Trying this again for the 3rd time and I’ve finally got it 🎉 I’ve been crocheting over a year now and I’ve learned so much along the way. It’s a gorgeous and unique texture. Your tutorial is very well done. 💞
I made this blanket as a wedding gift. It came out so well. The directions in the video were very clear, very accurate and the blanket was perfect. Thank you so much!
*Your energy and spirit of excitement is contagious!* The geometric design of this blanket not only forces you to stay on top of your *count* game, but there this sense of anticipation as you watch your pattern form. What a fun project! And beautiful and useful too. Thank you for sharing your gift and talent with us. ETA: I visited your website and purchased this pattern along with two others. Your site is very nice.
I am thrilled!!! If you wouldn't mind, could you please email me a picture of your blanket? I would love to see it. Email: info@CrochetWithTiffany.com 🤗❤️🧶
@@CrochetWithTiffany I am having a bit of difficulty sending the photos. In a last ditch attempt I sent the photos in a reply to a July mass email you sent to subscribers. Hope that worked.
I just wanted to say- crocheters-Get the pattern! Oh my goodness! I purchased the pattern for the “Old Hollywood Blanket” and it’s filled with very useful info-along with the printed instructions. So worth it! Thank you Tiffany!😊
I love your videos and instructions. You really think of everything a person needs for the project and make it easy to find and make adjustments if wanted. I wish every crochet channel was as thorough as you are. ❤
I am excited to start this blanket. I love the pattern. Thank you for always giving clear and precise instructions. I think this will be a favorite of mine as well.
I was just wondering how many years have you been crocheting and how many years have you been doing videos? I am 73 but this year is the first year I have really gotten into crocheting by watching these Tutorials. I would really like to make this blanket, but it does seem a little complicated to me. You’re a beautiful young lady and a great teacher.
Hi Marie! Oh gosh, I've been crocheting since I was 4 years old. This is my 4th year of making videos. This blanket pattern looks complicated but it has a rhythmic repeat that you can pick up on and visual cue's to help you out along the way. I think you could do it. 😊❤️🧶
So, I literally found this while looking for a pattern for a blanket to make my mom for Christmas. It’s early, but I am a planner(haha)… I am working on a blocked blanker for myself in a basket weave pattern already - this was a great transition of those skills. I think the next time I do this, which I will, I might reverse it starting at row 6 to make a chevron throughout the design, just for something different on the next one. This pattern is so much fun!!
What a fun idea!!! I love how you plan on playing with and manipulating this stitch. It will look so cool! Please send me pictures if you give it a try! 🤗🧶❤️
Wow I really loved this blanket. Can’t wait to make it.🥰. And also I’ve never seen anyone who holds the hook and yarn the exact same way I do… I actually had to learn various ways of holding the yarn because my fingers would start cramping up in that position. I think it’s the amount of time I spend crocheting lol 😂
I love that we crochet the same way! It’s cool when you can connect with someone in that way. I am so excited for you to make this blanket. The pattern is so much fun! Let me know if you have any questions. 😊❤️🧶
I am amazed that either one of you can hold your pointer finger in that position. I tried doing it and my finger hurt in about five seconds. I’m 73 years old maybe that has something to do with it.
This is a gorgeous blanket & I love the color, too. Thank you for all the work you put into this tutorial & for providing the info for all the different sizes. Merry Christmas!

Great question! I guess that depends. The pattern itself is a lot and instantly attracts the eye. If you want the focus to be on the pattern I would stick with a solid. However, if you choose 2 colors that compliment each other well and you don't change colors too often you should be ok. I do not recommend variegated yarns though as there would be too much happening and the eyes will get confused and the blanket might be hard to look at. 😊💖🧶

