Your teaching is absolutely brilliant. Normally, as a left-hander, I would have to follow the left handed video but when it is you explaining, I can do it off the first video. You explain everything so well without being patronising or condescending. Thank you 🙏 😀
I love this Old Hollywood blanket, it is so beautiful. I use your invisible join, on all projects, that I need it. Thank you Tiffany you are a wonderful teacher, and have great tutorials.
I love your videos. You’re so enthusiastic and encouraging 😘 But not only that, you work out for us, all the combinations of different sizes, how much yarn we need for that size and tell us how many chains we need to crochet to get that size of blanket ❤ You go above and beyond to help us master a project and as I’m relatively new to crochet this is huge for me so let me send a huge hug and an even bigger thank you from across the ocean 🇬🇧😘😘😘 x

Hello my sweet Tiffany ! Another wonderful beautiful cozy blanket pattern! Thank you 🙏 so much for the the hard work you put in to making these wonderful thorough tutorials! This Hollywood Blanket is gorgeous! ❤💙💙🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏
You go girl!! A beautiful blanket and all the 'figuring' you've done,...thank you!! This will be my next big project. Love the colors. Can't wait to get started. I'm gonna have to get larger hooks, my largest is a 10mm.
I found your way of attaching yarn in one of your other videos when I first started learning to crochet (I still view myself as very much a newbie in the world of crochet) but always use your technique. Thank you for teaching me how to crochet
What a beautiful blanket! Love the colors you use and the look of the stitch pattern! I'm picturing a cozy wrap. You are such an awesome teacher Tiffany! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. I use the invisible join almost exclusively, but I don't cut the tails next to the knot. I work them into my work, one going one way and the other the other way for added strength.
Hi Tiffany. I’ll be purchasing this pattern & I’ll be making it BIG like you did. I just came from your website to purchase the pattern. Your directions and method for showing/teaching are excellent. Thank you so much.
I love watching your videos! I was still having second thoughts on what hobby should I take on next but watching you made me decide. You are so lovely to look at and your voice and how you talk is so relaxing. You look like Kristen Bell.
Love this stitch and this blanket. Have a lot of bulky yarn going to make me one. All of your videos are the best. I can always find where I have made a mistake and can correct it. I have a friend that wants to learn how to crochet and I have sent her to your web site. She is going to show me how her stitches are coming alone. Thank you for all the time you take to help us get better with our crochet projects. Have a blessed day Terry Lund
Tia Hill - I felt the same way about large blankets but then I started crocheting them into a pillow case. You aren't fighting the blanket trying to turn it over. You just grab the pillow case and flip it over at the end of the row. It was a real game changer for me. I'm not fighting the blanket every time I get to the end of a row.
Love the blanket, little expensive for me tho. Probably use a thinner yarn to accomplish this blanket anyway. Thank you for the pattern. Probably use pound of love yarn, have some here in three colors.
Hi Tiffany Hansen I love this blanket and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite types of yarn to used when crocheting ❤
So beautiful. I really enjoy our tutorials , you have taught me how to crochet a blanket and I love it! But I’m worried about washing it when the time comes as I don’t want to ruin it . Has anyone got any tips for washing a blanket like this with a chunky wool blend …thanks
Totally understand the fear of washing a blanket like this! What I would do Rochelle is wash it on the Gentle Cycle cold water. And then drape it over some chairs and let it air dry. That will be key! 😊🧶❤️
Hi Julie! That is a great question. I found some great non-wool substitute yarn options and wrote a post in my Community Tab to help. You can find my community tab by going to my RUclips Page. Hope this helps! 😊🧶❤️
Thank you Tiffany, Great video and instructions. Is it possible to show a close up of the stitches to see exactly where the hook is being placed? I always get confused with this part. The joining of new yarn mid way and changing colours has really helped me. Thank you so much. Xx 💕💕
That is a great question Jacqui! Honestly I can't get much closer to the stitches without risking getting off camera frame with some of my work. If you have the ability to watch my video on a larger screen that would help out SOO much! Some people have told me they've been able to put my videos up on the TV. That would really make everything I do clearer. 😄😊🧶🧡
I watched you on a previous blanket tutorial where you showed how to join new yarn when you run out. I’ve used that technique ever since, and it’s brilliant! Game changer 😊❤
Well, I just finished this blanket in Plymouth Encore Chunky & gave it to a friend. Between the yarn I used & the stitch, it was SO cozy & warm, I didn't want to give it away. I have a little yarn left over & am thinking of making a small blanket of what you uploaded today, Silver Stairs. Merry Christmas! I was wanting to show you my blanket. Are you on Instagram or do you have a place for your followers to show you their makings?
Oh Diana I am so happy you made this blanket as a gift. That is so special and touches my heart that you would pick one of my designs to make for a friend. Honestly, it's the things you make as gifts that you want to keep for yourself that you know will be the most special. Great job!!!! I am excited for you to try out the Silver Stairs blanket too! I think you're going to love it! I DO have an Instagram account! It's under Crochet With Tiffany. If you post something to IG and tag me in it I will be able to see it and share it on my page as well! I can't wait to see the picture of the blanket you made. Thank you so much for watching my videos and crocheting with me Diana! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. 😊🎄🧡🧶
