- A note about Durnehviir: The summonable version is at a static level 20. However, the original one whom you fight in the Soul Cairn has a level cap of 70 (although he is much weaker than generic dragons of a similar level). This is the Durnehviir you see in this video.

Dude, the Durnehviir intro was absolute perfection. I think it was also really cool that the keepers managed to win against him. I defintiely didn't think they would.

Yeah, Durnehviir is surprisingly weak. He's about comparable to a Blood Dragon (except for the summons).
Cinematics just keeps getting better and better! This video also points out the DPS is quite essential. Gathrik could not keep up because his dps could not stack up (even though he had the advantage). Great videos and keep up the good work!

Poor Arch Curate Vyrthur did not learn the tactic that players use when they set their difficulty too high and engage a melee enemy that is too powerfull in combat which is to keep holding your distance. The Forgemaster winning against the Soul Cairn Keeper was suprising because only Lurker Vindicator seemed to be the stronger enemy in the heavy hitter category with Soul Cairn Keeper on the 2nd place.
Vyrthur's AI is just gargabe. 😂 The Forgemaster did better than I thought too! His fire attack is devastating and the main reason why he won. 🔥
The fight is impressive, the three keepers are terrifying.
The warrior Keeper is evenly matched with the forgemaster, and who is a draw, it's amazing.
And for those who commented, I was delighted to see Durnehviir in one of the battles, and in the boss fight version.
For the last fight, the cutscene is perfect, the two keepers showing up and stopping to introduce themselves and leaving.
and Durnehviir coming.......by ysmir, he's amazing came into the scene. 🤩

Another awsome video! It amazes me as a viewer how you can come up with these. You should have mercer Frey against Astrid.
Thank you! 😁 I try to think of setups for some NPCs and also consider requests by viewers, then I come up with random stuff like the cutscenes as I go. It's fun being creative!

Keepers are so interesting. Deal alot of damage. I wonder if you will ever use the reaper in battles. Though he is pretty weak does no damage lol
The Keepers are some of my favorite creatures to use in battles! And I would like to use the Reaper, but he only attacks using his spit, which is really boring to watch. So probably not 😂
Update: I have experimented a bit and found out why that is, and made a patch that fixes it. I'm not sure if he was intended to use melee or not, but anyway, I might as well dedicate an episode to him sometime 😎

@@callumtorrance9180 Yes! Only 48 points per hit (double with a power attack). This is worse than a Draugr Scourge 😵

BTW I think if you give concentration spell destruction spells to Dragon Priests, their AI would be better I think.

Actually, they're much worse then. I've noticed it a lot with Zahkriisos. His AI isn't different, but he keeps missing with his shock spell, and it's really frustrating trying to include him in videos :/

We finally see Durnehviir, quite an interesting dragon, how does his stats overall compare to say an ancient dragon. And Vyrthur should of won imao. It could go either way between Gathrik keeper, same with forgemaster. Also do you think you could do more boss type battles, like the one with miraak or harkon?
Durnehviir's damage is the same as that of a frost Blood Dragon. In theory, it could go all the way up to the damage of a frost Ancient Dragon, but I'm not sure if his script really allows that. I've never seen that, and I don't remember him being difficult to beat whenever I played. 🤷 As for his HP, it is pretty low for a dragon, and he's missing the Dragon Skin perk which gives generic dragons a lot of damage resistance.
I have done all of those rounds many times, like in most of my videos. 😄The Keeper beat Gathrik consistently, at least 90% of the time. I also made sure Gathrik had the best possible gear here, so that makes it even more convincing. The Forgemaster on the other hand is pretty much equal to the Keeper!
I'm currently working on a new episode with Harkon! 😁 It'll take a while for that to get released though, because I pre-produce and schedule my videos, and usually upload them in the order I made them.

@@elric5371 I explained it in the description. The Durnehviir in this video is the boss version. The Wiki only shows the stats of the summonable one 😄

Thanks! 😁 I don't play the Anniversary Edition, sorry. 😅 Most of that content is something I neither need nor want in my game, and updating would break some mods like the floating healthbars, so I stick with the Special Edition 😄

Warlord Gathrik is too underpowered, he should be twice as powerful as a Death Overlord just based off his size.
He does 25% more melee damage because of his 25% increased scale, which I consider good enough. 😄He doesn't have more health or better resistance though (as opposed to what the Wiki claims), so that's a bit disappointing.

Yeah, that's normal, because Dragon Priests can appear as bosses in some leveled draugr lists. 😄 Fun fact: Gathrik as a draugr does 25% additional melee damage due to his size, but if he spawns as a Dragon Priest, his spells don't get pushed, even though he's still 25% bigger than other Dragon Priests

A suggestion for a giant project that you didn't ask for. Would be neat to see a Skyrim factions tournament. I feel like an 8 team bracket would be doable, 16 maybe, but it would be a stretch. Maybe get creative and have the Skyrim dragon priests, keepers+ Durnehviir, Solstheim priests+ Miraak. Each battle could be a separate video.
My next video is actually going to be a tournament! A lot of NPCs wouldn't work though, such as Dragon Priests, because their AI is incredibly bad and it would be too frustrating to make a tournament with them. 😅 I also tend to keep my videos rather short, so I would try to fit everything in a single episode. Otherwise, I'd be spending weeks on this and lose motivation.

Imo forgemasters should spawn in dwemer ruins instead of cent masters at level 80 or 100. Masters are sick too, but they die too soon.
Also for creation club modders, a staff that summons a forgemaster that fights for you. You need an unique item created for this staff, otherwise this doesn't work.
I wish the regular Centurion Masters were stronger, but meeting additional Forgemasters would be cool too, yeah! 🤔

EW is the strongest Warrior and those 3 have the highest Magic DPS.

The thing that cripples the high-tier Dwarven automatons really is their low hp and/or their low armor or lack of it. They actually deal quite a lot of damage (if they hit their target, that is) and can make short work of even the more powerful npcs.
I just find it ridiculous that, say, a Dwarven Centurion Master can just barely beat a giant.
Perfectly explained! It's weird that they don't have armor rating, considering they're almost entirely made from metal.
I'm still looking for a way to fix the issue with them not hitting smaller targets with their steam attacks at close range. At least the Keeper is tall enough to take full damage, so it's not a problem in this video 😄

Vyrthur is horrible against NPC’s, I don’t know why.
He would be a very dangerous warrior, with an impressive armor rating and high damage. But instead, he rarely uses his dagger and prefers magic instead, combined with a bad overall AI 😂

@@lSlendermaster I think it’s because I managed to dodge the keeper’s attacks everytime because they were so slow but I couldn’t do that with Vyrthur due to how fast he was.