Nice pattern, thank you for your time, it would be appreciated, and helpful if you put the chart at the beginning of the video not the end 🤓 have a peaceful 💙🕊️ day everyone
I'm so happy you liked this blanket project. Placing the chart at the end is a way to guarantee people will watch the video to the end. Helps with RUclips analytics which determine if RUclips will share this video with people or not. 🤷🏼♀️❤️🧶
I am so inspired, thank you so much Tiffany for sharing of your amazing talent! I would like to make this blanket pattern for my daughter as part of her wedding gift. Firstly I am a new by crocheter, then needs to be black and white with maybe a small accent colour. Did I fall in love with the wrong pattern for the task? Any recommendations / help on what to do🙏 😀?
Great question Chanta! 2 things you can do. 1) redo the border but make sure your stitches are nice and loose. If you need to go up a crochet hook to help you go for it. 2) you can finish the border and then block your blanket to get everything to lay flat for you. 😊❤️🧶
Great question! I have not played with working 2 different colors yet but depending on how you wanted them incorporated in the blanket it should just be a simple Intarsia. 😊
I will be releasing the video tutorial in an upcoming video! Make sure to check back with my channel so you don't miss it and the release of the pattern!! 🤗❤️🧶
Hope this question isn't going to make me look like an idiot, but just know I am fairly new to crocheting...is this actually called the stair stitch? Or is there another common name for this particular stitch in the crochet world?? Thanks so very much...btw, I absolutely LOVE this!!! I cannot wait to try this one out. 🥰🥰
Loved this blanket, but loved even more your beanie... Where can I find the pattern? Is there a tutorial? Is this the Paige Beanie? Thank you in advanced.
Hi Hildamaris! Thank you so much! I am actually working on the pattern for the beanie I am wearing in this video. I made this beanie years ago and am having to remember what I did. 😄❤️🧶
Great question @gertrudecarter8361. Yes, you can absolutely make this blanket with a size 4 weight yarn. However, because the size 4 is significantly thinner than the size 6 weight yarn I used to make this blanket, you will need to add more chains in your foundation row and add more rows to your blanket in order to meet the blanket size you may desire. Keep your measuring tape handy and the multiple stitch count in mind as you begin. 😊❤️🧶
Awe! Thank you so much for noticing Carol-Ann. I’m actually working on the pattern for this beanie now. I made it years ago and am having to remember what I did. 😄❤️🧶
Tiffany, do you have a video/pattern for ur beautiful hat?? I'd love to make it 😃 Btw, this blanket is my next project, I have the perfect soft, chunky yarn for it 💕
This is soo beautiful !!! I love it !! I do have a question tho, would this pattern work for a 4ply yarn? If not , that’s ok.. it gives me a chance to buy more yarn lol! 🤍
Hi Jamie! I'm so glad you love my Silver Stairs crochet blanket. Ok, so not sure if you meant 4 ply or 4 weight? A size 4 weight yarn YES you could absolutely work up this blanket. The stitches will look much smaller though and the chart I provided won't be accurate but yes, you could. If you are wanting to work with a size 4 ply yarn that is the equivalent to a size 1 weight or a Super Fine yarn. In this case I do not think that size yarn will work. It will be too thin and not the most fun to work with. I hope this helps! 😊🧶🧡
Thank you so much A Brown! I'm so happy you asked and noticed. Oh gosh, I made that beanie a long time ago. I might just have to do a tutorial soon in honor of it. 😄🧡🧶

I would like to know if a mid weight #4 , yarn could be used for this blanket pattern?
Great question @gertrudecarter8361. Yes, you can absolutely make this blanket with a size 4 weight yarn. However, because the size 4 is significantly thinner than the size 6 weight yarn I used to make this blanket, you will need to add more chains in your foundation row and add more rows to your blanket in order to meet the blanket size you may desire. Keep your measuring tape handy and the multiple stitch count in mind as you begin. 😊❤️🧶
Hi Tiffany I love this blanket and I'll definitely be making it...do you have a pattern for the hat you're wearing, it's awesome. Love ❤ 😍 it...
Awe! Thank you so much for noticing Carol-Ann. I’m actually working on the pattern for this beanie now. I made it years ago and am having to remember what I did. 😄❤️🧶
Tell me about the hat you are wearing! I didn't see it in any of your Wearables playlist.
Tiffany, do you have a video/pattern for ur beautiful hat?? I'd love to make it 😃
Btw, this blanket is my next project, I have the perfect soft, chunky yarn for it 💕
This is soo beautiful !!!
This is beautiful. I also want to try to make your beenie/hat. What yarn and pattern did you use?
Thank you so much Natasha! I'm actually still in the process of getting the beanie pattern formalized. Hope to get it out soon. 😊❤️🧶
Tiffany Tiffany the hat did you design that hat is there a tutorial for it love your videos thanks
Thank you so much A Brown! I'm so happy you asked and noticed. Oh gosh, I made that beanie a long time ago. I might just have to do a tutorial soon in honor of it. 😄🧡🧶
Thanks soon I hope
Can one have the pattern for further help for a beginner.
This is gorgeous! Did I miscalculate the yardage or would it take 30+ balls of the buttercream brand of yarn for the larger afghans?
Nope, that sounds about right. A large adult Afghan is a pretty good size. ❤️🧶
Can it be done with thinner yarn
Of course. Though you would want to make adjustment to the stitch count and number of rows to achieve dimension. 😊💖🧶
