when I unplug it, or should I be be good to go?
You will be good to go. You can unplug it and take egr off. Nothing more you need to do.

Love all of your videos. You're a damn good American and you explain it in a way us lay folks can understand. Looking to "repair" the DPF on a 2018 F250. Pros and Cons of just unplugging the EGR vs. removing it? Also pros and cons of deleting the CCV? Are removing these both necessary? Can leaving them in place be bad for the motor down the road?
My man, thanks for watching brother! I’d just unplug the EGR. Only reason I took it out was to fit my piping kit. 99% of people just unplug it. And it depends on what CCV you have. They have changed them. But they can get blocked up and cause pressure issues, that’s how a lot of upper oil pans leak. I do like SPE CCV kit. It’s nice and can’t get clogged up. If you want to keep factory one just make sure you get the new style one. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
@@COLTSWAY You bet bro! You're bringing a lot of light to this world. Thanks for your service too. I have the factory CCV that came with the truck. I recently had a new upper oil pan done and had them change the CCV filter at that time. He recommended changing it every 30k miles.

I have a question about the EGT sensor. I understand after delete you must swap out with the sensor from the DPF to get it to read correctly but

My man! Thank you brother. I am not 100% sure why. All the reading I did about it just said it has sometime to do with the wiring internals of the plugs. But you only need to swap it if you use block off plates. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Good video as always. I’m about to do a high flow dpf. I wish they made an intake piping kit with the egr in place but man do they look good when it’s just a motor, turbo, and piping. Question for you...do you have to unplug the egr or will the tuning just shut it off?
You don’t have to unplug it, the tune turns it off. I just always unplug. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

@@COLTSWAYHey Brother, I know it’s been awhile since this video but I just did this mod along with the intake piping kit and ccv re route just last week. I thought I’d let you know when pulling my EGR out I damaged the fuel return line and injector. Those plastic connectors are right there under the EGR and I guess I snagged one. Plus it broke the tube off the injector. Just wanted to throw this in the comments in case it saves someone else this problem. All the research I did before hand didn’t see this mentioned by anyone. Hey C, today was the big day, thanks to your videos I finally got the courage to deal with them EGR cooler damn bolts and remove the cooler to install the block off plates. I on blast them for almost a month regularly and it was incredible easy to break them loose, I was very happy not having to deal with a broken bolt. Also I reroute the coolant hoses with a Kit from Pusher and looks really good, and also replaced the thermostat with one from SPE, they assure it runs cooler with this thermostat, especially in this southern Texas summer. I haven’t checked the CGT with Ezlynk as you recommended but I have check engine light or warnings. When I learn how to send pics in RUclips I’ll send you a couple. Thank you for your videos that make possible to us to do all this things. I’m very proud of what I did today bro. Thank you!!!

No. You have to delete your truck. Run non emissions tunes. You can’t do it without the tunes. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

@@COLTSWAY Im thinking about running it into my exhaust. The fitting I have pulls a slight vacuum. What I haven’t found is if anyone has metered the amount of flow back into the intake there is with stock setup to match that flow on the exhaust.