Great question! This blanket actually worked up really fast! The yarn is a thick size 6 weight Super Bulky and the stitch is super easy. This large size blanket took me 3-4 days to complete. 🤗🧶❤️
Thank you for the feedback. If it would help, You can try watching my Popsicle Baby Blanket Border video. The blanket uses the exact same stitch as this blanket even though it's a different size yarn and in this video I am making a border around the blanket. It might help fill in some holes you are missing for this demonstration. Here's that video: ruclips.net/video/z4X_915Pvoo/видео.htmlsi=Rbgwu3UjaPY393vH
I don’t know how much you pay for yarn in the US, but over here in Blighty it’s quite expensive. That would cost nearly £120.00. Argh why, oh why, oh why? I can’t wait to see all your finished blankets though 😊
Oh yarn can be speedy here too! Blankets for sure are one of the most expensive projects. I think is just the nature of the craft. Every hobby or craft has something about it that can be expensive. I try to find bulk discounts, coupons and sales whenever I can. 😊❤️🧶
❓❓❓❓❓Hi Tiffany, I came across your Sizing Chart that you had at the end of the Sugar plum Fair blanket. I really like it because it gives me a really good idea on how much yarn, but What are the measurements on the different blankets? It seems like everyone has different measurements on the sizing. I wish you would have put the measurements on this chart. Do you have another chart that shows the measurements?❓❓❓❓❓❓
Hi Mary, I'm so glad you liked my Sugar Plum Fairy Blanket. I'm so glad you liked the chart that I added to the video. You are absolutely right. For some reason there are many different sizing charts all with different dimensions for what they say a blanket size should be. To be honest you really can't go wrong with whichever you choose. These Blanket Sizing Charts are more guides than set in stone dimensions. If you can hit at roughly in the ball park of what the chart says you're good. I've used 2 different blanket sizing charts for reference that are slightly different. I can't remember which chart I used for the Sugar Plum Fairy Blanket but the chart I used for the Old Hollywood Blanket is this one. LINK: pin.it/7lhPrpS As for me adding all the different blanket size information to the video, I stopped doing that after people reached out to me asking for more and more information. A lot of time and work goes into figuring out all the numbers and data. There is no computer software that just tells me the information. I have to figure it all out by hand. So I decided to only include the information within the pattern where I can give so much more and be compensated for my hard work and time designing it. I hope that makes sense. Blessings and best wishes to you! I hope you get a chance to make this blanket! Everything about it is so comfy and plushy, cuddly and beautiful. 🤗🧡🧶
Love this. I haven't done a large weighted yarn blanket is so many years. how long do you think it would take to make - on average 2 hours of crochet per day?
Hey Lady! This blanket honestly works up pretty fast due to the thicker yarn. Making a Small Throw Blanket, 2 hours a day, you could probably finish in a week. Large throw blanket maybe a week and a half if that. 😉😁🧶❤️
Hi Erika! I think you are referring to my Bandana Cowl. I’ll add the link here. Let me know if you were thinking of a different project. 😊 CLICK HERE: ruclips.net/video/n1141kdWppg/видео.html
I have spent a great deal of time trying to order this yarn. It seems as though quanities to knit this banket are not available. I would love suggestions for other yarns for this project.
Hi Diane! I found this website for yarn subscriptions I think will be very helpful for you. Give this a try: yarnsub.com/yarns/loops_and_threads/cozy_wool
Great question. The table is located in the pattern. There was so much to figure out based on the dimensions of each section for every blanket size I needed more space. The pattern is full of information and super cheap. I highly recommend you get it. 😊❤️🧶
You keep mentioning the pattern but when I use your link it doesn't show yardage or size or anything. I wanted to purchase the pattern. For the list of materials it shows a 4weight in3 colours. I will try and find a super chunky pattern elsewhere. I want to start my project now but can't because I don't know if I have enough yarn
Let me double check my description section and all the materials to make sure everything is accurate. Thank you for the heads up. To get the amounts of yarn that is all found within the pattern itself. 😊❤️🧶

As for me adding all the different blanket size information to the video, I stopped doing that after people reached out to me asking for more and more information.
How many rows of each color
It’s different for each blanket size and the stripes go small then medium then small again. For best answer I recommend getting the pattern. 😊
Can you use this stitch for a temperature blanket?
I actually think I did! January's stitch was the Crunch Stitch. One of my favorite stitches. 😊🧶❤️
@@CrochetWithTiffany thank you! I dug deeper into your channel and found those videos 😊

❤️❤️❤️
Where do I get the pattern at or how do I get the pattern
I got you! Here you go: www.crochetwithtiffany.com/product-page/old-hollywood-throw-blanket-pattern
Where is the table for different sizes?
Great question. The table is located in the pattern. There was so much to figure out based on the dimensions of each section for every blanket size I needed more space. The pattern is full of information and super cheap. I highly recommend you get it. 😊❤️🧶
@@CrochetWithTiffany I'll give it a look.. Thank you for answering. So many people don't.
How do you wash that blanket? Gorgeous,
Great question! This would be a machine wash gentle cycle and gold water then lay flat to dry.
